"Oh. Heh... I did..." Arrika said, sliding into his lap. Damn... he smells good... "I hate it when it's really awkward... I get embarassed by the smallest things sometimes. Those other couples you see walking around Castle Town make it seem so easy, don't they? Che, I envy other people too much. Here I am, sitting on an immortal, all powerful demonic mage and all I can think about is being someone I didn't like as much, because then I wouldn't blush all the time-" She rambled.

Sovelis put his finger on Arrika's lips. "Shh...Lets just be together for a little while before we head out. The way Rhyss is, he'll procrastinate as much as he can, even with whats-her-face there." he said, leaning back on the bed and holding Arrika close to him. "I want to have something to remember you by if we die going into the Twilight Realm. Thats one way I can die, and never come back. Death there, for anyone..is permanent and irreversible." the Tempest said as he squeezed the sheikah's slim hands in his and kissed her again.

"If you think Rhyss can delay being forced from his house, then you don't understand Mirielle yet. And if you don't mind, I'd rather not talk about dying as if we were talking about the weather..." Arrika curled up closer to him anyway. I could stay here with him forever... That's what it feels like. She couldn't help think about Ronin again, getting slightly annoyed that he had somehow gotten into her mind for the thousandth time since he'd stopped seeing her. Did I really like him? Or did I just want someone to hold on to me like now?

"Sorry. Death is something I have experienced a hundred, no...a thousand times before." Sovelis whispered, closing his eyes and breathing in deeply. He could smell her, because she was so close. Someone so warm. So full of life and hope. A person he could care about and have the same done to him in return. "Even though we have not known each other very long...I feel like we have been connected already, by the strings of fate, or whatever you want to call it." he mumbled, pulling her as close as he could.

"Really?" She pressed even closer, her mouth on the base of his neck as she kissed him there. She could feel his pulse, and for an odd moment she felt like clamping her teeth on his neck, drinking his warm blood and- "Ah. Damn," she whispered, shaking her head. Damn that vampire for possessing her; because of him, she couldn't get within 20 feet of the Temple Quarter, and every time she stared at pale Sakiko she couldn't help but... no. Best to stop dwelling on it. It's been weeks, and it's as if there's still a part of him stuck to me. Maybe Sovelis knows about exorcisms?

Sovelis kissed her back, and smiled. "I might..." he mumbled as he climbed on top of her and lay on Arrika, covering her like a living blanket. "Depends on the kind of possession, and what was left behind. But sometimes the only way to get rid of those pesky afterthoughts is to indulge in them..." Sovelis held his neck closer to Arrika and pressed it against her lips. "I'm not going to stop you...but if you drink any of my blood, you'll have powers flood into your body. Power that few mortals have ever had before."

"You're heavy, you know? Might be the metal... But no, wouldn't that just make it worse? He told me while he was stuck in my mind... I'll go crazy and eventually become this even paler, bloodsucking leech that can't stand sunlight, and one day I'll just go so insane I'll kill myself..." The Sheikah turned her face away, trying to stop those tempting desires. "I can't... her blood... I can still taste it sometimes... It drives me mad... I'll just end up wasting away. I don't think it's worth it for a few minutes of bliss."

Sovelis kissed Arrika's cheek and whispered in her ear. "The reason I was tempting you, was I think that the powers flowing in my might burn out the intruding personality traits that are bothering you." He looked in her eyes and lifted himself up off of her slightly. "Is that better?" he asked as he smiled his big, goofy grin at Arrika.

"Maybe," Arrika said. "I guess... that might work... but I'm still not going to try it. I'll just wait and see if it dies down in another week." He barely moved.

But what if it gets worse??? Maybe Rhyss can help? No, Mirielle would want to know the details of what happened, and I don't want to talk to her at all.

"Sakiko and Seth both tried everything they could think of. Maybe if I came in contact with one of the Goddesses? Then again I can't get near them without hurting myself."

"Well, thats something we share then. Cursed and unable to get close enough to someone who might remove that curse." Sovelis said, drooping his head enough so that his forhead was touching Arrika's. At least we have each other. And What will we do if these, vampires urges don't go away? he asked, talking right into her mind as he smiled at her.

I'll figure something out. Or Kobas will, whenever he gets back... He finds a way to fix everything. I'll probably end up biting you on accident anyway...She said honestly. She couldn't space off and daydream anymore as she was afraid of losing control. Is it normal to look in the mirror and see something else? Or not see yourself at all? She laughed nervously. That one scares me the most.

Everyday, I look into a mirror, and I can see the faces of everyone who has died because of me. I see the pain I have caused. I would gladly trade with you, and be able to see nothing at all Arrika. Just count your blessings where you can... Sovelis said back, closing his eyes and putting his head next to Arrika's. "Lets hope that Seth doesn't walk in on use, with Rhyss and whats-her-name with him...We'd be so screwed..." he said, whispering in Arrika's ear.

That's what Kobas would tell us all the time. 'Be lucky you kids actually have a bite to eat. Where I've been and what I've seen, people would kill for that chunk of bread you're holding, got it?' Kobas would scold, as Seth used to whine every day.

"Yea, Mirielle would never quit harassing me for this one," she whispered back. "I hate her so bad, I really do. Seth used to say we'd never rest til she was dead... he was joking, but I think he was serious too. I wish he would tell me what he Sees whenever he brushes past me. I wonder how I'm going to die? I wonder if he's Seen it..."

Sovelis rolled off of the girl he had been on and sighed. How do I tell her that she's not going to die? Ever...that the same fate I have is what she is doomed with? he asked himself, remembering the one dream that he knew Seth had. The only time the boy had been able to see clearly into the future, a future that was all of theirs. A future that was...the end of their world, and of the end of the Sovelis that lay there next to Arrika? Of her fall into Sovelis's madness with him..into the depths of hell and back...

"I'm sure he can't see very well, because of the distortion around me..." Sovelis lied, kissing Arrika's neck and letting her scent fill his mind.

"You're lying," Arrika said, pushing him away and sitting up. The way Sovelis had said it seemed odd. "I can tell. What did Seth tell you?" The Sheikah demanded. "Don't come up with a stupid excuse either, that'll just make it worse! I'm not psychic, but I've told enough lies in my life than I can count. What did he See? And he told you before me? That little rat."
