Denning, cloaked and hood covering his head, walked toward the booth. He carried with him a letter, sealed. He walked up to the booth, placed his letter on the booth, and walked away.

When you open up the letter, you will read.

Hail, Mercenaries. This letter is in response to you signing up for a mission. Fort Damon shall be infiltrated with your help. If you are still up for this job, please, meet me just north of the Deku's Village, near the entrance to the desert.

If both of you are coming, each will receive 50 ruppies after the quest is finished. If you choose to leave before the task is completed, you shall receive less. If you need a weapon, or armor, that can be provided, just let me know.

-Denning

Saber was dreaming. In his dream he was sneaking down a corridor. He felt uncomfortable, like he shouldn't be there, even though he had no idea where it was. Reaching an entrance into a parallel corridor, he pressed himself up against the wall and slowly turned to look down it. The coast was clear there too. Funny how there's no security in this place....He thought to himself as he began to walk down the new corridor. Suddenly he heard a noise behind him. Turning, he unsheathed his Saber and brought it around into a defense position. The noise was echoing down the hall....it sounded like a yell....Then the noise repeated;

"HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYY!" Puzzled, Saber looked back down the corridor. There was a man running towards him, dressed in extremely light white clothing and a red hat. A flag on his back was scraping the top of the ceiling. Stopping before Saber, he reached into a bag on his side. Saber gasped, then hopped backwards, flourishing his blade. He was about to strike when the stranger pulled something out of his bag. "A letter for you, Saber!" He stared down at the small envelope and took it.

His eyes snapped awake as he lay on his hardwood bed with a rolled up shirt for a pillow. "Sigh....another amazing dream ruined by strangely dressed men with quirky personalities....better than Tingle I suppose..." He sat up and rubbed his eyes, waiting for them to focus. Once they did, he stood and looked around, and saw it. There was a letter sitting on the counter, apparently someone had come overnight and decided not to wake him. "I wonder if this is...." He mumbled as he read it over."Yes, it is. So then, North of the Deku Village....I suppose I'm off then." He spent a few minutes packing up his weapons, armor, and the rest of his supplies he liked to have on hand. He hauled the stuff out the door and placed an 'Away' sign on the counter, then continued off towards his next job.

OOC: He is still here, just added that last bit for roleplaying purposes. So anyways, if you want to give another job he is here waiting and I will still be checking this topic.

A chilly wind started to blow throughout the desert sands of Tantari. It spread out fast, and the eye of the wind seemed to be the Tantari Cafe. Sandstorms began, and a feeling of despair started to fill the desert travelers - were they going to get out alive? It seemed like darkness itself had settled in. Peculiarly, the resting establishment seemed to be the only calm place in the whole region, as much as its patrons never noticing a thing. They all proceeded in drinking beverages and eating their meals calmly, as if they didn't have a care in the world. This illusion soon halted, as a knock at the door was heard. Intrigued, the people looked somewhat anxiously at the door as to hope to see who was the next weary traveler to drop by and have some free time with them. The door opened, their mouths stood agape.

Entering the resting areas was a Hylian woman, with quite gorgeous shapes. Her hair was a of a mysterious blond, shining and somewhat seducing, that came as far as her hips. It was somewhat fine and straight, but she enjoyed twirling some with her finger, as if they were curly locks. Her emerald eyes were not deceiving, and many other eyes collided with hers. Unusual colour, unusual lady as she had a mysterious past. Her reddish lips were also very beautifully designed, as if she had no flaws whatsoever. Her skin, like most Hylians, was also pale, yet she didn't have in distortions at all. No zits, no holes, no nothing: it was smooth and soft, as she emitted a sense of purity. her bodily shapes were also firm - she was thin, though not exaggeratedly skeletal, and her hips were curvy and smooth. Still, her clothes were also quite remarkable. Wearing a gallant long dress, of a yellow and green gradient - yellow on bottom, green on top - with frills and two golden bracelets over her sleeves with emeralds encrusted on them, and shining green shoes, she was enjoying life as if she was a princess. Her age denounced no more than eighteen years of age, though no younger than that either. Immediately as she got in, all eyes were on her, awing for the beauty that had just entered. She payed them no mind, giggling just softly, her voice sounding melodic and somewhat enchanting, as those who heard it entered a trance.

She walked slowly towards the Mercenary Booth, her steps being completely controlled by the drunken patrons, who had just stopped their feast - cups down, forks and knives down on the plate - just to look at her. Some drooled over her, others who had more self-control didn't, but still couldn't stop watching. She was Queen of the Cafe, and the innocent-looking lady knew it. Approaching the counter, her lips finally parted, as her magical voice sounded again. "Excuse me, this is where I can hire a mercenary, correct? I'm looking for one to do a job for me." - she spoke - "My name is Naina."

OOC: The booth is actually outside, Dream Illusionist, but I suppose we could actually have a small booth indoors for bad weather and such...maybe just a counter or table. Anyways...

IC:Saber was leaning back in his chair, shooting small seeds out from between his nails as he waited for his food to come. Free meals certainly were great for a man on the move like him. He was deep in thought, trying to figure out a way to raise funds so that he could go on a small vacation. His mind eventually drifted to memories of his father, of his childhood, all the good times he had had.

One time, for example, his father and mother had taken him sledding when he was barely a few years old, up in the mountains. He remembered how his dog, Jessie, would follow him around and try to hop on the sled. Every little turn and bend would throw the husky sheepdog off due to her own inertia. He remembered that one particular trip down the slope, Jessie had fallen into a rabbit hole, and a swarm of leverets and parent rabbits came scrambling out from beneath the canine.

The blissful, dreamy look on his face disappeared suddenly, replaced by fear and shock. Rabbits. An image forced the other, happy memories aside and became fixed front and center. It was a curved ellipse....a red one.....a rabbit's foot made of blood. Other images started to flash by. A Merchant in Castle Town, laying face down, the haunting insignia seeming to project from the back of his neck, then--

"Excuse me, this is where I can hire a mercenary, correct?"

The sentence shattered the wall of images before Sabertache's eyes, and he stared straight forward, blinking, at the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. He took in her image with wide open eyes, his mouth hanging open for a second before he snapped it shut and blinked. "Hmm...y-yes, you can get a mercenary here....me, in fact, I'm the sole employee and owner of Tantari Mercenary Services...The title, it...it must be decieving, yes? Sorry, but I'm it...sorry if you're disappointed.."

Quit babble, you idiot! Called a harsh voice from the back of his mind. You could lose business! Besides, if you want to get the girl, you won't do it by looking stupid! Saber straightened up immediately, his chair resting on all fours and his face assuming a nonchalant expression. His eyebrows raised a tad as he crossed his arms. "So then, how can I help you?....Naina..."

OoC: Sorry, didn't get that before ._.

Oh... and if you contacted with many RPers OoC... they would tell you to turn now, and run. Fast. XD

IC:

Hearing the Mercenary's shocked and disgruntled reply, Naina just smiled at him, her hair waving in the slight currents that had settled in the Cafe. A marvelous sight to behold, the men in the tables drooling harder, some looking towards Saber with bloodlust in their eyes. Why was he the one to escort the fine madam? Outrageous. Naina didn't seemed phased at all by such behaviour. In fact, it seemed like she had witnessed it often, and continued to disregard the 'lowlife' at the tables. She continued to address Saber, with a very interested expression. "Wow, must be tough doing this all on your own. But don't think I'll spare you any troubles with this job!" - she said, grinning happily, winking at the Hylian. Some of the patrons effectively fell out of their seats in ecstasy, but not even then they deserved a look from her. "But don't worry." - she added - "The rewards will also be quite... generous." She giggled a bit, looking at the young mercenary. Though it wasn't like she could go calling others 'young'. She was merely eighteen, after all!

She tilted her head closer to the mercenary, closing her eyes. There was complete chaos in the tables surrounding the place - grunts of shock and dismay sounded loud and clear. She was going to kiss him?! However, even if it was the mercenary's illusion, it was only that. Not desiring others to hear the contents of the mission, she just neared closer to disclose the facts. "Well... um, there's this pretty artifact that I'm really interested in, though it already belongs to a kid. It's really ancient, and has this mysterious uncanny powers - I'd give anything to have it. So, my mission is quite simple. I'd like you to steal said item from the kid." - she confided, looking pleadingly at the Hylian. "However, he's a mage and is usually accompanied, so it won't be that easy." - she added. Leaning back, she placed her index finger over her mouth, and acquired a pensive look. "As for reward, um... What do you say to... 2000 rupees?" - she told him, smiling gently. "I'll tell you more about it if you accept."

Saber tried to fight off the expression of awe that was tempting to emerge at the sight of the beautiful woman's wink. She's around my age...yes...but no. Strictly business, at least for now...even then, I must remain courteous, I wouldn't want to be like those dogs over there..He glanced angrily over at a particularly rude drunk who had just howled. No, must be a gentlemen...just the way father taught me to be...

The giggle just about laid him flat. She was beautiful, around his age...Damn you, hormones, settle down and let me hear the details! He willed to himself as he forced the serious expression to remain. Then, she leaned in. His face flushed and he leaned back slightly--he had never been kissed before, and he felt like he was about to faint. Thankfullly, she stopped a few inches away, and he heard the details despite his frolicking mind. "J-job taken," He started, swearing at himself silently as he tried to get rid of the stutter that had reappeared. "So w-would you like to discuss the details somewhere more private?" As soon as the last word left his mouth he grimaced and flushed even more. "I-I don't m-mean...Not like....H-how about outside?" His eye twitched as he swore himself out internally.

OoC: Indeed he is. In the great words of Naina... Kya-hahahahahahahahahahaha!

IC:

Noticing Saber's apparent discomfort, the female giggled once more, not taking seriously the mention of moving somewhere private. "Yes, outside will do nicely." - she remarked, winking once more, as to make sure her charm would fully work. Facing the door, turning her back on the mercenary she had just hired, she moved away from him towards the wooden gate of the cafe, every step of hers bewitching any male patron of the cafe. If those other humanoids weren't so fully entranced by her dazzling looks, they would have noticed her lips slowly curling upwards into a grin, one with not so pure intentions... maybe this female wasn't so innocent as she seemed? This fact, however, remained completely oblivious to Saber, as her face was hidden to him at the moment. Reaching the door, and to just render everyone flat, she turned her head towards the Hylian, her hair floating in an entrancing manner, as if they were the wind themselves, glittering at the sunlight. "Coming?" - she asked sweetly, before returning to her initial position, suppressing a cackle.

Reaching outside, and waiting for the mercenary to follow, she closed the door to the cafe afterwards, locking it firmly with magic. Even if this movement astonished Saber, he'd soon know the reason why. "So... you'll do it, right?!" - she exclaimed excitedly, clapping her hands once and raising her left leg as much as her green princess-like dress allowed. "Here's what you need to do. In these lands there's a little kid named Tayro, who carries a jewel of a value he knows not of. He has brown messy hair and a blue cloak, and is probably the only fifteen-year old mage you'll see around with those details. What I'm looking for is a blue pearl he carries with him." - she explains, slowly as to make sure he'll get every detail. She pauses a bit to smile at him, as to fumble with the man's feelings. "He has been seen around a mage named Alpha, a Nomad named Blank, a Ranger named Pyre and a samurai named Dogura, pointing out a few names. I'm sure you'll be able to beat them all and get me my pearl, won't you, my hero?" - she inquired, adding the last part as to further mesmerize the poor Hylian. "You will, won't you? Thank you so much!" - she added, not even letting him reply.

"In that case... here's a little extra from me..." - she said, as she moved closer to Saber, her head slightly hung low as she faked embarrassment. Then, entwining her hands with his, pressing firmly but sweetly, she leaned over, sealing their deal with a soft mesmerizing kiss on the lips, her eyes closing in fake delight. And there they remained for a few moments, perhaps unaware of the constant banging on the door from the other patrons in rage, desiring the female as well. However, had the mercenary not been so careless, he wouldn't now be in this precarious situation, more dangerous than it seemed. Had he never heard that pretty roses have thorns? Now he was about to be spiked... greatly. Had the seventeen-year-old try to part ways now, he would have found it impossible, as a strange feeling started flowing from his mouth to the rest of his body, skintone growing paler at the second. On his neck, a black necklace started to materialize out of nowhere, a green emerald at its core. Naina then moved away from the Nomad, as she let her magic work the rest. Saber's eyes soon turned darker, and soon, unconsciousness would drip in... him becoming a mindless zombie to the female. "Kya-hahahahahahaha! You really didn't think I liked you, did you? Drop dead, idiot! You're just my little doll who's gonna be a nice servant and bring her mistress her most precious item, you hear?" - she mocked, not restraining her laughter.

In a few seconds' time, Sabertache was no longer himself, standing up and moving not by consciousness, but fed by the Nightmare's magical energies. Extending her arms outward, the wind started blowing more savagely once more, and soon, a small gale had formed itself around her and her little toy, the Cafe shaking wildly, struggling to remain in place. In the midst of the harsh winds, a maniacal laughter could be heard, and a few seconds later, the wind had died, and both the General and the adventurer had disappeared.

(After the event with Tayro)

Four men walked out of the forest, they were all wearing cloaks with their hoods up. As they walked up stand. "Hello, Saber," drawled out the only one with a mask. His mask was fairly simple, it had slits for eyes and no nose or mouth. It was white, except on the cheeks were there was blue flames painted on. As for the other three, the only thing noticeable under their hoods were their eyes. On had demonic eyes, one had anxious, almost greedy eyes, and the last one had eyes that showed he could care less to be here.

"I hope you're the Tantari Mercenary," he said, already knowing it was true. He took out a envelope and he began the process of handing it to him.

Saber barely realized what was happening as he was led out of the Cafe--His eyes were on the back of the woman in front of him, her beautiful figure swaying before him, her hair whipping from side to side, the most lovely scent wafting from her and drowning out the various pugnant smells of the drinkers around the place. He saw her lock the door without registering the motion--She probably just didn't want those dirty men all over her. His eyes nearly popped out of his sockets and ran up her leg as she lifted it, and he did what he could to restrain himself from taking action. As she explained the details, he barely noticed the names, although as soon as he heard Dogura, the smallest bit of doubt started to creep into the back reaches of his mind. He's my friend! He screamed, but the roar came out as a squeal in the midst of his intense fascination, the beautiful woman's antics doing their job perfectly.

His heart nearly ripped a hole in the breast of his tunic as he suddenly found himself pressed against the woman, her perfect lips playing on his half-open, awed ones, everything lost in his pure mesmerization. Then the transformation begin. He felt it strongly at first, this strange sensation of...well, he wasn't sure, he had never experienced it before. However, it started numbing, and as she insulted him, he realized why. He felt almost nothing now, but not because it had stopped--He had lost posession of himself, if that were possible. In less than a minute, he was gone, taking on the wretched form caused by the magic, his already abnormally pale skin getting only whiter, and totally contrasting with the gaudy accessory that not even Impa would wear. And then, he was gone.

Saber was laying back on a makeshift chair, with three legs jutting out at uneven angles and a back made of rotting planks with nails sticking out in random places. His feet were up on the counter, and he was working slowly at a small twig with a knife. He was carving out a small hole in the end when he heard a voice right in front of him. Surprised, he dropped his legs down, and the sudden shift in weight caused the chair to break, collapsing in a heap of lumber and rusty nails. Saber rolled up as soon as he hit the ground, leaning against the side of the count and plucking a nail casually from his elbow. "Yes, I'm the Tantari Mercenary." He said briefly, flicking the detached piece of iron over his shoulder and looking at the masked man who had spoken. "May I help you?"

"Yes, you may, Saber," spoke the masked man again, in a more happy tone. He tossed the envelope to Saber. "We have a job for you," explained the one with the anxious eyes. Then the man with the demonic eyes took over, he even had a demonic tone, "Saber, in the envelope, you will find pictures of our intended target. We want you to bring her to us... alive. You will be payed 740 rupees if you can accomplish this for us. Consider this also as a test. As for what the test is, don't worry about that now, just get the job done." They stood around, and waited for Saber to ask any questions.

Inside the envelope was the picture of an oddly colored hawk. There was another picture of a doe, again, oddly colored. Lastly, there was a picture of a young woman, a young woman who was side by side with Orpheous, her arm was drapped over his shoulder.

Saber reached up a hand cooly to catch the envelope professionaly. Everything went as planned, except for a slight factor he hadn't accounted for--Envelopes had sharp corners. As he closed his fingers around it, his eye twitched ever so slightly and he bit his lip. He slowly placed the envelope on the counter and eyed his hand sneakily. He had cut part of teh webbing between his thumb and forefinger, and it was starting to bleed. I'll have to get some poultice...He began to think before a harsh voice met his ears. He looked up at the demonic man who was speaking now, registering the details of the mission. He let out a low whistle at the sum, and cocked an eyebrow at the mention of a test. That sounds like a steady contract...good...A constant pay would be nice...

He fingered the flap on the envelope for a bit before it opened, and looked at the pictures carefully. What, are these animals diseased? He pondered as he looked at the pictures, then recognized the figure of a young boy in the third. "What relation has she to Orpheous?" He asked calmly, eyeing the masked leader. He had not met this woman before, but if it put Orpheous in harm's way, he didn't know if he could go through with it...

"Don't play dumb with us, Saber," stated the masked man. "Do we have to spell it out for you? T-H-A-T W-O-M-A-N I-S S-I-L-N-A. That woman is Silna." While he explained this, he kept his cool, being as patient as possible. "She has to ability to shape shift, as shown by the first few pictures. We came to you because we believe you can pull this off. Tell you what, we'll give you 1,000 rupees if you can pull this off. That's right, we raised the payment. If you do a clean job, we might raise it again. I know it may be morally corrupt in your mind to do this, but we intend no harm for her. Also, you must not let Orpheous know you took her." He thought to himself for a few seconds, and then waited for anymore questions.

OOC: The payment is strictly RP, but still... I'm sure that the character Saber would be slow to turn this down, if he turned it down at all. 1,000 rupees is a lot in the world of Hyrule. Even Dogura was crippled to these guys' deals. Consider them business zealots.
