I found this lantern by a skeleton and thought that it might be yours.

Malon, i was meandering the fields, where i saw this lantern next to a bovine quadruped. Here I believe that Lon lon is written on it.

Fair lady, on my ventures I came across a cow, and found this lantern. I knew it must be yours, as "Lon Lon Ranch" is inscribed in it. Deepest sorrows for the poor bovine, you have my sympathies if it was a loved animal.

Tayro enters the Ranch. He glances around, finding a girl singing a wonderful tune.

Quickly enticed by the song, he came closer to the girl.
"Hi there! You're a great singer, you know? That music is really enticing!"-he said with a smile, forgetting the reason why he came here in the first place.
He sits on a fence, whilst looking at Malon and her cows.
He then read a sign by the wall, in which was scribbled that a cow was missing, and that the cow had a lantern on her neck.

Tayro suddenly remembered why he came here on the first place. He had found a lantern labeled "Lon Lon". It was tied to the neck of a skeleton of what seemed to be an animal... now he knew it was the cow.
He really didn't want to give in the bad news, but... it had to be told...
He approached Malon.
"Erhm... I'm really sorry to say this, but... your cow... died. I found her skeleton with this lantern tied to her neck... I'm really sorry..."-he silently said, as he took a lantern from his cape, giving it to Malon.
