IC: kasei approaches hithos, intent on becoming a mercinary... dear quartermaster, can you instruct me to be a mercinary?

"Well, young merc, you need to have used 3 TP on mercenary-specific abilities. Come see me when you've got em and we'll talk!"

IC: Hithos looks over Nogare and lets a grin creep onto his face. "Now you've got it! I sense that you now hold the power of the King's Banner within you!" He nods excitedly. "It is my honor to now officially pronounce you a Vassal! Go forth, and use your power to serve your King and your country to the best of your ability!"

Nogare bowed deeply, his smile almost in relief. Tears grew in his eyes. "Thank you, Hithos! I am honoured beyond words to serve the King. Thank you! He tighted his hold on Belegcam. "Many thanks." And it was that Nogare triumphantly left the smithy. He was obviously happy. Very happy. But why should he not be; he had been working up to becoming a Vassal for the past 19 years. When outside, Nogare exhailed deeply, and walked away from Hithos' place, shoulders raised, wearing a proud, noble face.

well, what do I do?

"Why, you let me look you over a few times." The Quartermaster glares deep into Kasei's eyes, as if analyzing his strengths and weaknesses. "Yes..." he says softly after some time. "Yes, I see the strength that lies within you!" He nods and holds out his arms. "Now go forth, Kasei, Mercenary. May Lady Fortune smile on you with golden teeth."

OOC: You don't do anything with it as of now; It used to be for making the Ornery Cucco Tavern, but now that it's made, it's useless, like you said... just a fwe more weeks more, my friend, and the south will be out! In the south, there will be a use for it!

When you do this, return to me, and you will take the title of Mercenary."

Perform quests or level up to gain TP, spend at least 3 TP on Nomad-only talents(Calm Beast, Track, Find Sustenance, Exceptional Endurance), and you will have to be Neutral. When you do this, return to me, and you will take the title of Nomad."
