Worru looked at Kanji for a moment, trying to process what he had said. When he found he couldn't, he just shrugged and followed, knowing that the first trial awaited hi-I mean, them, since Kanji and Setzer have been so helpful on the mission.

Setzer pushed the door open, and walked into the room. It was a huge, empty area with torches along the wall. Three large circles had been drawn in blood on the floor, as well as the desighs in them. "Looks like the three seals to me..." the gambler said as Kenji studied each one. "We should have brought a mage with us...these are far to complex for me to understand..." he said quickly.

"What's to understand?" asked Worru, looking them over. "Just use water and a little soap. Always gets blood out, I promise." he said, already making a little ball of water in his hand.

Setzer and Kenji stood back from the seals, and Worru. "I'd rather not be the one to use magic on one of these...but if you want to..." he said as Kenji looked around the room, looking for anything unusual...

"I was JOKING. Yeesh, get a sense of humor, guys. We're only in a mansion owned by a demonic sword-possesed guy." he said, making the ball of water evaporate into the air.

"Look at this..." the Samurai said as he motioned to the wall, where a small sigh of bronze was nailed to the wall. "That wasn't there before." Setzer said as he read it outloud.

These tasks I set upon you, to see if you may win,
First is fire, the primal force of nature.
Second, Lightning, the sky's angry child,
and third, the darkness of the heart...
To break the seals and win my blade, you must do, or remain,
a slave to my darkness...

Worru looked at the sign, trying to understand what the sign meant. "Fire, lightning, and darkness...Would it kill people to try and not be cryptic when they make signs?" he asked.

Setzer stood on the seal closest to the door. "If it says Fire's first, then we'll use it on this seal." he said as he pointed his hand down and an angery fireball hit the ground, and the seal opened into a portal, sucking Setzer into it.

"Women and children first." said Worru looking over at Kenji, then jumping into the portal as well.

OoC: um...edit your post Worru, the portal is already open.

IC: Kenji followed and found himself laying in a pile on top of Worru, who had landed on Setzer.

"Thanks for breaking my fall." said Worru, before lifting his head. "And, here's an idea: Get off me before someone sees." he said. In the position they were in, many things could be said.

OoC: I did...now edit yours!

IC: "GET OFF ME!" Setzer yelled as Kenji got up and checked to see where they where. The new room was long and totaly white. The tiles, the chairs, the walls, and even the single carpet that went from one end of the room to the other was white. No torches burned in this room, for the light seemed to eminate from the walls.

Worru got off Setzer, looking around the room as well. "What do we do here? Paint?" he asked.

"The riddle said fire was the Test, So I guess we'll-" Setzer was cut off when one of the small demon children aproched. Did you come to PLAY with me? she said as her black hair began to stand on end. Her red eyes shone with a playfull glow as she giggled at Worru.

Worru looked at the little girl, then shot behind Setzer. "No, but these guys love to play with little girls." he said, pushing Setzer to the little demonic spawn.
