The word 'hostel' is defined as 'a supervised, inexpensive lodging place for travelers, especially young travelers.' A "traveler’s hostel" is therefore kind of redundant.

Of course, HA2's Hostel has a much different purpose than that of an inn. And what's more, we really don't care if we're redundant or not. ;)

The Traveler's Hostel is more of a lodging of identities than of actual people. It is the place for people to put their stats, abilities, and stories...it's a logbook of HA2's adventurers, both past and present. You can go there to see what the original cast of characters were like, and compare them to the ones that are seen in today's society. Since this is such an important aspect of your time here in Hyrule Adventures 2, you would think that the things relating to this would be clear and concise. Yet, as many people continually point out, whether through word or deed, the main two things required for the Hostel are anything but easily understood.

We’ll talk about the first of these two things here: how one actually reaches the Traveler's Hostel. It isn't a complicated process...once you've gotten the hang of it. For first-timers, however, there is an overwhelming majority of people who fail to find it. The simple, five-step process is as follows:
  • 1. On the main page of HA2 – the North Castle Courtyard – click on the topic labeled "Important: Traveling Within the Castle". This topic will always be near the top of the page, and will have a scroll icon next to it.
    2. On the page that this topic leads to, click the link labeled "Town Square". It is the second link from the top.
    3. On the Town Square page, click on the topic labeled "Important: [Location] Traveler’s Hostel". This topic also has a scroll icon next to it.
    4. On the page that this topic leads to, click the link "open the door and walk in". It is found at the end of the paragraph of writing in the first post, and is underlined and a different color from the rest of the text.
    5. You have arrived!
Okay, so it's really more of a four-step process. That's beside the point. The point is that now you know how to reach the Traveler's Hostel. Next time around, I'll address the second point: what your profile ought to be like.

Until the next article, happy RPing!
