Sakiko sighed, and edged away from the stranger. Such nuisance! However, the red haired color seemed oblivious to the waves of annoyance radiating from Sakiko. Zapheta clapped and did a cartwheel. She did some more backflips, and landed on her hands with ease. She beamed at Arrika and said,
"Nopee, I be a traveler! I don't settle down for nuthin'."
She laughed and began to sing,
Don't settle down for nuthin,
cuz I can't resist the somethin'
of the long, long road...
the long, long...
Zeze trailed off, fianlly seeing Sakiko's glacial stare. The bard knelt by the mage, quickly switching into gravity and serious composure.
"Sakiko, do you really not remember me? Although you do look different, I still remember you. Keiko Town, with your aunt Opegaria, right? And after your house burned down..."
Zeze choked on her words, her emerald eyes welling up. Sakiko's eyes widened. For a fleeting second, she truly believed that this Zeze could've been telling the truth this whole time. And it was true: her past memories were blurry, but she couldn't have forgotten so many factors of her childhood. It seemed impossible. The mage stood up abruptly, hiding her face. Completely ignoring Zeze, Sakiko turned to Arrika and commented with a rather trembling voice,
"It's getting late. We should create a fire to keep the monsters and the cold away. Although I don't mind the cold..."
