OoC: Like I said, it's fine.

Russell sighed and sat down on the step in front of the door. How low could he possibly sink? He got kicked out of a perfectly roomy house by a little green haired kid who wasn't even fully awake. "Stupid little brat. 'I'll make sure to throw a few fried eggs-'" He mimicked, then put his head in his hands. "I guess I'll just find this Rhyss-person's house," he said aloud dejectedly.

Sakiko had stared at the little kid amusedly, examining his features, especially his green hair. The mage followed Sovelis and walked by Arrika, glad to be able to rest at last. It had been a long day. Sakiko turned towards Arrika and murmured,

"I want to know. Who is that kid? And what's he doing to Russell?"

She stared at her surroundings. She bit her lower lip and muttered,

"Which room are you staying in, Arrika?"

ooc: Whoa, I was way behind! Anyways, Arrika-chan, the smeagle thing cut off the oxygen from my lungs.

"Who cares?" Arrika said flippantly. "Nah, his name's Seth. Another thief and hung around me and Kobas and Rhyss for years."

Meanwhile Seth leaned against the doorframe, sighing and attempting to supress another yawn. He yanked open the door again and said grumpily, "You can come back in. Sovelis changed his mind," he lied, as if to say none of it was his fault. He left the door open, pointed to the room across from his and fell asleep on the Tempest's comfy chair instead. The theif curled up like a cat on the cushion, wrapped his cloak around him and closed his eyes, oblivious to the world again.

Sakiko nodded, and murmured softly,

"Ah, Kobas."

She blinked several times, and gave a small yawn. Sakiko turned towards Arrika, and said,

"Well, I'm going to go for a small nap. See you...when I wake up. Or when you do."

The mage opened a random door, and found a room, like Sovelis had described. She stretched and prepared for a nice long sleep.

"Goodnight then Sakiko." Sovelis said to the young female scholar as she disappeared into her room. He walked over to a door, one that had his name carved intricately into the wooden surface. The Tempest opened the door and walked through, but didn't shut the door behind him for some strange reason.

"Arrika. Will you come in here for a minute? I want to talk to you for a minute before you go to bed." he said as he stumbled around in the large, dark room. "Dammit...I hate when the curtains are closed..." he cursed under his breath as he opened the large, thick curtains. The windows allowed the moonlight to pour into the massive room, showing to Arrika the sheer size of Sovelis's quarters, and the bed in particular. It was one you'd expect to find in a kings bed chambers. The four posts held up a dark colored canapy, making a small, miniature room out of the bed.

"So...what do you think? For someone who says that they don't like being royalty, I sure do sleep like it. Don't I?" he said, holding his arms wide, in a gesture of showing off his room.

Arrika waved goodnight, wondering if Seth would put nightmares in everyone's heads just for the heck of it.

"Geez! No kidding," Arrika said, looking in awe at his expensive looking bed. Then again, everything in his room seemed priceless or antique. "I bet you sleep better than the King himself. Not very modest, are you?" That sure beats sleeping on the ground. I bet a normal bed would be really weird to me at the moment; I'm so used to camping or hiding in someone's attic when it was really cold.

The moonlight poured into the room, illuminating some parts and casting more shadows. Arrika's eyes seemed completely black in this setting, giving her face a darker look..

"Modesty is one of the few things I have in my own home. I may dress like a common mage, wearing wool or cotton, but I do have some silk robes...for special occasions." Sovelis said, sitting on the edge of his bed. He bent down and untied his boots, kicking them off and letting them land a few feet from Arrika. "Compared to the previous owners of this extra dimension, I'm very modest. All of the furniture throughout the house is what I've scavenge off other worlds over the years. Just like my books."

Sovelis pulled off his socks and tossed them aside. "Welcome to my parlor...said the spider to the fly." he seemed to be insinuating something as he undid the clasp on his robe top. He tossed it aside as well, then threw the bottoms as well. He stood up, his black pants and long sleeved tunic seemed to let him blend with the shadows of the room.

"I bet that you've never sat on a bed as soft as mine. Go ahead, try it out." Sovelis said, motioning for Arrika to climb into the dark little area that was his bed.

Arrika raised her eyebrows at that, but plopped down on the bed next to him anyway. It sank down a little, even with her slim figure. Its softness surprised her a lot, but then again, what would a peasant who'd had a hard pallet for a bed or the ground beneath her feet know? "Sure. Like someone who has the ability to make stuff appear out of thin air wouldn't take advantage of that. So where'd your bed really come from?"

She watched the Tempest with interest, her dark eyes never leaving him once.

"Hmm...this one came from a country known as Tuscany, from an Earth similar to mine. Most of them are so similar, but their are a few odd-ball versions that are just plain weird..." Sovelis said, looking up at the ceiling. "And I can't just make stuff appear out of thin air...I need the proper materials, and the energy to create that object. Or just Shift the object to my location. Why do you think I leave my sword here most of the time? I can call it to me whenever I need it."

He turned his head, and looked at Arrika. "You like watching me, don't you?" he smiled, and winked at the young sheikah next to him. He was teasing her, and he knew the pale Arrika was gonna blush again.

Arrika struggled to keep from smiling and just said, "Maybe. So what do you have that's so important to tell me that you try and lure me on your bed with you?" The Sheikah said, leaning lazily one one of the bed posts. "The way you talk about magic is chopping it up into some kind of science. Where's the fun in that?"

"I do not...and who said anything about luring you into my bed? I'm not that desperate...I think." Sovelis replied, smiling at Arrika with the grin that he usually had on his face. "Magic is considered a science to some anyways, at least, some forms of it are. Alchemy is a scientific magic, but thats the only one I can think of...Their are Necromancers, Pyromancers, Aeromancers, Neromancers, Tecnomancers, Tempralmancers, Remembrancers, Alchemists...the different kinds of magicians are like the elements or powers. They use different kinds of spells, and power sources..."

Sovelis was actually being serious, but his mind wasn't going to stay on track for very long...

Arrika only really heard half of what Sovelis was saying, having already learned that part from Rhyss before. She just stared, not really comprehending and twirling a lock of her black hair around her finger. The Sheikah's mind wandered, wondering what Russell was doing and whether Sakiko even slept or not, since she always had this tired look on her face. "Yeah, you do," Arrika said, sighing. She kicked off her boots and propped them across the bed, having gotten tired of them dangling at least a foot off the side.

OoC: I didn't go about this well, did I?

IC: The short kid with green hair fell asleep, very much resembling the cat Russell used to have before. Russell grabbed a bottle of wine, pulled out the cork with a lot of effort and sat sideways on another chair, his legs draped over one of the arm rests. He took a deep swig, and soon he was drunk, muttering to himself and singing who knows what. He eventually drifted off to sleep, his dreams full of visions of his sister in a coma at home.

Then the dream changed, and in it Arrika was holding his hand. The pretty Sheikah turned to Russell, saying, "Russell, I've been meaning to say this for a long time. I sorry for being a jerk the first time a met you, but now I've realized that I really do lo-"

The Tempest Sovelis appeared and hooked his arm through Arrika's. They both grinned and with a little wave to Russell they skipped away, leaving Russell alone again. The dream started getting freaky at that point as Seth with cat ears started meowing and rubbing his head on the mage's hand.

IC:

Sovelis smiled at Arrika again. "Bored, aren't you?" he asked, poking his student lightly on her shoulder. "Sorry, I'm not that interesting when I start giving a speak. I'm better at showing someone how to do something than telling them." Sovelis lay back on the bed, looking up at the dark canopy that covered the ancient bedposts. "You know what? Its bed time for me...So how about I zonk out, and you curl up next to me?" he said, his trademarked grin on his ever-youthful face.

OoC: Lol. Ya know, a Seth with cat ears actually would look kinda cute.

IC:
"Not desperate, huh? Whatever." Arrika crawled next to him and wrapped herself with her cloak, burrowing under his arm with one hand draped across to his shoulder. "Try anything right now, though, and I'll bite off your last arm."

Seth woke up again, drowsy and confused. He'd been dreaming of stealing fish from the market and bringing it back to Sovelis' house, where he'd convinced Arrika to fry it for him. The fish was ready in seconds, and just as he was about to grab it from the pan and eat, Russell appeared out of nowhere and picked it up first. As this was a dream Seth didn't question the fact that the hot oil didn't flay his skin off.

"Ya want it?" Russell said, waving it teasingly in front of Seth's face.

The next thing Seth knew he had cat ears and a tail, and found himself rubbing his head against Russell's hand and meowing for the fish. At least he wasn't weaving himself between Russell's legs like most cats.
