Hyrule Adventures 2

OOC: Pubru, we should edit our posts because we have met before, in the Chaos Temple.


IC: Leth wanders around the room, looking for another way out.

Pyre pointed down at the small tracks. He had a sneaking suspicion that they would lead him to another way pass the bars. "Hey Brin. I found some tracks here. They look human. Think I should follow them?" Then, he looked at Denning. With a map, it would be very possible that they would find a way to the pedastal room.

OOC: Sovelis, the thing on the pedestal cannot be picked up, it is just a warping of space.

IC: Brin looks through the bars and can barely make out tracks. "Yeah, you could try, Pyralin. Here, take the map." Brin hands Pyre the dungeon map.

OoC: It can't be moved? You could have told me that before...
IC: Me and Brin will try and find a way around these bars, I hope we don't get lost..." he mumbled

OOC: I told you that it seemed like the very space there was constantly shifting, in a pattern that resembled a certain shape. I never said there was any physical matter.

IC: Brin looks around the room for other exits. A rat scurries out from a small hole in the wall, frightened by the sound of his footsteps. Brin walks towards the left side of the dark room, where he can make out a door. "Drat! It's blocked by bars! We're trapped! Maybe figuring out what that thing is on the pedestal between those unlit torches is..."

OOC: look at my post about when we first entered this room for clues to solving this puzzle. People on the other side of the door, you could give Brin and Sovelis some hints if you know the answer...

OoC: I say we stick something into the thing on the pedistal...
IC: "We're traped, aren't we Brin?" Sovelis asked as he leaned agianst the Pedistal.

Denning looks around the room and sees the two unlight torchs.

"Those torches over there, try lighting them! That may be the key to solving this room!"

OOC: if there is one thing Zelda taught me, its that an unlight torch is always a key.

OOC: Hey, I was going to say that! Not fair...

Leth keeps wandering around the room, but keeps the conversation at the door in his mind, so that he can know what they are saying.

OOC: Does Leth find any thing, Brin?

"Good idea, Denning! Sovelis, I'm low on magic energy, so I would like to conserve it. Could you light the torches for me with your Fire spell?"

OOC: Leth, you are on the other side of the bars, remember?

"Right! Why didn't I think of that!" he said as he cast Fire on the tourches.

The flames hit the torches but nothing happens. Brin steps up to them to inspect. "But Sovelis, there's nothing in the torches to burn! We'll have to find something. Got any sticks with you?"

Sovelis ripped his left sleave off. "Use that, since my arm's fake, I won't need to worry about getting it all cut up." he said as he ripped the sleave in half and placed the halves in the torches and cast Fire.

But the sleeves only burn for a couple of seconds, not long enough to keep the torches lit...

Pyre watched the two, and the attempt at lighting the torch. "Does any one have any deku wood. Mabye we could use that." He didn't think it would work, but it was certainly worth the try. He looked in his own pack, and found that he had no wood on him, and looked to the others questioningly.

"Good, idea, Pyre." Brin looks into his own pack. "Ah ha! Deku Wood." He places one piece in each torch. "Ok Sovelis, try now."
