As you walk down the path, something catches your senses. A tingle runs down your spine, and you sense that danger is in the area. The snow has covered the field, which would make it easy to hear or track enemies. No sound. No tracks. Something is wrong here. The presence of evil is abundant. What could it possibly be? There are no trees within the vicinity. Everything seems serene enough to hold peace, however your best intuition tells you otherwise. Suddenly, the snow begins to rise up around you. Its as if it had a mind and movements of it's very own! It slowly reached like a claw up to your waist...

The knight Phil, was shocked.
Phil:What's happening to me.
OOC: You said you would give him stats to keep him from becoming to powerful. This is it isn't?

OOC: It is, but he hasnt revealed himself yet.

IC: The snow was creeping up the night, and when it reached his neck, it stopped, and held him firmly in place. Out of the snow rose a figure. It looked like a man, as it rose out of the snow. Two arms were visible, and soon he was standing on the snow, as if he were light as a feather. He opened his eyes, which were an ice blue, and he began to speak. "My name is not important. However, I cannot let you proceed any further, bosses orders." He awaited the man's words.

OOC: His stats appear if he decides to attack, or likewise, if you attack, his stats appear.

OOC: I was referring to Phil's(grunt//nomad) stats. As he is not my main character, i guess he is a PC(playable character), and you said to keep him from getting to powerful that you would assign Phil stats. If by the fact you meant Phil's stats in your last message, I am sorry I made this post.
Note:the sword in my inventory is Phil's

OOC: I know, thats a deku sword. And i meant I would make My NPC's stats a little lower so that he wouldnt kill your person. I highly suggest you use your main character.

OOC:ok. I hear by declare that this event takes place before Orpheous's disappearence.
Note:the word Phil is now replaced by Orpheous.
Ic:Ok, who is your boss then.

OOC: He's FAR weaker than a boss. A boss usually lies at the end of a dungeon, and takes a large group of adventurers to defeat. This is more like a personal mini boss. I'm sorry to always seem to be complaining, but could you use quotation marks? It confused me there for a moment. (and yes, this man's boss will lie at the end of a dungeon, but keep it hush)

IC: The man frowned. "His name isnt imporatnt either, now leave, or I'll be forced to crush you under the snow." The man seemed serious. He was wearing a long robe with sleeves longer than his arms, hiding his hands. His face is hidden behind a mask that has strange markings on it. It's white, and has blue paint, with crystals lining the sides.

Orpheous:Crush me,aih, prepare to die.
OOC:Am I insane or what? I got no weapon, because I'm a scholar and I can't use my sword. I can still fight can't I?

"Naive little welp. Fine. If you are the agressive type, that thinks they can win, then come at me." The man seemed more than confident in his abilities.

Ic:Orpheous uses Human Ingenuity.
OOC:Is that or is that not how I go about using it? By the way, I promise that when I attack I will put it in awesome formate, because I read the rules set and stuff. Thus by using good format, I can attack again, I think, and nothing is cooler than that.

OOC: All toy have to do is declare it. I am the one who created the topic, so all you have to do is attack, and use skills. It's up to me to do all the calculating if it hits or not. And what is Human Ingenuity? I've never heard of it, and i cant find it in the skills section. This is good practice and knoledge for you. Im glad I'm able to help.

OOC: It is under the statement that humans get +3 strenght. Do I attack again?
Ic:Suddenly, with out any under standing a man throws a deku staff at Orpheous. Orpheous picks it up, and suddenly masters the art of the deku staff. He and the deku staff became one.
Orpheous:I think, I shall call you Darsoula.
NPC(Name not avaible)(I hope you don't mind):What are you doing?
With out a word, Orpheous lunges at the man with the staff, hitting him in the side chest area, and knocking him to the ground(I hope that is ok).
Note:I think the damage for a deku staff is 9. Just bought it, son(jk.)

OOC: Ok wtf? lol! No you cant write my NPC falling to the ground. It depends on if it hits. We'll see. And please, try quoatation marks, it's hard to read without them present.

IC: The masked man of Ice watched the attack sail straight into his stomach.
[AGI + Roll= 14] VS [DEF + AGI= 6] "Hmm... This is interesting." The man muttered as he landed, 9 damage being dealt to him. "You have the fighting spirirt within you, do you not?" The masked man clasped his hands together, and muttered a few words in moblinish. Suddenly, ice crystals shot from every direction! [elemental explosion]
[SPI + Roll= 13] VS [20] The man with the staff was hit head on by the magical attack, dealing 8 DMG to him. "Dont underestimate me. I'm merely limiting my power." The masked man then leapt back a few feet, preparing for the following attack.

OOC: Bed time, laterz

Orpheous quickly recovered from the painfulll attack. Orpheous raised his staff to attack. The first step he took toward the masked man he staggered, for he was still recovering. He,then, ran at the enemy at full speed. He made a jump before he reached the man, and with a well delived blow, he impounded the man on the head(good?).
OOC:Quick question, say I was in a fight with one of my NPC's along side my Main character, not that I will this fight, but is that ok.

OOC:, it's fine, but your NPC must have beginner stats ( I believe). I would (again) as Royal Guard or MG. I suggest you ask all these questions at the forum i made.

IC: The man's attack [AGI + Roll= 8] VS [DEF + AGI= 4] hit the masked man head on! He seemed to be taking the attacks directly, and on purpose. For what purpose is unknown. The masked man lowered his arms from his defensive stance, with 9 more damege tacked on (it should have been 10 dmg, last time too, i screwed up, but he's out of HP anyways).The man's mask shattered from the recent attack. His hair, which was snow white, hid his face. He slowly looked up at Orpheous. He was... smiling?

How he would be smiling after such an attack would be beyond anyones wildest imagination. He stood up completely, and formed two large energy balls. They were bright white, and had an aura comming from them. Suddenly his expression changed, he closed his eyes, and the energy faded from his hands. "I understand." Is all that he said. He then floated into the blizzard that had started up behind him, and dissapeared. Four words echoed through the snowy death trap: "We will fight again..." No trace of the man.

Suddenly, out of the blizzard, leapt a man in red and black armor! He let out a battle cry, and shoved his sword, which was covered in blood, deep into the snow. He fell to his knees, and rested one hand on the hilt of his blade. "Damnit!" He cried, pounding the snow covered ground with his free fist. He looked up to see Orpheous standing before him. "You! Did you see a man in a mask run by here?" He stood up, and a look of hope shimmred in his eyes.
