Leth's face lost it's sheepishness, as Leth contemplated deeply. Finally, he suggested, "I think we should go check all of the locked doors. There weren't THAT many, and besides, how will we know what it did if we don't look around?"

"Ughh! So confusing!" Brin unrolls the map and takes a look.
"Hmm... here we are in this room... there was are barred door there... hmm... wait!!! I know!" Brin puts away the map.
"It seems as if we have already explored every room on this floor. In the room where we fled from the flock of keese, there was a set of bars blocking the way to a staircase. The sound could have been coming from that direction. Should we check it out?"

"Uh... oh, yeah, That's right!" Says Leth excitedly. "The bars, the bars! C'mon, let's go!" He jumps up and down impatiently.

"Somebody had to much sugar..." Sovelis mumbled as he headed towards the room Brin was speaking of. "Brin, what is in this dungeon anyway? Is their some giant demon boss we have to fight?" the Last Tempest asked his white haired friend.

ooc: Um... yeah... why are we in this dungeon? You hired us, but you never told us what we were doing.

IC: (Leth says the same.)

OOC: So sorry for the delay! I've been sick lately and haven't come on the computer much.

IC: With the party overwhelming him with questions, Brin has to say something.

"Why are we in this dungeon, you ask? I suppose a bit of explaining is overdue, since I dragged you all here. This dungeon is not our destination. It is merely a very annoying barrier in the way of our quest. The interdimensional portals are one-way, and they only work once. This was the only one I could find, but unfortunately, it led us to a cave full of monsters. Above our heads is a grand fortress consisting of a tall tower surrounded by a very thick wall. It is home to a tribe of savage barbarians who take joy in cruel punishments and black magic. When I vanished from the Temple of the Forgotten Legends, I accidently discovered a portal that led to this world. Soon afterwards, I was captured by this cruel tribe. Only by luck was I able to escape and return to Hyrule, with two small bits of knowledge. One is that my grandfather's death was not an accident. He did not die of sickness. This group of evil warriors and mages knew my grandfather through some connections that I do not have time to explain. They knew he was a powerful mage, and they needed the blood of one such mage to seal the curse on their greatest weapon: Majora's Mask. They know about our alternate dimension of Hyrule, and with Majora's Mask, they plan to dominate both it and their home world, a place called Termina. They are a tribe who call themselves Majorans, and are hated and feared in this world of Termina where we now stand. I came here to avenge my grandfather, Brell, but I also came here to stop their devilish plans before they destroy this dimension and ours. We must destroy their mask and return to Hyrule! Is that a good enough explaination for you, my friends?"

And with that, Brin sweeps down the hallway, with his white cloak swishing behind him. Not long after, you hear a cry. "The Keese are back!" he yells. A little help over here would be appreciated!!!"

"Where are all of these damn bats coming from?!? ELEMENTEL EXPLOSION!!!" Sovelis roared as he cast his spell.

Rolled a 2, Its a water blast, Let the flood begin.
IC: Sovelis's spell took the form of a tidal surge, flooding the tunnel in front of our hero's and rushing at the Keese. "SURF'S UP, DUDE!!!" Yelled Sovelis as he laughed.

Kasei looked at the keese menacingly, then raised his scimitar, poised to strike should any come close. "Hmph, these nonentities aren't even worth my time, i'll let sovelis deal with them." The rebel flame said, and prepared to dodge any unsitly attacks. [dodge check]

OOC: I'm finally back! Let's get this going again!

IC:

The explosion of water drenches Sovelis, Brin and Kasei, rebounding off the walls of the room. The force of the sudden burst of liquid knocks the three off of their feet, and they hit the ground with force. The tumultuous blast rips through the Keese, tearing them all to shreds, falling limply to the ground like soggy black rags. Water sloshes down all of the passageways connecting to the room with the force of the powerful spell.

Kasei doesn't need to worry about dodging the little winged nuisances, for they have all been destroyed by Sovelis' well-executed Elemental Explosion.

Brin clambers to his feet, and removes his sodden white cloak, then shakes it out before putting it back on. Ahead is a stone staircase that climbs higher, closer to the surface. This way was blocked by bars previously. Could the switch have opened the passage?

"Good work, Sovelis!" Brin exclaims jovially. "We showed those brats what's what!"

"So," he continues, "Shall we go up?"

Sovelis's wet hair hangs in his face." I should have tied it back." he said as he did so. "At least I killed all of them..." he said as he looked over to brin. "Do you need me to heal you? It looks like you've taken a beating Brin." he said.

As Brin hears Sovelis' comment, he realizes for the first time in this great escapade how tired and injured he really is.

"Taken a beating? Yes, I definitely have! Healing would be helpful, if you are willing to use some of your magical power. You seem to be running low, as do I. Maybe we should wait until we find some Magic Jars."

Brin gestures once again to the newly opened passageway. "Well, what are we waiting for?"

Kasei looked in amazement as Sovelis single-handidly defeated the keese. The rebel flame congradulates the tempest, then follows Brin down the tunnel. Then a question pops into his mind. "Hey, Brin, where are you from? I don't know alot about you." Kasei said, then entered his own thoughts, waiting for the leaders answer.

Sovelis put his real hand on Brin's shoulder. "Let the wounds you have suffered heal, let them close and leave no mark upon you. LIFE!" Sovelis said quickly as he cast his Life spell upon His comrade. "That should help you out." he said as he slumped over. "I...Think that I'm starting to run low on energy..."

GAH! EH! YIKES! I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THIS TOPIC!!!!!

IC: Leth, uh... hold on.

OOC: Okay, what was Leth doing during the battle with the keese? I hope he enjoyed counting the stones in the ceiling or something...

IC: Leth just snapped out of... whatever he was doing... and glances around. "Wow, where'd all the dead Keese come from?"
