As he fits the wood into the correct spot, and prepares to leave, the axel snaps once more. "Drrrat!" he groans.

I found this wood. It was pretty easy to get down in the Deku Woods.

Waking in the morning, Nogare left the Traveller's Hostel from his sleep, and now continued his mission; to give the Goron the Deku Wood. He walked a little bit South into the Town Square‘s Busy streets, and saw the Goron. Sweating hard, after his day long trek, Nogare handed over the Deku bundle, but after witnessing what happened so many times before, was not sure he wanted to do so. He looked at the bundle, then the Goron, who was smiling and reaching his hands out for it. He is clumsy, and no doubt would ruin it right after giving it to him, but he knew it would be what his father would want him to. He handed over the Deku bundle, after a Deku Scrub had walked off, and he mumbled, trying to smile, "Here, Goron, but be sure not to break this one; you are surrounded by over forty Deku sticks. If I were you, I would get iron or something strong to hold the stagecoach together, lad. Or, if you wish to spend all of your days on this castle floor, that is fine.
And with that, the Goron gave Nogare the Membership, and he the Hylian Knight walked off, hearing the Goron's thanks in the background, and the 'snap', and the 'drat'. He gripped his staff harder. Obviously the Goron Heard nothing he had just said.

Tayro approached the Goron merchant.
He glances at the huge bag he's carrying, then at the Goron again.
Yeowch! He really must be strong if he can carry THAT...
After hearing the poor merchant's problem, he, a tad intrigued, replies.
"Deku Wood? Umm... Will this do?"-he asks, as he takes a bundle of Deku Wood out of his pocket.-"If it does, I'll be more than glad to give it to you."
