"I'm not sure if he'll be able to use it without exausting himself, Kasei." Sovelis said from under the tree. "He still hasn't gotten strong enough to have developed his magical energies. It'll take a few weeks of training to, but If he had a fire scroll, that would help alot." Sovelis said.

Micheal smiled widely. He knew something would be different. Come on, it's sparring with real weapons. He remembered that he once was joking around with his older brother and was using a stick to spar with him. How could this be any different?
He ran at Kasei, sword outward(atleast, I think i remember buying a sword) and attacked him.

"Good, but not good enough." Kasei says, raising his shield. Just as Michael gets close, Kasei bashes out with the wooden defence, sending Michael to the ground. "Theres where you fault, a frontal assault is useless if the opponent knows how to attack with his shield. Learn from your mistakes, try again." Kasei said encouragengly.

"You can't hide behind a shield for long!" Micheal said, jumping back to his feet. He lunged at Kasei, aiming to get that shield out of his hand.

Kasei smiled as Michael came at him, but jumped backl at the last second, so that the prankster hit air. "Dodging is also usefull in battles, there are many ways to dodge. Let me show you a move I learned a long time ago, a thousand thrusts in one!" Kasei says, and charges his scimitar with magic, and makes a slice at Michael, who dodges it. After a few seconds, blood is seen on Michael's tunic. "The thousand strikes in one does dammage even if it misses." Kasei explaines.

Micheal blinked, shocked when he hit air when he went to attack Kasei. He stood there. When Kasei went to attack him, he dodged it, but got hurt. He looked at his cut with surprise. When Kasei explained, Micheal frowned. "Well that's what I call useful magic," Micheal joked. He sighed. "Bad joke."

Kasei smiled as Michael understood the attack. The mercinary ran at Michael, and struck at the pranster with his sword, missing. The mercinary then half-spun on his heels and struck at Michael, only to miss again. "Your getting better, Michael." The rebel flame compliments.

"I try," Micheal said. He brought out his sword to attack Kasei. "I'm not the best of fighters."

Kasei smiled as Michael came at the mercinary, and dodged to the side. As Michael passed, Kasei slames the pummel of his scimitar into Michaels back, sending him to the ground. "Heh, thats enough for today. I would like you to purchase a fire scrol before the next session. I would also suggest you start training on your own." Kasei said, as he walked off.

The final day.

Kasei sat wearily in the Town Square, waiting for Michael to arrive.

IC: Micheal jumped down from a roof right in front of Kasei. He didn't have a graceful landing, since he fell right on his butt. He smiled one of his goofy grins up at Kasei. "Did I scare ya?"

Kasei looked up as Michael fell down, and smiled. "Not really. Today, the last day, I would like you to manipulate this flame." Kasei says, producing a flame. The small fireball danced in the rebel flames hand, as if it was alive. "After this, I would like you to request Worru or Sovelis to train you in their respective area, because I will be leaving for a personal mission, and won't be back anytime soon." The mercinary explained.

Micheal's eye twitched weirdly. Manipulate a flame? "And how am I suppose to do that?" he asked.

Kasei smiled at Michael. "You purchased the fire scroll, if I am correct, that, combined with your own magical power and willpower will allow you to manipulate the flame. It is usually very easy, just concentrate." Kasei said.
