Seth held his head, the Tempest's mental shout like someone pounding on his brain. After a long period of silence he responded dully, I'm at the palace... Where are you?

Doubting me already? You're not very nice... You haven't even bothered asking if I could help any.

Morendo studied Sovelis from the corner of her eye. If she wasn't mistaken, it was definetely the remnants of Ralin's magic hovering about Sovelis. That stupid bitch, going off and having all the fun without her again.

I'll ask you to help when I'm done talking to my student...If I even live that long. Sovelis thought as he fell to his knees, feeling like power was being drained from him. Damn...Its almost time...Arrika. I'm sorry. I'm, out of time...he said out loud to Morendo. The transformation slowly began to unravel as the Tempest's form slowly changed back to his normal body.

Seth...find Rhyss and Mirielle....then find me and Arrika. We have to get out of here. We were never meant to live in this realm. Its killing you all slowly...and me a hell of allot faster!

By luck the two mages headed towards the palace, on the streets next to Morendo's tower. Seth wasn't too far behind either, the hellcat leading him to the same place.

"Rhyss! We need to hurry. Sovelis is in trouble. He's at the Arena too- where's Arrika?!" The cat meowed as Rhyss glared at it. Ralin's hands had been tied behind her back, also pinning her wings down.

Arrika lost patience after being thrown back into Morendo's room. She dropped down from the window, telling herself over and over again that the pain would only last a few moments. She tried to land the way she usually would, but fell over as her knees protestested in pain as she hit the roof below. She urged herself to stand, jumping to the ground below and falling over again. The Sheikah noticed Mirielle, Rhyss, Seth, and an odd cat. Running over to them with relief, she waved, saying, "There you all are! C'mon, let's go before the guards catch me again!"

The three looked at her strangely. Seth looked at her curiously, having the sensation that he'd met her before. Which was impossible- he'd never met a Twili before today, and certainly hadn't met someone with four joints on her fingers or super long black nails. Rhyss took Mirielle and Seth by the arms, dragging them away nervously. Arrika watched them run away, slapping a hand to her forhead when she remembered she was Morendo. And not even Seth had been able to tell the difference! Swearing, she followed them all to the colisseum where Sovelis kneeled in the stands.

Sovelis grabbed at his chest and moaned loudly in pain. It seemed that the mask that had attached itself to him, and then sank into him wasn't gonna help. If i die...so will you. So you had better do something or find somewhere else to go! He told the mask-spirit as he fell to his side and looked up at Morendo. "Don't...leave me please. I don't want to die...alone..." the Tempest whispered as he closed his eyes, waiting for the pain to stop, and with it, his life.

All you had to do was ask, the mask responded, amusement in its voice. What, your own demon can't help you? A black light shrouded the Tempest from head to toe. That feel a little better? The remnants of some other Twili's spell were still on you... all I had to do was awaken them again. I can take it off once you get back to Hyrule. Twili spells are sticky. Say, if you were cursed but managed to break it, the caster or anyone else with the ability could wake it up.

Morendo grabbed Sovelis' hand, satisfied that he wasn't going to die. "You're alright," she said in a soothing voice. "You're not alone. I'm here, okay? I'm not going to leave you alone any time soon."

"Sovelis!" Mirielle exclaimed, running to the Tempest and pushing who she thought was Arrika aside. "What the hell did you do to him?" She said incredelously, blaming Arrika immediately.

"Are you alright?" Rhyss said, dragging Ralin along. Ralin twisted around, compelling Rhyss to stare into her eyes. Rhyss froze, finding he lost the will to move. Gritting his teeth he yelled, "Enough is enough!" Dropping the pixie harshly on the ground he passed his hands over the edge of his staff, razor sharp silver sickle heads appearing on the ends. With a flash a rivulet of blood appeared across Ralin's eyes, the pixie howling in pain as her eyes were slashed out. The mage left the pixie there, this time sure she would remain quiet for the time being.

Sovelis looked and saw Ralin's eyes get slashed out. "Rhyss!" he said, jumping up with a newfound strength. He grabbed the man's staff and threw it across the arena. "That was totally uncalled for!" Sovelis grabbed the man's arm and twisted it around, bending it behind his back. "What the hell is wrong with you? We need her to get us home! How the hell is she going to do that now that She has no eyes?!?"

Sovelis kicked Rhyss, sending him to fall onto the ground. He knelt next to Ralin and put his hand on her face. "Be still, and let me see what I can to to repair the damage." he said in a voice that seemed to be like the masks. The strange black light that emanated from the Tempest seemed to wrap around the Twili and work into her eyes. A few seconds later, a red glow seeped out of Sovelis's hand as well, to replace Ralin's eyes with new ones.

ooC: is this okay?

OoC: She has eyes now, but she can't see out of them.

IC: Rhyss groaned and stood up. "Now that was uncalled for! Who's the one who said we were allowed to kill her if we felt like it?"

"I have to agree, but Rhyss was doing what you told him too..." Mirielle said, not sure what to say as she wanted to side with Sovelis but thought Rhyss had a point.

Morendo almost started giggling as Ralin was attacked, but managed to control her face muscles, saying instead, "I"m sure she doesn't need to see to be able to open another rift."

Ralin shoved Sovelis's hand away, not trusting any of their intentions. She wiped the rest of the blood away from her new eyes which were now a pale white instead of black, but could only see darkness. The pixie shrieked, screaming, "You bastard! I'll kill you!" Still bound from the waist up she struggled to stand, but fell over and collided into Seth. Arrika arrived, still stuck as Morendo. The relief of seeing Sovelis unharmed was overcome by the rage she felt when she saw the Twili in her form. She tried to leap over the stands but winced as she landed on her hurt knee again. Pushing Mirielle aside, who'd been in the way, she aimed a punch at Morendo, only to have it blocked easily.

"Damm you! Do you know how freaking weak your body is?" Arrika said angrily, taking a step back.

"Who the hell are you?!" Morendo said, faking surprise.

Argh! What the hell, she swears like me too!!! Arrika thought angrily. Okay, maybe if I telepathically tell Seth...With astonishment she realized that Morendo didn't have a drop of psychic ability. It was, in a way, like being deaf and mute.

Sovelis looked at Morendo, then at Arrika. "Okay...either you two are mad at each other, or you," he said, pointing at the REAL Arrika, "Are someone who wants to keep us as pets or something like that." he looked somewhat confused, and that was something he'd rather not feel. "Either explain yourself, or go back to wherever you came from!"

"I'm Arri-" Still angry, Rhyss made a small dagger materialize in his hands and grabbed what he thought was Morendo, the blade making a small cut in her thin neck. "Rhyss! Quit it!" Arrika cursed again that Morendo had not strength at all in her arms.

"Sovelis, can we just kill her and get it over with? I'm assuming Seth found whatever he wanted here, so what's the point of dealing with another pesky Twili?" Rhyss said.

"I'm all for that," Mirielle added, her staff molding into a golden spear.

Behind Sovelis Morendo grinned. This couldn't have gone any better. "She nearly killed me earlier when I ran away." She drew Arrika's dagger, spinning it skillfully in her hand, grinning and baring her pointier teeth. "I think I should get the first hit."

Eyes widening in fear Arrika struggled harder, but Rhyss just pressed the dagger deeper, a trickle of blood staining her heavy robes. She looked helplessly at all of them- even Sovelis would have no qualms killing her. "Seth- Seth, look at me!"

"Hell no." Seth had already learned that to stare into a Twili's eyes would only lead to you losing your mind and having it controlled by them.

"Seth, it's Arri-"

"Well, Mr. Tempest?" Rhyss interrupted. "Am I allowed to get rid of her or not? Who knows how much time is passing in Hyrule as we fool around here?"

Sovelis motioned with his hand, and sent Ryhss and Mirielle flying a few feet from their target. "How did you know our names? And why do you keep saying that your...Arrika?" Sovelis said, grabbing her arm and pulling her close. "Tell me...What is my True name?" Sovelis asked, looking into the Twili eyes. "Only Arrika knows that...only the real Arrika knows."

OoC: Shan'Tagetsu, keeper of the Light, right? I'll have you know I actually remembered it

IC: Seth stifled a laugh as the two mages were blown back, sitting on one of the benches with the cat purring contendedly in his lap.

Arrika stuttered, panicking as she tried to rack her brains for his name. Crud... I know this! I know it! But what is it?! If her life wasn't on the line the Sheikah would have been able to recall it easily, having a very good memory that even Kobas would praise her for. But now, with the Tempest's eyes boring into her soul she couldn't say a word.

"Sovelis! Don't tell me you believe her?!" Morendo said, astounded. "I'm Arrika. I'm right here! Can't you see that?"

OoC: I was gonna give you a hint and tell you to look up the spot when we were dream-walking, but you nailed it on the head girl!

IC:

Sovelis turned around and looked at Morendo. "Then you tell me, if your are Arrika. Tell me my true name and I'll let this Twili go. Their has been too much bloodshed today...and I've got an unwelcome visitor in my body. So one of you tell me what I want to know, or I'll just leave all of you here in the Twilight to rot." he threatened, grabbing Arrika's dagger with his metal hand and throwing down into the ground. "I'll get my way, power always makes it that way. I'm not taking the wrong one back to Hyrule. Who knows what someone with knowledge about Twili Magic could do with what I'd be teaching her..."

Morendo's mouth twitched, then a split second later she had grabbed Ralin and was running for dear life around the Arena. Arrika broke out of Sovelis's slacking grasp and started to chase her, only to burn out easily, leaving her gasping for breath. "Get- her- It should be- against the law- to be so slow!!!" Arrika said. Morendo easily went even faster into a sprint. Mirielle and Rhyss needed no telling twice to follow after them, Rhyss's double scythe spinning in his hand.

"Morendo! I could tell it was you the whole time," Ralin said, the pain having subsided already. "What's happening?"

"Can you open the rift now?"

Ralin made a tsking sound. "I had my eyes slashed out and you did nothing to stop him. You expect me to help you now?"

"Yes," Morendo growled. She stopped running, looking around nervously. The two mages were right at the only exit out of the Arena. She untied Ralin, saying, "Please. Ralin, you're the only one who ever-"

"Shut up. I know what you say about me. Hey, you're going to die anyway no matter what you do. Morendo... dying away with tone and time... Isn't that what that mortal Seer called you when she saw you?" The pixie chuckled. "Why not let them kill you now, and get it over with? You know your mother's going to get the throne one way or another."

Sovelis appeared behind the two of them. "I really hope that you ladies aren't planning on leaving us already. The party is just getting started." he said menacingly as he twirled his staff in-between his real fingers. "And if you Even try to open a rift, I'll obliterate you both into tiny, sub-atomic particles. GOT IT?" Sovelis's eyes seemed to be full of...Hate, and loathing as he looked at them and smiled sadistically. "Seth! Get over here and help me figure out what this...Twili did to Arrika so we can get her back in the right body."

Morendo took a few steps back, Ralin trying to scramble away as she could sense Sovelis near her. Seth with the cat close behind jogged towards them, saying, "I think the Twili just switched bodies with her- Arrika probably went and did something stupid like look into her eyes."

"Shut up, Seth. Ralin almost got you the first time."

Rhyss and Mirielle caught up, Rhyss stepping on Morendo's feet with a knife at her throat so she couldn't run away. Mirielle grabbed Morendo's and Arrika's right hands with her own, a crystally blue light shining around them. Her eyes glowed to a brightly until they were too bright to look at. Both felt the sickening, spinning sensation in their stomachs, their minds feeling like they were hurtling through the air uncontrollably. Morendo, now in her real body, slackened and fell forward until Arrika kicked her squarely in the stomach with one of her boots. Grabbing her by the front of her robes she punched her in the face twice, glad to have somewhere to vent her frustration.

Ralin sensed what had happened and tried to fly away, but Seth pounced on her and pinned her to the ground.
