Having heard stories of an injured Roc, Raven arrived and searched the area. What he found was what he had expected. Looking down at his feet he saw feathers which had fallen from the bird, either from it's fall or from people hurriedly grabbing the feathers before leaving, he also was the bird head severed and a pool of blood on the ground.

I wondered if someone might put you out of your suffering. He thought as he looked down at the bird. I guess this is the closest I'm going to get without fearing for my life, he thought looking at the bird's razor sharp talons. Raven bends down to pick up a couple of feathers from the fallen bird. He turns a feather in between his fingers as he watches the light reflect off it as if it were gold. 'Such a beautiful thing, from such a deadly bird.' He says almost slilently as he puts them away.

He looks a the Roc one last time before he walks away, knowing that it is likely that next time he will see one as close is as it dives at him to cut him apart with its talons; but until that day he would like to remember it as nothing more that a bird, with some of the most beautiful feathers he has seen.

Cloud was walking around for lack of anything better to do when he saw the Roc. "Hmm, now what was that rito kid saying...oh yes he wanted a roc's feather" Cloud walked over to the screeching bird and plucked a tail feather from it. The bird screeched again and Cloud ran off before it decided to attack him.

Walking toward the ranch, completely exhausted, Blank spots an injured Roc. As he gets closer, it begins to squawk and thrash wildly, releasing a cloud of feathers. Blank reaches out and grabs one in midair and dahses away, obviously worried that the Roc bird could give a burst of energy and attack him at any given minute.

I'll keep this with me.... for a while. I may find some use for it. Or maybe someone'll buy it off me... Heh.

Takes fether

I Will Make Shure no one will kill this bird, Even If It Kills Me, As Long As The Bird Is Safe. This Fether Will Remind Me Of My Duty Of This Bird Until It Is Better.

Edit: To both Sangri and Link909, please do not double post. I have combined both of your posts together; you two can always edit your last comment to avoid double posting.

by Nogare, son of Greyblade
As Nogare is travelling, doing as he was, he came upon the suffering Roc. He had seen pictures ofn Rocs during his studies, and had known much about them, but this one was only a baby, due to it's size. Most Rocs would shadow the entire feild, but this roc was only very young, and was about only Nogare's height. He knew he needed to help it. He calmed the beast, as it was silently crying before. He camled it with soothing Hylian words. "Taizen, roc. Warawa korede. Warawa tomodachi." (Calm, roc. I am here. I am your friend). The Roc whinned, but remained silent and calm. When it was still, Nogare placed his placed his hands over it's head, and began to speak the ancient langage again. "Aminolia. Timanangala." (Simple Hylian Healing words.) At this time, he used his LV 1 Healing spell to try and heal it. All Hylians have one, even if they are not a scholar. When the spell was done, the roc was still weak, but it would survive longer than if he didn't come. "Yasuragi. Kokugen dearou nozoite omaesan." (Be at peace. Time will heal you) And with that, he walked away, leaving the beast alone. As Nogare turned back to see it, and it looked back at him, sad. He took a deep breath, and walked away.

Nogare's face turns toward Link. "Oh, I didn't see you there. You're welcome, but... which time do you speak of? There were a number of times..." many of his thought were more on the Roc, though...

While wandering through the vast, green fields of Hyrule, Brin comes upon the bird that is screeching and flapping. He sees that its wing is injured. Although Brin knows that Rocs can be evil and harmful, he has a kind heart, and wishes to heal the bird. With what little magic he knows, he whispers a magic spell in an unknown language. It soothes the bird's panic, and the wing starts to heal gradually. His deed done, Brin walks off in search of adventures.

OOC: Sorry to ruin everyone's fun with the Roc, but Grenada killed the bird a long time ago(it's been over a year). It's not alive. I want to thank Red for noticing, but everyone afterward... *shakes head*
