OOC: Well, you could have a few minutes ago, but not now. I am proud to announce that The Cursed Masks is likely to become an official event! That's right. If I get it confirmed with MG, then you'll get a TP at the end, which you'll deserve once you complete this long- winded dungeon. In the process, however, its becoming stat based, so Sovelis, no Tempest Blades, anyone else, no made up attacks. Spells cost SPL, damage takes HP. When you die, you need to be revived, so I hope someone has Ressurection or something like that. This begins as of now! I've got to go out, so I can't reply now. Check this thread sometime later this afternoon.

EDIT: can everyone make sure they have a link to their profile in the Travelers Hostel in their sig? It would be much easier for stat based battles.

P.S. Its weird. Most of the people participating in this event are mages...

As for your question, yes, there definetly will be.

Before we continue, I need clarify a few things: Sovelis, since you just used Fire, I'm going to ask MG what it does in stat battles. Leth, it would be nice if you could put your spell and weapon damage in either your profile or your signature. Azador, Cutting Wind isn't an official spell is it? If not, can you edit your post with an official spell, since its stat based?

OoC: the link in my sig i had, i never could get the link to my profile to work. i need to update my stats anyways...

OOC: Sovelis, you will have to cast something other than fire, until MG sorts it out. Anyway, lets continue for the time being.

IC:

The shower of rocks from Leth's Elemental Burst shoot right through the wings of one of the Keese. It deals 10 damage. The Keese falls limply to the ground, but there are still 19 more...

One of the Keese flaps toward Sovelis, and sinks its fangs into his shoulder. Sovelis takes 7 DMG, leaving him with 32 HP. The entire flock congregates into one roiling cloud of black wings, getting ready to mob everyone. Better get ready!

"Thunder!" yellls Brin. -12 SPL, 6 left. From out of nowhere shoot glowing bolts of electricity that tear through the cloud of Keese. You can smell singed wings. But the Keese keep coming.

OoC: left or right shoulder?
IC: Sovelis smashed his fist into the Keese, hopefully knocking it of.

OOC: What shoulder doesn't matter. And do you have unarmed combat? Otherwise I don't think you can punch in stat battles.

OoC: I do have it now...I hade enough extra TP or SP or whatever..

IC: Sovelis stomped on the Keese. "DIE YOU LITTLE RAT WITH WINGS!" he shouts.

Sovelis' attack inflicts 13 Damage! The Keese is destroyed. But now the entire flock swarms toward Sovelis, and attacks! Sovelis takes 20 Damage! (Has 12 HP left).

Brin whacks a Keese with his staff, knocking it dead. There are 17 additional Keese left!

"ELEMENTAL EXPLOSION-SACRIFICIAL STYLE!" he shouts as he casts the spell as close to the center of the swarm as he could.

OOC: Ah... but it's too late now, as these are now stat battles. Brin, I only get on every two or three days, it's very hard to keep up... don't know how it can be fixed, though...

IC: "CALM BEAST!" Yells Leth, using his ranger ability and directed it at the entire flock. *inate check to see if it worked*

OOC: Since there are a lot of Keese, I think Calm Beast should remove a few from battle.

IC: Calm Beast was successfully activated! Three Keese were removed from battle, but they will return in 3 turns!

Sovelis' Elemental Explosion's element is Water, and he looses 14 SPL. 5 Keese drop to the ground and three others take 8 Damage!

There are 12 Keese left, but 3 are stunned with Calm Beast.

One Keese flaps toward Brin, and repeatedly flaps its wings, creating a gust of wind that knocks him over.

"Ouch!" yells Brin, loosing 8 HP. He has 25 HP left.

Sovelis uses his scroll of life!

OoC: the scroll counts as a Life spell...

Sovelis' Life spell brings his HP up to 29. (12 [Current HP] + 19 [50% of max HP])

One of the Keese sends a gust toward Leth, dealing 8 damage. Another bites Sovelis with his poison fangs! Sovelis was poisoned! (I don't think this is a real status condition, but oh well.)

"WHY YOU LITTLE!" Sovelis grabed the Keese and crushed the life out of it.
