The blade rushes through him, his eyes grow, glow, then, burst...
Denning staires at him with dis belief.
"My creation, my great servent, no!!! I will not have this!"
Joryen ruches up then stabs Denning with a crystal dagger. Denning looks at him and says"Its, you..." he then falls over and is knocked out.

Victor yanks his dagger out of the corpse and made a vain attempt at wiping off some of the excess blood. Sheathing it, he turned just in time to watch Joryen stab Denning. Seeing the Shiekah's body go limp, Victor ran over. Looking at Joryen, he said:

"Is he...dead?"

"it depends on who you mean, Deoxolips was never Denning, Denning was always whole. This was a trick by Daret, the same he did to me, the dagger is called The Extracter, it takes away forces that do not belong in the body, such as evil spirits, like Deoxolips, it also makes you immune to that thing, Denning will never become this again. You did good, distacting Evan, it gave me a perfect cahnce to use it, Denning will be fine. IF yo;u would like to discuss anything, I rekon we should get to somewere a little, cozy."

Happy that Denning was fine, Victor's smile returned to his face. Filled to bursting with questions, he was eager to leave the wretched cave:

"Ok, where should we go, then? The Ornery Cucco, or somewhere else?"

"Alright then, hey wheres Marin?"
If you look around, you see Marin is gone.
"Anyways, Denning should be back to himself soon, lets get going he will come along eventualy."
Joryen puts the limp body over his shoulder.
