"Camping?" Arrika looked at him as if was crazy. "No. I don't think I'm going to be camping for a while. A very long while." Her hand drifted unconciously to her neck. "Yeah, me and Sakiko, we already tried that. Tried to save a burning house too. And kill a vampire, who ended up killing his sister and his mother anyways, saving us the trouble. We started fighting again, and then it started to rain. No, I think that's enough camping for me..." Arrika rolled her eyes as Sovelis winked, guessing he might have ended up putting his boots on the wrong foot or something in his haste to finally get them on.

"Alright. No camping. But do you still want your own room?" Sovelis looked at Arrika, and tilted his head sideways. "I kinda like having someone next to me at night. I slept better last night than I have in a long time." the Tempest exclaimed, a wide smile spliting his face as he started back down the stairs.

As he entered the hallway that they all had been in last night, Sovelis gasped silently in pain, and his metal hand shot to his right shoulder. Damn it...He's getting egger. Probably knows that he's going to get to be out for some killing, and he's one happy demon...

Arrika understood what he meant. Having someone next to you while you were in the most vulnerable part of the night, sleeping, was a reassurance she had missed. "You don't look like you slept well," she said, remembering the tired expression on the Tempest's face as they had breakfast.

"Are you alright?" She said as Sovelis flinched. "Hey, do you want me to run ahead and look for Seth? I think I can go faster on my own."

Sovelis shook his head, and straitened his back so that he was standing normally. "I highly doubt it. Let me grab my cloak, my staff, and my satchel. Then we can get going." he told her, smiling weakly at Arrika. "And don't worry. I always look tired in the morning." he explained, walking towards the living room. As he led his Sheikah apprentice he tried to keep his face from showing any visible pain.

Why now...Why are you acting this way now? Sovelis thought, aiming the question to the evil sealed within him. This is going to be a fun day for me. I haven't gotten to kill in so long! You barely tapped my power when you were in the throne room, fighting your...Comrades. Sovel told his host, an amused tone in his disembodied voice.

He's lying again... Arrika sang to herself. "Guess you're just getting old, huh?" She joked, clapping him on the back, but drew her hand back immediately as a burning energy emanated from the Tempest, her right hand reddening. "Wha...?" She looked at him, concern written across her face. "What's he telling you now? Too bad Seth is scared to death of you- but I'm sure he has a reason."

"Just the usual. KILL KILL KILL KILL!!! BWUAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I've gotten used to it already. Seth has a good reason to be afraid. He can see what this, monster...Has done. And what I've done as well." Sovelis said somberly, grabbing his cloak and putting it on him. "I'm not that old Arrika." the youthful looking mage said, casting a sideways look at Arrika. "You'd understand if you had to walk a mile in my body...the sorrow I live with everyday."

The Sheikah remembered the looks Seth would get on his face through the years- Once Kobas finally allowed he and Arrika to come to a mercenary and rogue gathering which was held, unknown to most average citizens of Hyrule, in an old, huge shelter underground of North Castle Town twice every year. Seth had been excited at first, but when they arrived he shrank into a corner and clung to Rhyss. The worst and cruellest criminals happened to come to the little meeting as well, and their memories of past kills and crimes radiated from every inch of them. Seth had been a lot younger then, and much more innocent and susceptible to fear. He refused to sleep alone, clinging to Rhyss while he slept for 4 nights in a row as Kobas refused to baby him that way, saying that he needed to gain more control over his abilities. Then there were his regular nightmares. He cried out in his sleep a lot, but whether he recalled the horrific visions he'd seen in the morning was yet to be seen. Haunted looks would fill his normally cheerful eyes and the thief wouldn't speak to anyone or meet their gaze.

"I'm sure Seth understands... for a bratty jerk he understands people more than I do," Arrika said.

"Don't be jealous of his power. I'd rather you not be able to truly see what I have done. The sheer numbers I have slain. The lives I have ruined, and the dreams I have shattered." Sovelis said, grabbing his satchel and slinging the strap over his shoulder. "Be glad that your min may still remain innocent. That you don't have to hear everyone's deepest, most inner thoughts as if they said it outloud. It is a blessing that you are not like Seth."

"To tell you the truth, I was always glad I wasn't like Seth. It's cool and all, and you're a lot more useful, but it's not worth it in the long run. Kobas said that if he didn't learn to control it he'd eventually go insane... Do you think so? Oooh, wait til you meet Mirielle. You don't even have to be telepathic to catch on to what she's thinking."

There was a knock on the door and Arrika's head automatically swiveled towards it. "Screw this," the person ouside muttered, picking the lock easily and throwing open the door with a bang. It was Seth, and he collapsed on the same couch Russell had been lying on earlier, the smell of alchohol thick in the air and mercifully numbing his brain for a few moments.

"Seth? Are you... alright?"

"No. Shut up and go away."

"Seth? I thought you went to get Mirielle and Rhyss?" Sovelis said, looking down at the telepathic, green haired thief. "Tell me what is bothering you." he said, kneeling next to the couch. Is it the Twilight? Or is it something else? The tempest tried to sooth the boy, but knew that his touch would only anger him.

OoC: He'd didn't leave for Rhyss and Mirielle yet. Now is the part where we actually tell him to go get them.

IC: Hit the nail on the head, didn't you? "Why don't the rest of you just disappear too?" Seth growled, face down on the cushions. "I don't feel like talking right now."

"Stop whining, Seth, and either tell us what happened or be useful and go get Rhyss. And Mirielle if you have to," Arrika interrupted. "We need to find a way to get into the Twilight. You probably already know this, but someone made a link between the Twilight Realm and Hyrule, which isn't supposed to happen for at least a century."

Seth's nails were biting into the palm of his thin hand, red marks appearing. He had a bruise on his shoulder and stomach where the Twili woman had shoved him, and he could feel a hot pulse beating in both places.

"Don't be that way Seth. What did I do to you that you should be so hateful for? I've let you into my home, and promised to train you and make you stronger, and your just being a brat." Sovelis said, grabbing Seth's arm and pulling him up. "I know why your upset, but their isn't any need to be. Just be happy that your going to see her again. Alright?" the Tempest said, still gripping Seth's wrist.

Seth hung limply from his arm down, and what he wanted more than anything at the moment was for Sovelis to stop touching him and for everyone else to leave him alone while he sulked. "Why does everyone hate me...?" He whimpered. "All I do is drive everyone away... I didn't ask for this..."

Arrika immediately picked up on what Seth was feeling, having encountered it before. "Crap, Seth, what happened?"

"I don't care anymore. She basically told me she hated me too..." And she was the only one who ever came close to understanding me. His voice was hoarse and cracked, his hair hanging over his eyes although Arrika was sure he was close to crying or had done so before knocking. Who knows how long had Seth had sat on the doorstep attempting to hold back and surpress his feelings, and then try to put on a mask of indifference?

Sovelis let go of the boy's arm, only to wrap his own arms around Seth and hug him. "It isn't true. Everyone doesn't hate you Seth..." he said, trying to comfort the Hylian. "I know it hurts to feel alone. We all do. Thats why I wanted you and Arrika here. So we wouldn't all be alone anymore...to feel like a family." Sovelis said, picking Seth up and squeezing him in a warm hug. "Arrika... help me smother Seth in a hug."

Seth still remained limp in the Tempest's arms, only twitching slightly as Arrika hugged him and pecked him on the cheek. If you don't hate me now, I bet you will soon enough. As Arrika hugged the younger thief tightly she realized what the reason other from pity (or as Rhyss liked to put it, having personal brain washed soldiers with very impressionable minds to follow your every whim) that Kobas and Rhyss had picked them up was. Being alone wasn't fun, and if you were used to being on your own it was even worse although you didn't know it by that point. Everyone needs someone else to fall back on, and for some reason Seth didn't realize it at all or didn't believe in it.
