OOC: I didn't forget, just referring to the users cuz I didn't feel like listing everyone.

Nitara waited for the next shadow to come charging at her. Expecting the same attack, the men weren't the brightest, and they clearly thought that their previous attack was efficient enough. The shadow came toward her once more and the one-edged blade came straight at her other leg. Nitara did a sort of backflip and rolled back onto her knees, placing her palms on either side of the sword and jerking it upwards. The man's arm was forced out of the shadow and she wripped the sword from his grasp, quickly whipping it around and stabbing downward. There was an outcry and than the man's body appeared on the floor, his head bleeding. She pulled out the sword and smiled, "Easy." She muttered to Nariko, who looked a little confused by what just happened.

The shadow that was going toward Kasei shrunk back when the deku nut hit the ground in a blinding flash. The man came out halfway and attempted a strike to Kasei's feet with a long-sword.

A single shadow went straight toward Worru, and the man revealed himself completely. Dual wielding his short swords. He pointed one toward Worru.

Two more had went straight for Ryk, attempting to throw him the same way they had for Nitara and Jeremy. They seemed to work together, switching sides before each advance.

The rest went toward Orpheous, Kayla, and the people they had brought along. Jeremy and Myora stood within them. Three shadows decided to attack Silna, while another attacked Valentine and Snowflake. Two more went in Simon and Orpheous's direction, swords sticking out from the ground every-so-often. Three went toward Kayla, Cathy, and Kyle. These took a different tactic, attempting to get underfoot and stab with short daggers.

OOC: Heh. Competition eh? Great... I'm looking forward to this.

Ryk grinned, as both of his clawed hands entered the gauntlets they seemed to be joined to, and began to attack both of the shadows that were attacking him with each dagger that shot out of the gun-like holes. "C'mon, can't you guys try and be original?" he asked, but he didn't care for an answer. He was a man of action, after all.

Worru, on the other hand, let his other hand glow green, under the bandages he wore over the mark. He drew his scythe from out of thin air, the blade gleaming in the light Ryokiden's flaming clothes had, even with the guardian daemon some yards away. With the scythe's dual nature, of darkness and light, he hoped the light could do more damage on these people who could hide in the shadows, a skill the Sheikah wasn't able to master still.

"Eh? Are these people some kind of idiots? Challenging me to a fight," Cathy said. She pulled out her sword and smiled evilly. Her sharp, pointed teeth seem to glint slightly.

"Getting a little confident, aren't you?" Kayla mocked. Cathy glanced her way and saw that she was looking around carefully. She had her fists up, ready to fight the enemy.

Kyle was freaking a little bit. He didn't have very good fighting skills. The only kind of attack he knew was self defense, when adrenaline is rushing through his body and he seems to think better than when he's frighten.

OoC: Don't take away the picture, Nitara! I really like it!

"Nice." Kasei said aloud, as the longsword appeared as well as a good piece of the enemy. "But you just gave me an opening." The Rebel Flame finished, dissapearing into shadowmeld. The longsword, however, hit something. As it came out of shadowmeld of it's own, a Garo stood above the opponent, the sword stuck in it's hand.

The noise of a blade piercing a heart could be heard. Kasei was crouching down behind the one dumb enough to come after him, his scimitar deep in the opponent's neck. The shiekah did not smile arrogantly, but, rather, looked down at his opponent with disgust.

"You are not weak, know this. I'm simply stronger." Kasei said. The enemies skin could be seen visibly ageing. "You picked the wrong man to fight, now I shall show you the source of my immortality."

The enemies' body was ageing rapidly. "I steal the soul's of the wicked whom I battle. Their souls keep me alive for just a few more years." Kasei's eyes closed. "As your soul is torn apart inside me, I hope you can come to realize your mistake."

The enemy, or the dust and bones that was once him, was now on the ground, and Kasei stood and opened his eyes.

"Even saints have the power of a devil."

OOC: Sorry for god-modding but that was gonna happen. The guy brought it on himself.

Plus, it was a great oportunity to show you all how Kasei devours souls! Try and figure out the secret, you'll need to know it eventually...

OOC: Wow. . .

IC: As Ryokidens daggers flew swiftly from his gauntlents only one of the shadows seemed to have a reaction. And soon a bleeding body was visible upon the floor, the second shadow however disappeared. Suddenly the man leaped from behind and attempted to strike with a stab through the daemon's back.

The man that was fighting Worru lunged for him, ducking down and swinging one of his swords toward his knees and the other vertically across his body.

A tall man seeped out of the shadow and stood before Kyle, grinning and poiting a broadsword toward him. "You can't fight me kid." He said matter-of-factly. Another man came up before Cathy, once more only half way, this man was on her side. He stabbed quickly at her leg with a knife. While the one's who were attacking Kayla, Orpheous, and Simon continued their strategy of stabbing underfoot with daggers. Myora and Jeremy were crouching down on either side of the room, avoiding attacks from below and attempting to stab deep into the shadows.

Apparently there werent' many left, and one that had been previously occupied with the bear that was Silna broke off and bravely approached Kasei's direction.

Kasei turned away from the dust on the floor. The Garo, who had been stabbed, slumped to the floor, almost about to be sent to the next life. Kasei, however, was not, and faced the new enemy with hate in his eyes. "Pfft. You are not even worth my time." Kasei said, as the second Garo flew from the shadows at the enemy, knife aimed for the head of the foolish enemy.

Kasei didn't even care. If the Garo was knocked aside, then the man would die anywhay, through the bomb now attatched to him.

OOC: Y'see, it's not that Kasei's too strong, it's just that these guys are weak. Y'don't have to worry about that attack again, though, I promise never to use it unless circumstances (Defeated bad guy) say so.

Ryokiden almost broke out with laughter, as the blade struck into his back, and came out the other side, not a speck or smear of blood on the end of the blade. "Sorry, buddy, but I seem to not have any blood at all." He, with the blade still stuck, reached behind himself with both hands, and shot once more with his daggers.

Worru leapt back, yelping as the blades hit him, and drew blood. Luckily, though, they missed something that the boy deemed very important, in any possible, and a couple impossible situations. But, he shrugged the attack off, striking his anemy with his scythe once more.

Ryokiden's daggers impaled the man's head and he fell to the ground.

*Thud*

Nitara looked to the people who were fighting around her and almost laughed. This was a surprise, so many people coming. She shook it off and noticed Worru get hit with the man's blades. She watched the boy's scythe cut through the mans arm, and the man drop one of his swords, barring his teeth. Nitara ran over and turned to Worru, not really caring about the man behind her.

"Mind if I cut in?" She asked politely with a smile. Her tail wagged.

Nariko shook her head and occupied herself with assisting Myora and Jeremy.

*Thud*

And another one of the men fell to the ground, a knife stabbed into the side of their head. The Garo's attack had hit perfectly.

Kyle jumped and stared wide eyed at the guy. He didn't know what to do. All he knew mostly what to do was defend like he did with the rare fighting lessons with his twin sister. His frighteness disappeared soon. A smiled appeared on his face. "I may not be able to fight you, but I can dodge you."

Cathy let out a small growl and pulled back her right foot, twisting it around and pulling it under the man. She brought it up and pulled the man to the ground. Not once did she swing the sword in her arms.

Kayla was a pretty good dodger, but she suddenly lashed out. A dagger that she had hidden in her sock had gotten into her hand and she used this as a disadvantage, since no one saw her pull it out.

Kasei smiled grimly as his Garo perfomed the attack flawlessly. Garo were not physically or magically powerfull. However, their speed and hiding abilities make them perfect assasins. In a on-on-one battle, of course, Garo are helpless against strong opponents. It was by sheer luck that Kasei's got in a kill, and then went back to the shadows.

The Rebel Flame turned back to look at the battle. It was going smoothly, though Kasei knew there was always some kind of stronger enemy around, so he was alert, and he waited for his companions to finish their battles.

OOC: Well, I think I'll make this battle easy. And end it soon. There'll be more, don't worry.

IC: Nitara smiled at Worru once more and than turned around, stabbing her sword into the man's shoulder just as he was about to attack her from behind. Yah, doesn't feel feel that good does it? the man heard her voice in his head as blood spurted from his limbs. She turned back to Worru,

"Sorry," She said, grinning, "You can have him back now."

She turned around quickly and trotted off, looking for another enemy to attack. Nitara looked at the Kayla and Cathy as they fought, smiling, and than watched as Kyle's eyes widened. She almost laughed, at the confusion that was obvious within his eyes. Her eyes were now a very bright lime-green color(that means she's excited) as she ran over to Kyle. Leaving Worru and the man behind. She smiled as she saw confidence return to his face and him declare.

"I may not be able to fight you, but I can dodge you."

Hopping in front of him with her back turned to the man she laughed. "Sure, that'll keep ya alive for a bit. You can dodge and I'll fight, kay?" The man behind her brought his sword down and it bit sharply into the side of her arm. She yelped and her white fox-ears plastered against her head, with a hiss she grabbed the blade, cutting her hand, and turned around with black eyes. "You guys just never give up do you?" She asked, moving the blade from her arm and shoving it back, making the man stumble backward slightly before regaining his position. He suddenly darted around Nitara and attempted to stab through Kyle's side.

The man that Cathy had pulled out of the shadow took a knife and hastily attempted to strike at her feet as she pulled him out. While the man that Kayla was fighting did not see the dagger that she now held in her hand, he aimed a kick right for her head.

"Well," Kasei said, with one Garo laying injured and the other aiding with medicine, "I believe that this fight is almost over." He finished, and ran over to Kyle, who was only a few feet away, just before he could get a blade in his side. The Rebel Flame brought out his own blade again, and, useing a swirling motion, knocked the enemies' blade out of his hand. Kasei then proceded to behead the opponent, without Kyle having to do anything.

"There, now I think this is over...." Kasei said, standing up.

Kyle stood there, a little surprised when Nitara had jumped in front, and then even more surprised when Kasei beheaded the person.(OoC: Oh, gross, I can just imagine that. *shudders*) "Ah, thank you?" Kyle said with hesitance in his voice.

Cathy had dodged the knife and brough her own sword down on his on his torso. While Kayla dodged the blow to the head, she slashed out with her dagger.

Worru swung his scythe at the man, thankful the man wasn't close enough to hit him, but wishing he could've just said a thank-you to the girl who just helped him.

Ryk, still smiling, continued on to shoot daggers at whatever, and whoever came near him, with malicious intents, as he found those to be the ones who needed to die now. Luckily, his daggers, even in deflected or dodged, wouldn't hurt those who were with him.

OOC: I hope Orpheous doesn't mind that I'm assuming his characters either killled the enemies they were battling or Ryokiden's daggers got'em. I have to remind him to post here.

IC: Ryokiden's daggers seemed to shoot down what was left of the enemy, while Cathy and Kayla's blows hit their marks (Cathy's through the man's heart and Kayla's through his forehead.) and instantly killed the enemies they were fighting.

Now the mens bodies lay all around in disorder, the floor covered in crimson liquid. Nariko, Myora, and Jeremy were standing by the doorway in a triangle formation, with looks of shock upon their faces. But Nitara still looked as if she expected ten more enemies to spring from the walls. Her eyes were slowly tinting brown, and blood was still leaking from her leg-wound.

"That was..." Nitara muttered, "So... Quick." She looked down at the floor.

Nariko walked over to her, "Yah, good thing."

"Crap." Nitara said, "I feel like a wimp for not getting away sooner."

"They were drugging your food! And they had you tied AND in a cage!" Nariko said in her defense, shocked at Nitara's reaction to the battle.

"Oh well... It doesn't matter," Nitara replied, dropping the subject. She smiled so large that her eyes scrunched up as she looked up. "But you all! I haven't seen you all in soooo long!"
