Hyrule Adventures 2

Dogura chuckled. "Oh, and you should talk?" He realised that he had said this aloud, and felt a bit embarassed. "Urk.. Shall we move onward?" He stammered.

OOC: You're welcome, ZV.

IC:
Koura grins at Dogura's question. "Fortunately, I grew up in this town; I know where everything is...except all the patrols. And, I have good news," she says calmly as she looks out from behind their current alley. "We're here."

Around the corner is indeed the Crescent Moon Tavern. The decrepit building sits along the streets, seemingly abandoned at the early hour. There appear to be no patrols on the street, but upon closer inspection you can see two Gerudo sitting against the building's wall. They're both drunk, but one still seems to retain some slight coherence.

They're far enough away from the entrance that you might be able to slip in...

"Okay, I almost got us all caught multiple times, so I'll try to go in first," Rose says, guilt slightly outlining her voice. She starts to walk quickly, but silently, to the door.

The Gerudo lifts her head as her lone half-opened eye spots a slight bit of movement. But she's drunk; she doesn't care if anybody's going into the bar. Unless the person in question is planning on getting her another drink.

OOC: Is that a hint, Alpha?

IC:
Rose is struck by an idea. If these Gerudos are drunk, then maybe she can get them drunk enough to pass out, giving the others safe passage into the bar.

"You look thirsty," Rose says. "Shall I dash in and get you a beer? Or perhaps something stronger? If you want, I can stay out here with you; I don't mind sharing a drink outside with other people."

OOC: It might be.

The Gerudo's eyes light up - just barely - at the sound of a drink. "Suuuure...*hiccup*...I...liiiike driiiiinkssssss....."

*Hiccup!*

Rose enters the tavern and orders two beers. She comes back out and hands a beer to the Gerudo guard. (OOC: Sorry if that seems like god modding; thought I'd make this move a bit faster if I didn't have to wait for you to hand me the drinks) "So, is desert life any good?" Rose asks, moving around the guard so that the Gerudo would have her back to the door. Considering her past mistakes, it wouldn't hurt to be too careful, even with a drunken guard.

Raven repressed the urge to groan as Rose once again threw herself into the breach. However this time things didn't go wrong, at least not yet. Third time lucky I guess and the fact the guards are so drunk they can't see straight doesn't hurt Sticking to the shadows he creeps towards the Tavern but stops short until the guard has fallen unconscious.

"Oooooh yeeeah, dessssserttt life's greeeat..." Taking a sip of her new beer, the Gerudo lets off a rather loud hiccup, then belches. Finally, her head falls to the side and she collapses on the street. She won't be waking up for quite a while.

Koura walks out of the shadows, a slight grin on her face. "Nicely done, Rose."

'For once,' she adds to herself.

OOC: Oh, that hurts, Alf.

IC:
Rose takes a sip of her beer. "Thanks," she says. "Well, let's go in and find this Enici then." She walks back into the tavern.

Within the tavern can be seen countless tables, several seats, and darkness. Immense darkness. Two Gerudo patrons sit at the bar, gazing over their own drinks and the now used glasses that had previously contained a sizable amount of beer. Koura steps in with great caution, eyeing both of the drinkers for several seconds. Finally, she seems to decide that they won't cause much trouble, but makes sure to wrap her cloak around her just in case.

Walking along the booths that line the walls, Koura glances in each one with growing impatience. "Empty..." she mutters as she passes by the seventh one. "Empty...empty.....empty.......empty...Enici!" she says happily, though she does manage to restrain her vocal cords enough so that only those in the area of the booth can hear her.

The doctor looks up in shock at the sound of his name. A young human male of about 32 years, his hair is blond and short. He is relatively tall and thin, standing at about 5' 10", and his skin is tanned enough to show that he has been in the desert for some time. His glasses reflect the small amount of light in the tavern, shrouding the shock in his eyes at the sight of Koura.

"Koura?! What in the name of the Colossus are you doing here!?! Are you insane?"

The Gerudo shakes her head. "Not insane, just desperate."

Before she can continue, a shout comes from the bar area: the bartender. "HEY! You're Koura, the Exile! Guards! Guards!" Fortunately, with the guards conked out from Rose's drinks, they fail to come in (OOC: Good work, HNS). Unfortunately, the two at the bar awaken as a result of the bartender's screaming. Grabbing their scimitars, they charge forward, ready to take the Exile's head back to their superiors to claim a reward.

"We don't have time for this," Koura says through clenched teeth. "Can you guys take care of them? I'll need to describe exactly what Calla's condition is to the Doc, so he can think through exactly what needs to be done for medicine."

The Gerudo approach.

Rose draws her sword (OOC: Just a friendly reminder, the sword is really a dagger stat-wise). She rushes forward and meets the first guard. Not trying to kill, Rose brings the hilt of the sword down onto the Gerudo's head. "Sorry," she mutters in Gerudic.

So the Jarod Bug strikes again, eh? It's been a while since we've had that happen...anyways, it has been deleted. -RG

'Sure. I haven't had a decent fight in a week.' Raven responds to Koura. Although he is thought that just walking in through the front door was a mistake. He grabs a glass from the bar and tries to take a drink from it. 'Empty.' He then throws the glass at the Gerudo and follows it up by stabbing his dagger down towards the Gerudo's shoulder. (Referring to the second Gerudo.)

Rose's hilt catches the clumsy Gerudo on the forehead, displaying how she is obviously still somewhat drunk (17+4[Roll+AGI]). Falling to the floor, she quickly attempts a counter with her scimitars, and manages to get a few slashes in at the Human's chest (20+4[Roll+AGI]), dealing 9 DMG.

The glass shatters right in the second Gerudo's face, providing enough distracting pain that she does not even realize that the dagger is coming until it is already digging into her shoulder (9+6[Roll+AGI]). 7 DMG is dealt. Like her companion, she tries to slash back at the thief; unlike her companion, she fails to do so (12+5[Roll+AGI]).

Rose: 32 HP
Raven: 31 HP

Gerudo #1: 23 HP
Gerudo #2: 23 HP

Dogura glares at the Gerudo. "Nothing personal... But you must be dealt with swiftly, and efficiently. Allow me to demonstrate." He said with a small grin that revealed his confidence. Unsheathing his sword, it gleamed in the light provided. It was apparent that the samurai enjoyed shining his blade in his spare time.

"Now for the demonstration!" He cried, as he brought his blade down on the Gerudo's shoulder. He wasnt one to kill, but he could not ignore the fact that they were in danger, and scruples must be set aside for the time.


OOC: I like your logic HNS. Alpha, could I RP dogura using his enigmatic samurai sword, when in RP terms, it really just boils down to a deku sword?
