OOC: Soooo, before I post (I'll do that sometime in the next 2-ish days), I suppose y'all would want to see, you know, all your stuff not being lost.
I lucked out, my Firefox browser saved the original version.
It's not formatted correctly, and it's not -all- there, but at least now those hours of writing haven't gone to waste. Who da man?

As Katsuro approached the far side of the drawbridge, the sound of battle grew louder and more ominous. He would have expected to hear shouting; perhaps rallying battle cries or the sound of orders being yelled across the battlefield. Instead all he heard was the hallow clanging of metal up on metal, and unsettlingly frequent screams of pain.
The fog was very thick on the far side of the drawbridge. All around him, Katsuro could only see clearly perhaps twenty feet in any direction; beyond that it was difficult to make out much more than blurry shapes and shadows moving through the mist. Anything further out than fifty feet might as well have been invisible. From what he could see, though, it was easy to see how so many creatures could have slipped past the soldiers and across the drawbridge - they were almost hopelessly outnumbered. There were at least two or three monsters to every soldier there... and Katsuro soon found out why.
As the Sheikah's eyes flitted around the battlefield, he saw two soldiers standing back to back, fighting off several monsters at once. As one of the soldiers was blocking a swing from a nearby Stalfos, a Stalhound came at him from below, knocking him to the ground and allowing the Stalfos to get in the killing blow.
But that wasn't the end of it.
Only moments after the soldier's death, Katsuro felt a wave of magical energy pulsate across the field, and the soldier that had just met his untimely end rose up from the ground, his eyes glowing with necromantic energy. The Redead Knight - for that's what the soldier had become - immediately turned and ran the other soldier through with it's sword. Within seconds, that same wave of dark energy coursed through the battlefield a second time, and soon both soldiers were standing there as Redead Knights, joining the other monsters in the hunt for anything living.
As Katsuro continued to look around for any information as to what was happening and why, he felt that dark pulse several more times in the course of the next few minutes. He couldn't see the creatures being raised, but he could be almost certain that's what it was for. After a few more pulses, he was able to pinpoint a source of the magical waves. It seemed to originate little further off to the east, presumably at the back end of the invading Redead army. Whatever - or whoever - they were looking for, it was back there.
Captain Shem's eyes widened when he turned around to see Kasei. Of course. Kasei. How could I forget? He walked up to the Sheikah and extended his hand.
"Kasei, good to see you again. I don't think we were very well acquainted, but I remember you leading some of our forces in the Civil War not too long ago. There's a lot of people who think you're dead... though I'm glad to see they're wrong." He said with a smile. He did not say anything about the change in the Rebel Flame's appearance. "In any case, I'm honored to fight alongside you once again, especially for such... grave circumstances." The twitch at the edge of his lips gave away the fact that he had been completely intentional with his pun. Perhaps Kasei's presence was reassuring enough to relax the captain a bit?
Shem was about to say something else when a sound caught his ears. He furrowed his brow and strained to listen and see what it was. He didn't have to try very hard - it was getting louder.
It was the sound of a hundred or more horses galloping along the stony roads towards the gate. Shem smiled.
The cavalry was coming.

Kasei nodded his head, shaking the captains hand. "I suppose I should apologize formally for that...for various reasons, I had to go underground after the war. Personally, I'm just glad that so many people have helped turn the South into a safer region for everyone." He meant the statement completely; were it not for the valiant efforts of many soldiers and adventurers, victory over the exiles would have been meaningless, as Ganon's hordes would have simply amassed again, under a new leader, to wreak havoc across the land. Noticing a wave from nearby, he turned and saw Simon, an old acquaintance, was also taking part in this battle. Kasei returned the wave, silently reminding himself to ask Simon about where Orpheous and the others might be, before returning his attention to the captain.
Still Shem wrote:

At this, the Rebel Flame allowed himself a smile and a light chuckle at the joke, and even Denkou seemed to catch on, smiling despite his clear distaste for the situation he was now stuck in. "Don't worry, I have a bone to pick with any who would disturb the peace." Kasei responded lightly.
Before either of them could continue the conversation, both Kasei and Denkou turned to the sound of galloping cavalry. Good, it's best to go into this fight with as much assurance as we can muster...still, it'd be nothing short of foolish to charge into the fray without any comprehension of what lies in wait. The Sheikah mused, before turning back around and stepping closer to the bridge. "Katsuro!" He called out, "What's going on over there?"

Dammit all to hell.
Katsuro thought as he pulled his hood down and listened to the sounds of the battle.
It sounds as if all order has fallen apart within their ranks. I haven't heard anyone call any orders across the field- no sounds of a captain. They must have fallen apart as a unity entirely.
The man decided that it might be too dangerous to get any closer. Soon thereafter, he realized exactly why he was correct. He watched anxiously as a fallen soldier's corpse jerked back to life and turned on its former comrade. What's more- an ominous pulse of fell magic sweeping over the battlefield every couple of moments.
That magic... It's giving me chills. I've seldom felt this kind of energy before...
As he watched the battle continue, he realized slowly that a pulse of that energy washed over the battlefield every time one of Shem's soldiers returned to life under new orders.
That tears it. It's definitely a necromancer back there calling the shots. If that's the case...
His eyes struggled to pierce the fog further, but to no avail. He swallowed as he watched more soldiers turn. He swallowed hard and pulled his hood back over his head, retreating back into a shadow.
I've got to get this information back to Shem.

"Katsuro! What's going on over there?"
Katsuro popped out of the earth and landed softly in front of the group. "Well if it isn't Kasei. I'm touched you recognized me- wish I could say the same." He smiled as he extended his arm in a roman handshake. "Good to see you again, brother- though, you're not as pretty as I remember." He said jokingly. "We'll have to talk, but later. Shem, we've got problems." His tone turned more serious as he faced the knight.
"It's worse than we feared. The detachment sent across the drawbridge has lost its foothold on the battlefield; there doesn't appear to be a chain of command anymore. Every soldier is fighting for the man at his back. They're vastly outnumbered."
He turned his eyes back towards the fog across the bridge.
"... That's not all, though. For every one of our soldiers that falls, they add to their ranks. I saw men fall in a bloody heap, and after a strong magical pulse, they got back to their feet and turned on their former brothers..." His eyes turned to Kasei, "No doubt you felt those pulses... Every time you feel that dark magic sweep across the battlefield... Even now- they're adding more of our fallen soldiers to their army."
He turned to Simon and extended a hand, "I'll be taking those vials now. We need to start moving now. Those men up there are fighting a losing battle and the longer we wait, the harder our fight is going to become." He tucked the vials into his pocket and turned back to Shem, "But that's not all that I have to report."
He lifted his thumb and forefinger to his jaw and massaged it gently as he closed his eyes; the kind of look one gets when they feel a headache coming on.
"The dark pulses of magic... They were coming from one specific area, I'm sure of it. I'm certain I don't have to spell it out for you..." He sighed and dropped his arms. "You guessed it. A necromancer; a bloody powerful one, at that. When we carve through the army of our own fallen friends... We've got that to deal with."
He brought his palm up to his eyes and massaged them as he pondered, "Hell... At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if were dealing with a full-on lich up there." He swallowed and pulled his hand down over his mouth, a sympathetic look coming over him.
"Those poor bastards up there... They've got no idea what they're dealing with... And maybe we don't either, but they've got an eeno's chance in hell without us. Who's ready to put these bastards back in the ground?" [Leadership - Agility]
Suddenly, Katsuro felt the rumbling under his feet and turned his eyes up towards the castle.
He turned to Shem, "Is that the...?" He said, seeing the look of confidence across Shem's face. And then he knew. He shared a smile with the knight, and unsheathed his sword as the galloping grew louder, the glow of the sword radiating powerfully.
"Took them long enough," he said half jokingly. "On your mark, Shem." He turned towards the bridge, ready for battle at the captain's order.

Simon stayed attentive to his surroundings, despite not contributing much at the moment. He gave a warm smile to firm ally, Kasei, who had returned his wave. But seeing as how the wartime General was still addressing the Captain, all the young scribe could do was listen. At least Shem's spirit was up.
Then Katsuro returned from his reconnoitering; with the Sheikah came his report. With every fallen soldier there was one more enemy to fight? Surely, these odds would be staggering. Then, the son of Dogura asked Simon for the vials. Simon didn't waste time, and he handed them over immediately, still treating them as delicately as he could. "There you are," he commented as he did so, as if to say he fulfilled the expectations to the letter.
"I agree, we need to depart as soon as possible." In alignment with Katsuro's thinking, the longer they delayed the stronger their enemy would become. Yet, the Sheikah continued to speak, and things grew grimmer still. There was a very powerful nercromancer leading this army, and he might just be a lich. The tension Simon was feeling was palpable. The sooner they could at least rush out to meet his foe, the less he would have to fear it. Still, Katsuro's bravery seemed pretty unshakable, at least to Simon. It gave him the determination to be swift and decisive. He would have started to run out into the battlefield now, but he too heard the rumbling that caught him off guard.
The cavalry had arrived, and Simon reveled in Shem's beaming smile. Still, with hundreds of horses rushing at him Simon made a rather intelligent decision. Realizing he wasn't going to outrun a horse, Simon moved to hugne of the buildings along the side of the stone thoroughfare. He was still prepared to join his comrades in battle though, he would just have to follow behind the horsemen.

Shem's lightened countenance didn't last very long - as Katsuro detailed all that he had seen out in the field, the smile on Shem's face slowly melted away into grim determination once again.
"Din's fire - it's worse than I feared." He said, staring at the stony streets. He was somber for a moment before he shook his head and looked back up at the group. "Well. That just means we have to get out there and get this done fast - I don't want to lose another soldier." He growled, his grip tightening on his spear.
"And we won't, if we have anything to say about it!" Came the call from behind them. At that moment, the reinforcements rounded the corner and galloped into the courtyard. It was an entire company of soldiers - at least one hundred men - all armed to the teeth and ready for battle. At the head of the company rode a soldier in bronze colored armor, with a red cape billowing behind him and a fierce-looking spear clutched in his hands.
"Lieutenant Drommlin! You finally decided to show up." Shem said, staring down the approaching company as they slowed to meet him. Drom - for that's who it was - brought his horse to a halt and swiftly dismounted in front of the captain, going into a bow as his feet hit the floor. "Captain." He said, with his arm across his chest. Shem nodded, and Drom moved to be at ease. He glanced at Kasei briefly and temporarily seemed surprised to see him there before gathering his composure again.
"Bad news, Lieutenant." Said Shem, assuming his more authoritative voice. "We've got an army of undead creatures knocking on our front door. The Outer Patrol is out there keeping them at bay for the moment, but they're not gonna last much longer. Thanks to some expert reconnaissance by the young Shadowclaw here," He said, gesturing to Katsuro, "We know there's a necromancer out there somewhere who's putting us through all this - even raising our own dead against us." Drom raised an eyebrow at the mention of Katsuro's name, but didn't say anything. Shem continued, "The plan is to mount up and charge straight into the front of the opposing force, driving a wedge straight through the middle of them and giving us a clear path right to the big bad. If you and your men can hold off the oncoming horde, the five of us will deal with the necromancer, and hopefully bring an end to the conflict without too much more bloodshed."
"Yes sir!" Drommlin saluted, before turning and mounting back up on his horse, then offered a hand down to the Captain to let him up behind him. Four of the nearby soldiers offered to help the horseless heroes up onto their own mounts as they prepared to charge across the drawbridge.
"Alright men, you heard the Captain." Drom shouted back at the soldiers behind him. "No quarter given, no mercy shown! Let's send those monsters crawling back to the graves they came from!" He yelled. The soldiers behind him roared in agreement, raising their spears.
"For the Goddesses! For our comrades! And for the glory of Hyrule!" He bellowed. The men were in an uproar now.
"CHAAAAAAARGE!"
With a thunderous cacophony of voices and the beating of hundreds of hooves on the road, the company surged forward, underneath the gate, and across the drawbridge. Drommlin raised his spear in the air, and the tip began to glow with a brilliant white light. With a shout, Drom thrust the spear forward, and an explosion of light burst out of it and over the battlefield, burning away the fog and illuminating the field like the coming of dawn. With clear vision, the soldiers were able to swing their weapons with pinpoint accuracy, mowing down the monsters that got in their way and cutting a clean path straight through the heart of the undead force. All around them the shrieks of the monsters rang out in defiance, and the cheers of the few weary soldiers that were left could be heard as well - and the company pushed onward, through the creatures and towards the east.
The light emanating from Drom's spear provided the light the soldiers needed to hold off the undead horde, but the further east they travelled, the more it seemed like the light was being choked out - like they were entering an unnatural shadow. A feeling of dread began to wash over the company as they pressed on, as if they were being oppressed by an evil presence. Several hundred yards from the drawbridge, the light at the end of Drommlin's spear finally puttered out, like a candle in the wind, leaving only the light of the clouded moon overhead to illuminate their path as they continued to cut down the gibdos, redead, and stal-kind in their way.
They soon found what they were looking for.
Just ahead of them, the company could see a large, dark, shadow of a figure, with dim purple lights glowing faintly in various places around it's body. They were still a little too far away to see it clearly - but they had made it past the main force of the undead horde.
"This is our stop!" Shem shouted back at Kasei, Denkou, Simon, and Katsuro as he leaped off the horse and rolled to his feet, hoping the others would follow suit. Drommlin raised his spear again, and the hundred or so soldiers under his command split down the middle and turned north and south, creating a wall on either side of the five heroes.
"Do us proud!" Drommlin shouted as he disappeared into the fray.
As the five of them approached the dark figure, the cloud covering the moon began to move out of the way, allowing a little more light to light up the battlefield. What they saw might not have been exactly what they were expecting.
Standing before them was a large Goron several feet taller than the average male of it's species. Instead of orange skin and a rocky hide, this Goron had a dark brown skin and, most curiously, purple crystal-like formations in the place of the typical rocky exterior. His back was covered in the crystals, as well as his fists and the top of his head. In the center of his chest was a large purple gemstone, pulsing with a dark glow - the same glow that was emanating from his pupil-less eyes, very similar to the undead eyes of the creatures they had fought in the courtyard. He held no weapons, and wore no clothes, save for a loincloth around his waist. His mouth formed into a sneer as the adventurers approached.
Who dares defy the might of Shar-Guthal?
Came the deep, gravelly voice of the Goron. It boomed across the field, hitting the adventurers with almost a physical force.
"By the authority of King Harkinian II, we've come to put an end to your terrorization of the Hyrulean populace!" came the reply from Captain Shem. He spoke in the most threatening and ferocious way he could muster, but compared to the thunderous voice of the Goron before them, the captain sounded like a kitten meowing at a mountain lion.
You think the five of you can stand before the might of the Necromaster?
The Goron asked incredulously, before bursting into awful, booming laughter.
AHA HA HA HA HA! I think not. I have waited centuries to exact my revenge upon the Royal Family for what they've done to me - and I will not be defeated by a petty knight and his mewling companions.
So saying, Shar-Guthal brought his hand up to his chest to stroke the gem embedded there.
But, if you are so eager to die, I will be more than happy to oblige you.
The gem suddenly began glowing much brighter, and that same dark wave of dark energy that Katsuro had felt earlier pulsed out across the field. From the ground around the Goron came a handful of monsters, clawing their way out of the dirt and into the open air. [Will of Shar-Guthal]
Come then! Let me give you the death you seek!

Just before the cavalry was entirely upon them, Simon saw Shem's spirit break at Katsuro's report. If the Captain, an experienced military man who now doubt had seen the undead utilized like this before, was disheartened by the information, things might be a lot more hopeless than he had previously thought. The real question was what aspect did Shem find more troubling: the fact that the more knights fell the more powerful the enemy forces became or the possible nature of the commander on the other side of the battlefield? Simon himself shuddered to think at what opponent awaited them. He just wanted to charge out now and get it over with.
And, in perfect timing, the company of soldiers rounded the corner on their steeds. Simon examined the exchange between Drommlin and Shem. The name seemed to strike a chord with Simon, who studied the Lieutenant intently. Wasn't Drommlin the name of one of Leth's companions? Or perhaps Simon was mistaken, and he had just heard the name Drommlin because the man was clearly a well-respected lieutenant. Either way, Simon was sure he'd find out more information in the future. He edged closer once he realized they'd be riding the horses out. He wasn't too excited about the prospect; he had no experience in horse-back riding. Originally, he might have not have even tried to mount one of the horses if it hadn't been for the knight offering him assistance. He gave the soldier an embarrassed smile as it took two tries to get the scribe secure on the warhorse. While the whole thing made him sensitive about his lack of experience, he was extremely grateful for the help.
"Thanks," he called to the rider who had now gone back to his own horse. He didn't have time to think about that now though. For they were about to charge. Fortunately for him, the thundering noise of the horses breaking into a whirlwind of speed covered up his guttural scream of terror at the thought of being lurched off of the beast. Of course, he soon realized that his poise was fine, and thus quit screaming after four seconds at the most from when they started moving. Besides, there were greater fears, like who this necromancer was.
At least Drommlin's spear was projecting light for them. Being towards the back of the ranks, Simon found that any undead that he rode by had already been slain (or was it re-slain) by the knights leading the charge. That was fine with him. It meant he didn't have to use precious energy he needed to save for the fight. He also didn't have to adjust his position on the horse, which he was worried might cause him to fall off. Still, it was encouraging to see the undead falling so mercilessly to the attack.
It was only once the light started to dim that Simon's thoughts turned once again to the actual task at hand: reaching the necromancer. They must be growing nearer to the foe. And suddenly, through the fog and by the light of the moon, he saw the glowing specter. Hearing Shem call for a halt, Simon realized he had no idea how to stop the horse. He thought of all the verbal commands that came to mind. "STOP. HALT. Slow?" Still, it seemed the one phrase he could not think of was 'Woah!"
The horse continued, and Simon had no idea what to do with the reins. Luckily, since it was a warhorse, it realized that its fellow steads were coming to a stop, and so it too slowed down and eventually stopped. Simon had a bit of trouble dismounting and in the end, just fell off. He stroked the beast's head and ultimately decided it was better to walk away now before he did anything else to embarrass himself. Thus, he turned to greet the necromancer with his allies.
Upon first beholding the necromancer up close, he realized that this summoner was anything but a normal Goron. Something was severely wrong here. And then, the booming voice poured from the oddity, making Simon nearly jump out of his skin. So, his name was Shar-Guthal. At least they knew that much now. He listened as Shem gave the statement of facts. He almost wondered if there wasn't an implied ultimatum to the knight's formal message. Perhaps, if the terrorizing ceased Shar-Guthal would be spared (though no doubt taken for an extended stay in the dungeons).
There was the added bonus that Shar-Guthal called himself THE Necromancer, which was a very confident title to give to one's self. Surely there are other necromancers. Still, his powers seemed great, perhaps he had earned the right to be arrogant. After all, against him, even five capable fighters didn't seem like enough of a force. This was a necromancer who had summoned a massive fighting force akin to a small army. And then, Shar-Guthal made his comment that mixed everything up for Simon. It got those gears going in his head. Shar-Guthal had apparently lived through centuries of waiting to exact revenge on the Royal Family. Obviously, he thought that the Royal Family must have slighted him. But for him to have lived for thousands of years? Was it possible the Goron was dead?
The foe before them seemed corporeal, seeming every bit physically there just like the undead enemies he had just summoned to deal with these five intruders behind his front lines. Even with faced with four Redeads and two Gibdos and a necromancer threatening to overtake North Castle, Simon felt that knowledge was power. There was something beyond the fact that he was centuries old that made Simon believe that Shar-Guthal might be dead. His eyes seemed very similar to the type of enemies he was employing, dead and empty. Simon needed to know if this Goron was more of the affinity of the traditional Goron biology, or if perhaps he was more like the undead. He drew in all the details before him that he could observe about the necromancer, hoping partially to recall Shar-Guthal from a book he had read, a story he was told, or just the eclectic information a scribe just ends up obtaining through osmosis over the line of their work. If nothing could be learned of his history, then at least Simon might develop a working theory as to the weaknesses of this foe - if any [Insight Check - Shar-Guthal].
OOC: Getting this battle started off the wrong way - with a stalling action.

Drommlin. I won't forget that.
Katsuro thought as he looked the man up and down. Having a name like that in your back pocket could be very helpful someday.

"Bad news, Lieutenant. We've got an army of undead creatures knocking on our front door. The Outer Patrol is out there keeping them at bay for the moment, but they're not gonna last much longer. Thanks to some expert reconnaissance by the young Shadowclaw here, we know there's a necromancer out there somewhere who's putting us through all this - even raising our own dead against us."
When Drom turned in Katsuro's direction, he lifted his shield-hand and flicked his wrist for a small non-nonchalant wave. "The Overwatch is pleased to be of service." He stated firmly. Yeah. That sounded good.
Quote:
"The plan is to mount up and charge straight into the front of the opposing force, driving a wedge straight through the middle of them and giving us a clear path right to the big bad. If you and your men can hold off the oncoming horde, the five of us will deal with the necromancer, and hopefully bring an end to the conflict without too much more bloodshed."
When the knight atop his horse extended his armored hand down to Katsuro to lift him up onto the steed, the man grimaced. "Uhh... No thanks. I'll tag along from beneath." He began to sink into the ground as the lieutenant began his speech.
Quote:
"Alright men, you heard the Captain! No quarter given, no mercy shown! Let's send those monsters crawling back to the graves they came from! For the Goddesses! For our comrades! And for the glory of Hyrule!"
"CHAAAAAAARGE!"
With that, Katsuro dipped into the shadows, submerging himself in darkness. The thundering hooves above his head sent shivers down his spine, the cries of the rallied soldiers making his hair stand up on end. He propelled himself through the shadows under the horses and the battlefield. He heard the cheers of the soldiers whom thought themselves left for dead. A smile of confidence breached Katsuro's lips as he watched the scene unfold overhead as if through a one-way mirror. Drom's spear produced a magnificent light that cut through the fog and brought with it a form of hope that was damn near tangible.
That wasn't however, enough to draw Katsuro's attention away from the terrible power they were closing in on.
It's him.
Quote:
"This is our stop!"
He heard Shem confirm from above. He zipped through the shadows and angled himself upward, coming to a slow steady pace as he shadowmelded out of the earth and onto the battlefield. As everyone dismounted their horses gracefully or not, his eyes cut through the fog to observe the creature.
"It's... It's a..." He stammered, clearly shocked.
The Goron stepped into full view, much larger than any Goron he'd ever seen, save for Shigure, his grandfather's old war ally. Purple crystals jutted from the Goron's back, fists, and head as well as one large crystal that appeared to be embedded in his chest. His eyes were luminous with the same purple glow, and it was clear anyone with a magical backbone that this opponent was tremendously powerful.
"A Goron with this kind of magical control? I thought I'd seen everything."
He stated before the assailant began to speak; and speak he did.
Quote:
Who dares defy the might of Shar-Guthal?
Katsuro raised an eyebrow.
Shar-Guthal? That's not a Goronic name... That's...
Quote:
You think the five of you can stand before the might of the Necromaster? AHA HA HA HA HA! I think not. I have waited centuries to exact my revenge upon the Royal Family for what they've done to me - and I will not be defeated by a petty knight and his mewling companions.
Revenge upon the Royal Family? This... This couldn't be... Not possibly... Could it?
The man gritted his teeth as he contemplated several possibilities.
Quote:
But, if you are so eager to die, I will be more than happy to oblige you.
Katsuro gripped his sword and reaffirmed his stance as several undead abominations clawed their way out of the dirt, eager to serve their master. With the hum of dark magic surrounding them, and Shar-Guthal powering up for combat, Katsuro had to consider his situation for just a moment.
Oh, man. This is not how expected tonight to go. It was such a simple mission. How do I always end up in these situations? If only the captain were here... Why didn't I send for reinforcements when I had the opportunity? Gah!
He swallowed and stood up straight as Simon appeared next to him. He turned to see the man examining the Goron closely.
"Lemme know what you see, Simon. As for myself, I've got a hunch." He turned to the others, "When was the last time you guys saw a Goron cast a spell? They're just not made for it." He turned back to the monstrosity. "What separates this one from the others? I'm thinking it's got something to do with those crystals." He studied the giant closely as the undead summons were now on their feet and lurching towards them. "Furthermore... If any of you go down... You'll be getting back up under his command. Man, what a mess..."
Katsuro smiled and closed his eyes, "There's no turning back now. Too late for regrets." He opened them with a wild look in his eye. "Watch my back, father." He whispered as he bolted from his position, weaving in and out of the undead creatures, closing the distance between himself and Shar-Guthal at a surprising rate. While he failed to match the breakneck speed of his father, he was already upon the self-proclaimed Necromaster.
He disappeared into the ground, zigzagged, and exploded out from the earth directly in front of the Goron, his brightly glowing sword on a crash-course for the monster's chest-crystal.
"EAT THIS!"

Simon watched in awe as Leth slaughtered the Big Octo just as it was about the thaw. Saber meanwhile had managed to actually hit one of the Zolas judging by all the thrashing about. From what he could see, Simon hoped the Zola hadn't hit the Tantari Mercenary in retaliation. Then, he spotted the other two Zolas warming up their fireballs, and he immediately ducked out of the way, thinking they might be attacking him. After all, his work with the poem definitely seemed to be giving his allies the boost they needed. Too little, too late though, as Simon had failed to shout a warning at Leth who got nearly the full blast of their magical attacks.
Luckily, it seemed that their cleric ally knew some awesome healing abilities. It seemed Phineas got Leth healed back up nicely. He nodded to the cleric's work, finding a sort of solace in it. Then, to answer the man's question, he added, "He was swimming for one of the Zolas. It seems he probably landed a hit, but it's tough to say if there was any retaliation." Without pausing to waste another moment, he drew his boomerang from his belt and threw it in a wide ark, hoping to hit one of the Zolas that had attacked Leth [Attack - Deku Boomerang at Zola 2].
EDIT
OOC: This was for Group of Beasts, if you couldn't tell. I accidentally posted it here in a rush to get to work on time. I'll move it in about five hours, so please don't delete it before then. In the meanwhile, post around it. Expect typos, this edit was brought to you by a phone keyboard interface.
