OOC: According to the TDC time line, 1676 A.C. is roughly 400 years before present day in HA2

IC: Kiafas Ichogal was a royal guard of the Emperor Canani who ruled this land long before it was Hyrule. Emperor Canani had a beautiful daughter, who he allowed no man to even touch. He planned to auction her off to the highest bidder on her 19th birthday. However, since Kiafas was always around the palace, she saw him, and fell in love. She was even forbidden to talk to a man other than her father and her most trusted male assistants. However, one day, she called to him. He started talking back to her, and it was like mid-evil flirting.

Since he was a royal guard, he could go anywhere he wanted to in the castle, no matter how forbidden the location. He began to go into her room when nobody else was there to spend "quality time" with her. One day, another royal guard caught him, and followed him to the room to confront him. As he walked in, she said that she loved the Kiafas and Kiafas alone, even if Kiafas could never buy her. She killed herself, and Kiafas was taken before Emperor Canani. Emperor Canani had him exiled on an island. However, he used magic spells he found on the island to summon a raft. He took a book of spells with him to resurrect his departed love.

He used the raft to cross to the mainland. He stole her body from the crypt to resurrect her. He took her to a chamber deep within Tantari Rock. However, before he could complete his spell, he was captured by the Emperor's spies, who killed him on the spot. Half of the warriors stayed behind to bury his body, and the other half returned the body of the daughter. They placed a spell of Kiafas that made sure he could never rise from the dead, however, every spell has an exception. If a kiss of a descendant of the daughter were to be laid upon his cheek, he would return and wreck havoc upon the cruel world that so harshly punished him.

{Hyrule, Tantari Rock, present day}

Well, time passed, seasons came and went, and this story was passed on. Only a certain tribe remembered it, and they thought it to be a childhood story. However, one day, do to the childish shenanigans of two stalfos, one pushing the other, a piece of rotting wood broke, reveling the tomb of Kiafas. Both stalfos died when the the wood broke and impaled them.

An adventure passed by and noticed it. He left the rock and told his friends. The word got out, and soon archaeologists were all over the sight. A female worker in the archaeologist society was named Elizabeth Canani. She never knew that she was adopted by Hyrulians. She was adopted from a village that belonged to the tribe who were the descendants of those who lived here before the Link and Tetra came.

Well, as they opened the coffin, one of her friends dared her to kiss the corpse of Kiafas. To defend her spunk, she kissed it. Suddenly, the sight was in chaos. Her kiss was a short peck to the cheek, and she quickly pulled her head back up, because she found it to be rather gross. She got a few glances from her friends as she turned back around to face them, the glances were kinda like a "I can't be believe you did that" glance. Then, they started pointing at her with a face of astonishment, pointing at her. Really, they were pointing beyond her, but she didn't know. "Oh, come on guys, it wasn't that hard," she stated, as to explain that they didn't need to treat her like living dead.

Then, she heard a spine-prickling shriek. She turned around and saw the living dead letting out a horrifying shriek. It's rotting head and chest were leaning up, as if he was sitting up, but still lying in his coffin. He put his legs out of the coffin, and started walking around testing out his body that had been dormant for roughly 400 years. By now, a man was smart enough to reach for a sword, and prepare it. He lunged it through Kiafas' chest. He pulled out the sword, and used it to slay another man who was prepared to shoot him with an arrow. He then used it on the man who ran it through him. He then put his hand to both the dead men's faces, and their flesh rotted drastically. Even though this killed them, he preformed necromancy on their corpses. By now, Elizabeth had started running away. She tripped and fell. She turned back to see that he had already turned half of her co-workers into his un-dead army.

Then, he turned his eyes for her. She tried to crawl away while still facing him, however, he was too fast. He grabbed her arm and pulled her towards him. Then, in an ancient language that practically nobody knows, he said to her, "I will make you mine, my queen."

He leaned over to kiss her, which would making him living again, and it would make him un-stoppable.

OOC: Topic open to anybody. Please save her, and have a logical reason for being here. That is all I have to say.

An arrow shot through the air, aiming right at the undead. Kasei Dornmos Gobi, the mercinary flame, had arrived! "Heh, I came here to get the stupid trophy for the dumbass mayor, but this is a neat side-quest, I hope you have money to pay me when i'm done with this guy!" Kasei exclaimed, taking a step towards the undead enemy. "I wanted to fight an undead anywhay, so for you, its half-priced!" Kasei said, getting into a fighting stance. I don't think the two hundred strikes of forbidding will work against an undead, os i'll have to use my fastest attacks against him, then finish him off with a powerfull blow. Wait, is it a dude or a chick?

OOC: you called, so I came!

OOC: Everybody, you can still post here, this post will be edited, but I needed to say this as fast as possible. Kasei, it is a guy, he is trying to kiss Elizabeth, what do you expect.

IC: The arrow hit him straight on. He let out of screech, but felt no pain. He threw Elizabeth to the ground, and started walking towards Kasei. His small army was to busy growing by bringing all the other dead archaeologists back to life. He grabbed Kasei's arm, and prepared to throw him at the wall.

"Your an annoyance. I don't like annoyances." Kasei stated, he then put magic in his feet, knowing what the undead was attempting to do, now he wouldn't budge an inch unless he wanted to. Fire surrounded the piece of Kasei's arm that the zombie grabbed, it had immesurable heat. "I guess its too late to say this, but I myself am not feeling well, and I don't want to fight, but I guess I have no choice!" Kasei said, drawing his scimitar, and swinging at the undeads neck.

OOC: Kasei, it can't be stopped by simply cutting off it's head, or burning up it's arm.

IC: The creature responded in the same ancient impossible to understand language, "Prince of Fire, it has been a long time. Attempting to kill me, as usual. You will fail, as usual."

OOC: The Prince of Fire comment was(even though Kasei couldn't possibly grasp the language) referring to somebody in the past who was like Kasei, very similar to Kasei.

IC: The head flew off and the hand became engulfed in flames. However, the hand didn't rot. The other hand picked up the head, put it back stiffly on the neck, and sliced a katana that was lying around at Kasei's legs in a horizontal motion. One hand still holding on to Kasei's arm, since Kasei would either have to have his legs cut off, or remove them from the ground.

The Kasei standing there burst into flame! "Heh, a fire clone, usefull for when I want to discern my enemies weaknesses. So, you can't die from simply being decapitated, and fire doesn't work, either. I suppose there arent many options left..." The real Kasei said, appearing out of shadowmeld. I gess my only bet, other than using "him" would be to greak this guys bones. Worth a shot! Kasei thought, then pumped a ton of power into his right fist and arm, he ran at the undead, and just as he got close, punched at his opponents chest, releasing all of the energy, so that even if the punch failed, the force of the magic would at least send his opponent flying.

The undead creature learned fast. The chest was cracked open, but he regenerated. The blow didn't send him flying because he sent his magic to his feet, to prevent them from moving. Kasei's arm, was however, stuck in the creatures chest. The beast sliced with the katana again, this time looking to cut off Kasei's right arm, and detach all of Kasei's magic that was in it.

Once again, Kasei appeared, but this time from around a corner. "this time i've got you!" He anounces, then points towards his clone, wich explodes. "Heh, thats one of the most powerfull fire-based attacks from my time, streangth wise, anyway, if he survived that, i'll be damned!" Kasei exclaimed. O.K, that probably didn't kill him, so i'll have to think up a strategy while he is distracted. If I had an ally, it would certainly be easier! Kasei thought.

"Woah, there!" yelled a voice, moving as if a blur around the room. "Need help, Fire-Adept?" asked the blur, as it stopped near Kasei, but still was a blur. "You don't exactly seem like you've got the upper hand."

"The Prince of Fire and the Boy who Ferries the Evil Spirit, this will be fun," said Kiafas in his strange and impossible to understand language. "I will kill you all." He was recovering from the explosion faster than Kasei thought he would, and Kasei was lucky Worru showed up. "MY ARMY, KILL THEM." The undead army turned to them, drew their weapons and charged.

"Acktoshun," screamed Elizabeth. The command made the soldiers freeze in their place. Kiafas turned to her, and Elizabeth took a dagger that had been lying in the coffin, and sent it though his body. It landed near the wall, but he fell to the ground. Apparently, this item was enchanted to kill the dead. If the wound had been fatal, the battle would have been over, however, it was only a side wound, and he started regenerating. "Get them," he called in the ancient language to his soldiers. Elizabeth turned to Kasei and the other stranger, and stated, "We better get out of here." However, soldiers blocked the door. Elizabeth drew a scimitar and prepared to fight, however, there would probably be no hope, even with these two strangers.

OOC: Enter Tayro, who should be joining us.

"Well, I guess thats it. I wasn't actually planning on running, anywhay. I chose to fight, its my destiny to see it through." Kasei said, drawing the scimitar. His eyes stared out at the enemy for what seemed an eternity. "O.k, I got it, if we just cut off all of his limbs, he shoud't be able to move, kay?" He said, smiling. "I may believe in fate, but I doubt it chose me to die in a place like this, no, I refuse to believe it!" Kasei said, charging forward, fire engulfing his body.

Kasei managed to cut off all of Kaifas's limbs, however, he simply regenerated. He grabbed the dagger that had pierced him, muttered a few magic words, and the enchantment around it disappeared. "Foolish Prince of Fire, you have no hope," he called out again in the ancient language. Some other soldiers who were like his body guards surrounded Kasei, and prepared to move in for the blow.

OOC: Enter Tayro. Also, Elizabeth knows the ancient language, she didn't know she knew it before today. Probably because she was born to the ancient tribe.

Nightmares do happen. Someone with a background like his would definitely know that. Imagine, he had fought more than once against these dark forces, he had entered someone's mind to save him from his Nightmare... Yes. Nightmares did happen, live, exist in this world. And they were not pleasant. Oh no they weren't, and in this case, you didn't have to have such backstory like that. Any person should know that themselves. Darkness, fear... two keywords matching the situation perfectly. No day would pass with Tayro hoping he had not to fight such deviously evil creatures. Destiny? Fate? A mix of both perhaps? Or maybe just dumb luck - or lack of it. Still... one thing Tayro would have to admit. He'd rather be fighting hordes of those than being in Tantari Rock like he was today. Something far more frightening, dark, evil, devious lied there. At least, in his point of view, the most frightening creatures of this world.

Zombies.

Even so, it was purely his fault for having accepted the dare, now wasn't it? Why, in the first place, did he have to go and enter the Pub in Rauru? He's not even old enough to drink alcoholic beverages - besides, they stink - so why did he have to go and enter to ask for a cup of Lon Lon Milk? And why did he have to meet a man who told him about a great archaeological find at Tantari Rock? The junior mage knew at that time it wasn't going to be safe, especially in such a land where everything happened. He knew it wasn't safe to go near dead bodies, but nooooo! The man had to sense his fear and dare him to go and examine it if the boy called himself an adventurer. Obviously, he couldn't go and back down on this challenge! What would the other guys think? That he was too scared to go visit a supposedly dead mummy? That wouldn't be nice... and if the Orphanage kids knew about it, even worse. So there he bolted, through the scorching desert sands of Tantari - and he hated deserts for their heat and discomfort, just to enter Tantari Rock.

He had been here previously, while searching for a golden trophy containing a Ruby, which the Ruto Mayor had apparently lost. He still remembered the swine-like way the man grabbed the item... unpleasant, it was. If he recalled correctly... Approaching himself in front of the wall, the boy looked to the left and right, trying to discern if he was exactly at the middle of the room. It seemed like it, so he walked two steps to his right, and looked towards the wall in front of him. Seventh counting from downwards, I believe - he pondered and pushed one of the bricks of the wall, the rectangular-shaped block moving inwards, a rumbling noise started. Immediately did part of the wall descend into the sands, as if a geared contraption was besides it. Yes, he had found once more the entrance to the hidden galleries of Tantari Rock. Walking in, he soon found the desired location of the excavation site, just in time to watch an explorer lean in on the coffin. The boy backed away. Being that near to a dead body was too yucky for his likes, and he decided to maintain his distance...

...until it all went mad. Frozen in place, the boy saw the most horrifying scene of his life. The corpse... got up. A. Zombie. He was petrified - he tried moving a muscle to run away the fastest possible, but his brain wouldn't obey his own commands. Little by little did he see everyone in the crew being transformed into creatures of the damned, and two strangers joining in to fight the evil, demented creature. And worst of all - it talked in a strange language the boy couldn't understand. It was just like what he had heard of these foul creatures - they were immortal, and immune to any attack - they couldn't be killed because they were already dead... yet cursed to continue on this land. The fight intensified, yet he couldn't do a thing. He just stood there, face even paler than usual - and that was not an easy prowess, his hair normally messy and going down on his head seemed, to him, that were now all stretched up out of fear. He tried getting to his staff and do... anything, but was unable to. Thus, he just stood there, unmoving, trying to fight away his own fear.

In all the commotion occuring around them, Elizabeth's bracelet fell off. When it hit the ground, everybody movement was cut down to a twentieth of there normal movement speed. Everybody that is, except for Kasei, the blurred man, Tayro, and Elizabeth. At first she was shocked. She didn't know what happened, but it did, and once the bracelet was picked up, things would probably go back to normal. "Come on, guys," she called to the Kasei and the blur. To those who were normal, it sounded normal, but to those with reduced movement speed, it was like listening to a fast forwarded voice, at 20 times the fast forwarding speed. She began running for the door, simply knocked the soldiers out of the way, they were probably moving so fast they were invisible. However, Kiafas could see that the bracelet caused the effect. He was slowly moving to pick it up. Then Elizabeth ran right into Tayro, literally. "Come on," she said, getting up after she fell down from hitting him. She offered her hand to help him up.

The blurred man smiled, his form now invisible to anything not affected by the slow down in time. In a red and black flash, visible only by those who were at normal speed, he dashed towards the braclet, and picked it up, dashing back to Kasei after doing so. "Miss! What should I do with this?" he asked, moving his form over to Elizabeth. She was the one who had it, so he had to ask her what he was supposed to do.
