"I wonder who could actually be stupid enough to fight on their own when they have trouble," Kayla said. She had a hand on her hip. She shook her index finger on her other hand like as if Nitara was actually there. "I swear, some people can be very dumb."

"Nitara would." Nariko spat at Kayla, obviously feeling offended for her friend. She knew that Kayla meant no conviction by the comment though, and brushed off her reply with a wave of her hand and a shake of her head.

"She cares a lot about others and doesn't want anyone to get hurt." Nariko said, looking at the Garos that landed nearby Kasei. She sighed, "Yes, but luckily it won't be too hard to find her."

Nariko, Myora, and Jeremy began to walk toward the crumbling buildings, hoping to find their friend and cousin. Nariko thought about all the people they had brought with them, surely her kidnappers would be no match for them. Especially with how strong Nitara's 'friends' appeared to be. She smiled, this was going to turn out well.

Kasei lifted his hand. The Garo nodded, and went ahead of the group, running full-speed towards the ruins. Kasei himself, however, was slower. Of course, this did not mean he was unprepared. From his waist he pulled out his scimitar, the only weapon he appears to have brought. He, himself, knows otherwise. Kasei continues to walk, eager to meet this 'Nitara'.

OOC:

Nariko pulled out a few daggers that were stored in different places within her clothing. She fell in step with Kasei and looked at his scimitar, thinking, of course, that it probably wasn't the only weapon that he had brought. She smiled, once again feeling that Nitara would be returned to them quickly.

They looked upon the first buildings, but finding no clear evidence that anyone was being held within they continued their search. Hoping also that Kasei's Garos who were ahead would find the building themselves.

OOC: Awesome pic. It's hilarious.

Oh, and if you'd like Kasei's Garos can find the building, or anyone else if you'd like. ^_^

OOC: Then i'll do just that!

Kasei hears the drawing of weapons, and gives a grim smile. He picks up his pace, and begins to get closer to the buildings.

The Garo, on the other hand, have already found the possible building. They stood still where they found it, and waited for Kasei to show with the others. When the Rebel Flame came speeding towards them, they turned as he came to a halt. "This it?" The shiekah asked his servants. They nodded, and vanished, while Kasei himself turned to face the building, and let his shiekahn and higher senses flow out, looking for signs of life through magic....

From inside you could hear screaming, but they weren't exactly screams of distress. Nariko, Myora, and Jeremy ran to the building that Kasei and the others were approaching and listened intentlly.

"YOU PIGS!" A loud scream resounded, denial clear in their voice.

"We still need your help! If you don't tell us what we want to know we can't ever let you go!"

"WHY WOULD I HELP YOU ASSES!? I ALREADY TRIED SENDING YOU INTO A DEATH TRAP! Why don't you just let me out of this pathetic cage and fight me like men! You guys are cowards! That's all you are! COWARDS!"

"Face it fox, there's no way to beat us. You're weak from not eating and can't do much else, plus you don't have any weapons."

"I'M GONNA RIP YOUR HEAD OFF ANYWAY YOU BASTARD!"

Nariko couldn't help but laugh the slightest bit, even if she was in a life-threatening situation, she could still manage some insults.

"Why don't you just tell us. Our plans for Hyrule are simple, and we don't need much more to finish them. We just need you to tell us--"

"You guys are really stupid. I mean, MY GOSH, what am I a pet? I don't think anyone would help someone if they locked them up in a cage like this! I'M NOT KIDDING! ONCE I GET OUT OF HERE I'M GOING TO RIP YOUR BODIES TO SHREDS AND FEED THEM TO THE CROWS!"

Slowly Nariko took a step toward the door, only to see a group of men sitting on the other side of the room from Nitara. Who had a man's shirt in her grasp and was pulling him tightly up against the bars of a small cage she was sitting in. Her hands and feet were tied but she had managed to turn herself around and catch the man's jacket.

"Gotcha." She stated quietly, her usually red eyes were now black, matching her pupils. Nariko knew that it meant her friend was furious. The door was only open a crack and Nariko was looking over the corner of it cautiously, but soon she wouldn't be able to stand it much longer.

She shuffled into the building, hiding her body behind a corner so that she could see them but they could not see her. She was quite good at this, seeing as she had to theive a lot in her childhood to stay alive. But Nitara's keen eye spotted her, and her irises turned deep blue for a moment, but than remembering the man in her grasp they turned black once more.

"Ugh." One of the men sighed as he pulled his cohort away from her grasp, she barred her teeth and a growl resounded deep in her throat as she turned to face them. One of the others brought out a knife and opened the cage, while the man she had grabbed roughly took her feet and pulled her out. The man with the knife pressed it to her throat and she looked down at it cautiously. "Tell us everything you know." He said threateningly.

Nitara growled once more in defiance and arched her neck inward, her teeth sinking deep into the flesh on his hand. He pulled away quickly, and the knife stabbed into her shoulder. She arched her back when the blade slid into her flesh, and looked up and the men with hate.

Nariko looked at the others standing just outside, mouthing, "Now?"

Kasei listened intently, his back against the wall, and moved to watch alongside Nariko. He heard everything, and didn't like this conversation. As he watched, Nitara was pulled out of her cage, and a knife was pointed at her. At this moment, Nitara's arm was cut, and Kasei's eyes were lit with rage. Before Nariko could even finish, Kasei had already punched the door to splinters, and was in the room, fire floating around him.

"You should show women more respect." He said bluntly, and raised his left hand.

The small flames around him turned into an inferno, and launched themselves at the group of men, enchanting the flame to not hurt Nitara, and barely keep the men alive. He was going to have a nice, long talk with them.

OOC: OMG Godmod!

Yeah, I had to do it.

"Well, well, well," Cathy muttered. She reconized Nitara's voice slightly. When was the last time she last saw her? Too long to remember. She saw Nariko mouth "Now?" and she looked back to see if Kayla and Kyle were there. Her long strides were different from their smaller strides. They would have to run to keep up with her walking pace. (Nita, she's actually 7 feet here, because that is her heighth in which she stops growing) She quirked an eyebrow at them. Cathy saw a smile sprout on Kayla's face.

Kyle nodded slightly. He had only met Nitara once. He was ready to meet her again, though, and he didn't want to have anything get in his way.

Ryokiden roared, loud enough to scare even the fiercest of lions, and with a ferocity that would scare even a person going to a Black Friday sale. He ignored the inferno of flame that the Rebel Flame had conjured, running at the men with all four of his clawed hands ready to rip all of the men to pieces.

Worru stood behind, as being burned alive was not exactly something he'd try as the end of his life. However, he did still ready himself should be needed for any battle.

OOC: I'm gonna make it so it wasn't as much as a god-mod, it wasn't that bad. ^_^

Plus, my gosh, Kasei, already burning the building down? Save some work for everyone else. (and a little bit of building for Nariko to burn)

IC: Nitara flinched as the fire passed by, but quickly recovered as she noticed it did no harm to her. Quickly she grabbed the hilt of the knife stabbed within her shoulder with her teeth and pulled. She yelped as it slid out of the flesh and blood poured down her arm, but she summoned up some of the energy she had gathered and the ropes around her hands undid themselves. It took a lot out of her but she now had her hands free and she could cut the bindings on her feet with the bloodstained knife.

Nariko, who was attempting to hurriedly run to her best friend and undo her bindings was shocked to find that Nitara was already standing and at the ready, her bindings loose on the floor. But she could see that Nitara was extremely worn out, and ran to her, intent on making it so she didn't have to fight.

Nitara heard Ryokiden's growl as he charged into the inferno at the men, his clawed hands at the ready. She smiled lightly and looked at Nariko as she came over. (OOC: by the way I LOVED your comparison with his growl to black friday goers, that was genious)

"Nitara, you hardly have any energy. You can't fight, let us do this." Nariko muttered, her yellow eyes observing the color of Nitara's closely. Intent to follow everything that was running through her mind. She noticed that they had reverted to their usual bright red, but there was somehthing different in them as well.

"Are you kidding me!" Nitara replied, almost somewhat excitedly although it appeared to Nariko that she was just saying it to appease her and to appear like she was in a better condition than she actually was. "I want revenge on those bastards, I wanna get to stab this knife into at least one of their shoulders."

"Niiiitaaaaa." Nariko whined, "Why must you always be so stubborn. You're going to faint or something and than I'll have to help you. I hate when you work yourself to hard."

"This isn't like that. And I wouldn't dare faint in front of them." She said, referring to the people that Nariko had brought along. "You can't keep me from this fight."

Nariko nodded, pulling out more of the daggers that she had stored within her clothes. And before she knew it Nitara had already joined the battle.

OOC: I have a new character who is very important in my plot. So, if ya feel like meetin' her she's at F8. (I feel there's too many new character posts in the courtyard)

Ryokiden's clothes, since he had run into the fire headfirst, after all, were on fire, as was his own hair, but the guardian daemon ignored it all. His focus was more on the men who was harming his Nitara, and making sure to leave them just so close to death, so that they might be able to ask some questions.

CRACK

Alright, so that one wouldn't be able to answer for a good, long time, but he ignored that one as well.

Kasei's fire died down, but the Rebel Flame was far from done. His scimitar was in his right hand and he was walking towards the remaining enemies, Jason style. He decided to make quick work of them, his streangth, after all, was enough to punch through a fortress wall, and his scimitar could cut metal like paper. All he had to do was keep attacking, these everyday thugs weren't even a threat. Any that did come at him were either sliced up or had their skulls cracked in, or had their throats grabbed, and they were suffocated.

OOC: I enjoy merciless killing!


I I suppose now is a good time to ask: Would you like this event to be part of the war?

OOC: Sure, if you'd like. I was planning on asking you if I could have these group of evil people (there's more, they just aren't here) in your war anyway.

IC: The remaining men looked around them hastily, they certaintly weren't expecting this. It came as a shock and they were definately not prepared for a fight. The man who had stabbed the knife into Nitara's arm looked at the others and some idea seemed to silently pass through them. Without need for words, they must have all been thinking of the same thing anyway.

Surprisingly quickly the men seemed to sink away into the floor, being absorbed by their own shadows. Nitara gasped as the fire died away and she watched the men disappearing.

"Of course," She said quietly, "I should have expected it."

The shadows darted across the ground rapidly, not appearing to be trying to escape. One passed under Nitara's feet and she was hurled to the ground with sickening force. Her breath was knocked out of her chest and she lay there for a moment before realizing that the floor probably wasn't the best place to recover.

Nitara heaved herself up and looked frantically over at Nariko, who was backing slowly away from a shadow that was zipping toward her. She jumped over it and hastily ran to Nitara' s side.

"We should have known that this was coming." Nitara stated bluntly, ripping a peice of cloth from the bottom of the simple white dress she was wearing. She tied the cloth tightly around the incision the knife had made, to stop it from bleeding, and Nariko handed her a dagger, which she gladly accepted.

The shadows skimmed around the floor of the room, heading towards the others as well. Once more one came at Nitara, and suddenly a sword that one of the men had been wielding slashed the outside of her leg as if veered to the side to move around her. She invoulantarily pulled her leg quickly away with a yelp, and backed up.

"Oh crap..." Nariko muttered, as she watched the blade disappear back into the shadow. "That can't be good."

Nitara nodded, touching the deep cut on her left leg. "Definately not."

Meanwhile, Myora and Jeremy were attempting to dodge shadows of their own. Doing a bit better than Nitara had herself, seeing as they already knew what the shadows could do. The twins ran over to the doorway and Jeremy attempted to stab a knife into one of the cracks in the floor when a shadow passed under it. But missed by just a second, and the shadow threw him hard into the wall. Myora ran to his side and helped him up quickly, pondering wether or not Jeremy's attack would have worked in the first place.

The rest of the men's shadows went toward Ryokiden and Kasei, while one detatched itself to head in Worru's direction. The one's who were attacking the twins now headed towards the others. (Kayla, Orpheous)

Kasei paused for a second as the men dissapeared into their shadows. "Of course, a strong darkness spell." He said, unconcerned that shadows were moving around the place. "The wizard, Aghanihm, did something like this." He finished, and reached into his pocket, from witch he pulled out deku nuts, the flashing little seeds. He aimed precisely at the shadow coming at him, and threw a nut to the ground. The bright light emitted would not only probably force the man out of the darkness, but give Kasei a second to impliment his own version of the skill; shadowmeld.

OOC: This topic moves to fast. Also, Nitara, when you said the others meaning Kayla and Orpheous, I think you forgot about the fact that we both have a side crew here.

IC: Orpheous and company listened to the story about the City of Blossoms, and its collapse. It was an interesting story indeed. However, it seemed as if he had heard it one to many times. Evil is spreading, and fast. No matter what the group, what the dimension, what the time, darkness was spreading.

Orpheous didn't ask any more questions, nor did his friends. That was a good enough explaination for them. He didn't exactly run, but he was quickly shuffling to make sure he stayed up with the group as they ventured to the said dystination where they were keeping Nitara.

Once they had gotten there, Orpheous and company also joined in on the eavesdropping. However, they couldn't get a glance into the room. However, they were easily able to hear Nitara's point of attack. Her voice, Orpheous had grown to miss it so much. Not so much in an affectionate way, but like that of a dead friend. Now her presence was amongst her again.

Soon, Kasei ripped the door to shreds, and that is when Orpheous and the rest of the crew were able to see what was actually going on in the room, but that was not needed, seeing how Silna had already relayed to them telepathically what was going on. Even though she couldn't see what was going on, her ears had changed to those of a hawk, and she could see everything by simply listening closely.

Once the door shattered, Simon was in awe. Orpheous had told him of Nitara, and he had told the rest. Orpheous did leave out one last detail, though: Ryk had a strong intrest in her. Orpheous kept that bit to himself. Simon wasn't aware how Ryk felt, and he had known sooner, he may not have fallen for Nitara. However, it was to late now. Everything about her, from her features to the fact that she could handle herself in great danger seemed to amaze him(sorry, nothing personal Worru, but I thought Ryk would appreciate some compitition; besides, Grendel will meet someone else soon enough). Now there was no chance Ryk could persuade him, he had fallen for her, although his facial expressions hid it.

Soon enough, the group was in combat. Valentine, the one in the flight combat jacket, desided to attack with a dagger for now, but if things got out of hand, he would bring out a handgun. Snowflake, the shiehah looking fellow, attack with a long sword. Both Simon and Orpheous used double-edged swords. Bou was also fighting with a double-edged sword, but he wielded a shield as well, as opposed to the other two who were wielding their swords with both hands. Silna had shifted into a bear and started raging all other the enemies.

The opponets however quickly became nothing more than shadows on the floor, and the individuals of the group waited for one to attack. It appeared as though once one attacked, the part that was attacking was for a split second, not a shadow. So if they could hit them during that one moment....
