Kasei smiled as the bloody man finished his protest. "Killing you . . . just for being out late? Now, that's just ubsurd." He said. In an instant, his blade was pressed har against Drake's neck. Normally, the man would be dead, but Kasei had the back of the scimitar against him, not the edge. "You see, this one here, because he fell for a ruse, proved that he is not as innocent as he would try to make one believe. And his comments don't help at all. And you, my freind," he addressed the mage, "You are covered in blood. That there is definately something suspicious, if I ever saw one." He removed his weapon from Drake's throat and stepped back.

"I'm not going to harm any of you, but I suggest you all get to bed before I drink a bit more and . . . let slip that you are all here. Of course, by then, you should be long gone, correct?" He asked, with a wink, before walking off . . .

Drake laughed as Kasei began to walk off "I like the way you think kid" he said "but you forgot something" he said as he tossed a bottle of what appeared to be ale to Kasei

Kasei doesn't yet realize that I'm one of those thieves, I can use that to my advantage. Better keep a low profile around him, Luna thought. Still, he had suggested that by being a woman she was vulnerable, and that didn't sit well with her.
"You can't scare me Kasei, I'm perfectly capable of defending myself!" She called after him. "Besides, I'm not stupid enough to be out alone after dark. You may not be able to see him, but my partner is watching." Humph, implying that I'm weak, what nerve!

IC: Kin was glanced at everyone. Kin looked at drake and said "so your a demon...well im possessed by a demon that loves to fight." Kin was thinking. If I attack him from the side or his back we could kill him.Kin then pulled out his staff again. "Kasei why are you leaving.."

"Well part demon" Drake said to Kin. Drake rested his sword on his shoulder again.

Seth suppressed a sigh of relief, unwilling to move from his spot until Kasei had left them completely. That was close... Seth thought. But of course he wouldn't dare kill me... I'm too useful to go to waste like that, as Rhyss would say. Seth hated being accepted as a tool instead of a person, but in situations like this it was useful. Or maybe he didn't care about that at all? He's almost like Sovelis, nearly impossible to predict.

Drake looked at Seth. "You okay kid?" he said wiping the blood from his lips.

Kin had an evil look on his face. At the time it was he's purple streaks in his hair were showing. He revealed his other arm. It had a scar on it."Hey what's wrong?" He said to seth.

OOC: I want this to be a long topic so don't leave plzzz!!

"Well now what? We've just been caught out ater curfew, like a bunch of little kids caught avoiding naptime. I'm not going to bed yet, that's for sure. Poor old Kasei doesn't scare me any, I can handle any poes and stalfos and things that go bump in the night." Luna said to the others as she pulled herself up into another tree and leaned back against the trunk.

Drakes eyes seemed to change from red to their natural blue color as he continued to wipe blood from himself. "pfft, I dont even have a home, where does he expect me to go?" Drake said throwing his hands in the air "heh, might as well hang round here"

"I'm fine," Seth said shortly to Drake. "Oops, you missed a spot," he added sarcastically. The small thief's shadow wavered oddly even though he did not move; in a few moments it warped and twisted away from his body and collected itself into a dark pool at his feet. "Sauron!" Seth mumbled as a black cat formed from the pool. The hellcat gave a keening meow and eyes Drake oddly, its lamp-like eyes glowing. If, by chance, anyone looked back to where Seth's own shadow should have been, they would have noticed it had disappeared completely...

"heh, nice cat." Drake said "here kitty" He said sarcasticaly as he bent down and motioned to it.

Sauron walked lazily over to Drake, nudging his hand with his head. A few seconds later the cat began licking greedily at the blood staining the man's hands, purring with contentment. Eventually the cat reached up and stood on its back feet to lick Drake's face, as most of the blood was near his lips.

Seth did not bother to stop the Twili cat; in fact, Drake was doing him a favor. The cost of being linked to Sauron, a type of lesser demon, was not just his own shadow, but some of his own higher energy that fueled his psychic abilities. If the cat found a free meal for a night, even blood, then Seth could strengthen the bond between them without any effort on his part.

Drake stroked the cat as it licked him. "He seems to like the taste of blood" he said "What exactly is this thing anyway?"

"He's a type of lesser demon. A Twili, sort of, if you've ever heard of them. You could call him a hellcat," Seth shrugged. "You could even say he's a parasite, but he lends me his power when I need it, so he's a nice exception." The thief observed Sauron's behavior with a half-smile. "Thanks, actually. If it weren't for you being covered in blood, I would have been to weak to stay awake any longer."
