Ok, well, I took the liberty of counting up the votes that people voiced, back in August, for July, including people who may or may not be active now, and also noting Julian's change of vote:

Julian: Grenada
Arco: Grenada
Alpha: Grenada
Arthur: Grenada
Leon: Alpha
Malciore: Alpha
Victor: Alpha
Denning: Darilan
Grenada: Darilan

Any additions or corrections to the minutes? Currently: Grenada (4), Alpha (3), Darilan (2)?

All right, if there are no objections, I think it's safe to say that we should/can close voting for the July RP award, and declare Grenada the winner for July.

Congratulations Grenada, and enjoy your new TP!

============

Now, without further ado, let's open voting for the August RP Award. No nominations this time, just voice who you think should receive the award (and hopefully, why :D).

phantompigcollector wrote:I guess, but let me just make it clear that if we were to have a vote for July I would vote for Grenada. As for August, I vote for Alpha. There were more chapters of his story in August. His ability to right is truly a literary phenomena. Each chapter produced clear insight as to what was happening and what might occur. Each chapter left me in utter amazement and surprise. But above all, the way he is able to leave me in wonder as to what will happen next has won my vote.

Bravo Alpha! Bravo!
Well, I don't have to say much other than I vote for Alpha. :D

Well, I think it quite prideful to vote for oneself, so I'm voting for Malciore of Noe. His fights are a pleasure to be a part of, and his storyline is rather complex, I mean, he's trying to find a way to capture Umbra so that he doesn't kill his brother, and now he's got his own alter ego to fight against. Add in the hilarity of Hurrak, and I'd say we've got a good candidate.

Also, thank you all for voting for me. It’s really a pleasure to be a part of this world, and I love playing my own mysterious part in it. Part 5 (and maybe 6; not sure yet how I'll do it all) comes out this Tuesday; I only hope that you all like the abilities I’ve given my characters. 8)

Shan't procrastinate any longer ^^. Come on guys, we need more votes for August!

For August, I will vote for Alpha as well. Actually, kind of like what Victor said, it's a vote for this massive August-September campaign that he's been putting all so much work into. I mentioned before the sheer ballooning in post count that's occurred recently, and I think that, great writing aside, the sheer volume of good material shows his serious efforts in the late August to September period. And as for writing quality... I don't think I need to link to any particular thread--any one of his Master Search opening posts is worth a second read. ^_^ And there'ya go.

With both August and September out of the way, we will now close voting for August's Role-Player of the month: Alpha!

Congratulations Alpha, and enjoy your new TP!

-------------------

Now, as we vote for the best Role Player for September, let's try to get back on track :D. The final day to vote will be Tuesday, October 11th, a week from today. Again, no nominations, just votes. Cast your ballots now!

Well, as the winner I feel I should make some kind of speech. And so I shall.

Thank you all! 8)

That's all, folks!
Okay, I guess I might as well make the first vote for Sept. I'm voting again for Malciore, for reasons I already stated.

There's only one day left before voting ends and I think that we should all get voting.

I cast my vote for Burning Monkey. His characters, The Lovers, are great. I give much points for creativity and the transition from husband to wife in conversations is well thought out. And each character has a distinct personality.

I'm gonna vote for Sheng Long. His "Move on....move one..." topic is very descriptive, and I think that justifies a vote for him.

Also, I think his character is cool. Sheng Long seems to be really into his character, to the point that he seems almost human!

Plus, I like his....erm....artistic sense in the graffiti he's posted.

Overall, I think he deserves a vote.

What someone found all 5 my little scripts... *wolfish grin* ?

My vote goes to my good freind stone and The Lovers, you write them better than Mieville himself.

I'll get you next time Burning Monkey!

Sorry about the delay, folks! Now, kneeslapping fake-drumroll for September's winner...! A vote for Malciore of Noe, a vote for Sheng Long, and two votes for Burning Monkey's "The Lovers"! Good work, you two!

Congratulations The Lovers, and enjoy your new TP!

PS. Bird964's meaningless post deleted to keep things clean.
