this is the first time in one of these sorts of RPG and im a bit lost. i have read through the Rules Set but im still unsure at the process of making a character. could someone plese post a step by step guide on making a character. ie: choose a race, choose a class etc. also is there a list of items that you can choose to begin with.

hullo, again. first you might wanna come up wit hone of the races, shiekah, goron, etc. then ya need a main class so just type that n your propfile...then you need a base class, but we'll talkk about that later...finally, no, you need to buy your strarting equiptment with the oney you earn through posts, and no spamming ,please...

EDIT: I see ytou've already doe all of thast, except for a name, youre character is created. now all you gotta do is get your stats from the rules set for your class, plus the bonus stats for rade, and you got it made....

Even though, as Kasei said, you appear to have already done a bit of decision-making, let's see what we can do to answer those questions of yours! (Nogare's going to try and kill me again for helping out a newcomer before he can, but . . . that's a risk I'm willing to take )

Alright, you've got seven different races to choose from, each one of offers a boost to a certain Base Stat. Base stats, BTW, are STR (strength), DEF (defense), AGI (agility), INT (intelligence), and SPI (spirit). The seven races are:

Gorons - +3 to STR
Deku - +3 to AGI
Zora - +1 to SPI (more impressive than it sounds, since SPI affects one's HP [health points] and SPL [magic power])
Fairy - +3 to INT
Human - +3 to DEF
Hylian - +3 to INT
Sheikah - +3 to AGI

Which race is right for you is completely up to you; it's your choice. If you want a character who is incredibly strong, then Gorons are good. A speedy character? Try Deku or Sheikah. Etc, etc. But you'll also want to consider the implications of which race you choose RP-wise. A Zora who loves to roast in the desert, while interesting, isn't really feasible, while that might fit a Goron rather well.

Onto the three classes. The three Base Classes are Scholars, Vagabonds, and Grunts, and each one has its own set of three Main Classes to choose from. You might want to look at these Main Classes when choosing which Base Class to go for, since, if you're musically inclined and might enjoy life as a Bard, you don't want to be going ahead and becoming a Grunt (since Bards are Vagabonds).

Which Base Class you choose also determines your main weapon. Grunts use Swords, Vagabonds hold Daggers, and Scholars wield Staffs. Any of these weapons can be purchased from Quartermaster Hithos.
