She won't hate you Seth. Your about as close to her as a brother. Can't you even see that she cares for you? Sovelis thought, letting go of his students. "We'll head on out to the spot where the Doorway was opened , Seth. I want to find any clues if I can. I want you to actually get Rhyss and...I forgot her name...the one you ll hate." he told Seth as he grabbed his staff. "We need to hurry before the residual energy fades and leaves me without a clue to look at."

Thankful for a chance to get away and be alone for a few minutes Seth took off west for Rhyss's house without a word. Arrika was already at the door, eager to see the Twilight Realm. "Well let's go then, slowpoke, and have a moment's peace before-" she shuddered- "-Mirielle shows up! I don't blame you for forgetting her name all the time- I would too if I could," the Sheikah said with a smile, jogging outside and completely unaware of the mess that awaited all of them.

"Oh? Your wanting to spend time with me. Alone?" He said, nudging Arrika in the side gently with his elbow. "Well, I actually need to find out as much as I can about this doorway before we can go through it. If not, It would be like going into the dark without a lantern. Right?" Sovelis asked, looking at Arrika's face.

"Exactly," Arrika said, jumping up and giving him another light kiss. "Hey, ever heard of just winging it? Rogues do it all the time... it's really only the assassins that have to go over and calculate everything." The world seemed so bright that day, the complete opposite to the chiling Twilight. A little sparrow glided above her, singing happily. The curious thing was that the small bird was a very odd color: A mix of light and dark oranges that looked like a sunset. Arrika had a feeling that she'd encounter the bird again, but at the moment felt like it was carrying all her troubles away to make room for the new ones they would have to face.

OoC: The bird is from Radiant Dawn. Not this bird exactly, but a bird very similar to it. I'm in a Fire Emblem mood and am deprived from my TV. Did you know my sister just knocked down my Wii, pulling it from all the wires and dragging down the sensor bar and everything???

Sovelis put his hand on Arrika's and gave it a squeeze. "Yes...but I'm not going to do that. We can get killed or worse if we try to open a doorway to another world. Trust me. This is my area of specialty. So lets get going before Seth and the others pop up. I...kinda want to be alone with you before they get here and whats-her-face tries something to mess us up." the Tempest said, Walking with Arrika next to him.

"Alright... whatever," Arrika replied, following him. "Do me a favor and don't let Mirielle appoint herself as the leader of our little army. Just two thieves and three mages is overbalanced enough... if we added an even bigger ego to the scale, it'd break. Oh, wait, we have Rhyss for that... but you'll see, he acts a lot differentely with Mirielle around. It's funny sometimes too... you can tell he wants to praise himself, but whenever he tries Mirielle twists it around like he's insulting her, so of course he has to say something good about her. Which is really hard to do."

"Well, since this was my idea, I'll be the leader. And I'd like to see Mirielle say something about us." Sovelis said, letting go of Arrika's hand as they got to the edge of town. "She sounds like...a power hungry witch of you ask me." he mumbled as he looked at her. "Which way should we go? The quick way through the woods, or the long way around the woods?" Sovelis asked, looking at the ground in embarrassment.

Arrika dug in her pocket for a coin, flipping it in the air. "Long way. Short way's bound to be a bog full of mud. I hate mud." See? That's how thieves make important life-changing decisions. She grinned, two teeth noticeably longer and more canine-like. "And yes. That is precisely what she is. Doesn't it make you wonder what'd she'd be like if she actually had a life? Or did something other than piss people off and ruin their lives? There should be a whole chapter in the huge book of philosophy on that subject. Or so Kobas says."

"Are you sure your not just wanting to go the long way so we take longer...and have time our ourselves?" Sovelis said, pulling Arrika a little closer. "You could have asked to go the long way." he whispered, smiling at her as he led her down the dirt road that went around the woods "And Kobas sounds like he knows what he's talking about. Did Mirielle like Kobas?"

"He knows everything. Or that's how he made it seem. But yeah, of course she did! Who wouldn't? He's clever, and funny, and strong, and so good-looking, why I remember how I used to cling to his arm when we walked around North Castle because the looks on the faces of the other girls were so hilarious! The only thing I didn't like about him was that he liked to hit on a lot of girls- but he'd ditch them after one night. Mirielle's way older than him though. Sometimes I think she likes other guys just for the purpose of seeing Rhyss get mad," Arrika said. "And don't ask questions you know the answer to," she added in response to his first comment.
