North Castle Town.
It was as busy as ever. People bustling through the streets. It would be enough to make one wonder what so many people could be doing everyday. This was not the concern of a certain group of people, however. This group of people couldn't care any less about Hyrule's citizens than Ganondorf himself could. A tall man in a mask stood near the drawbridge. His cloak reached up to touch his chin, and fell all the way to his knees, where his shins were visible. They would be, if a white tape hadn't been wrapped around them. He wore a pair of Kokiri boots that seemed to throw off the balance of his clothing. His mask was that of a skull, which looked eerily like Ikana's King's corpse. Of course, no normal man would be able to tell this without knowing a good deal of Ikana history. His blue hair fell over a part of the mask, and was spiked on his head. He watched the roads of North Castle Town carefully. As if a statue, he didn't make a single move. His eyes shifted towards the roof a far off building. His eyes focused, and his vision pierced the buildings obstructed his view. He saw straight through them, his comrade who was positioned on a rooftop.
This man was also wearing a dark cloak that swallowed his form. He was small, and he rested his elbows on the building's walls that protruded up past the roof of the building. The figure's mask was that of an ancient beast that once guarded the Wind Temple. He seemed to have his eye on North Castle. He stared at the fortress for a good time, before he shifted his attention to another one of his allies, who stood atop the tallest building in North Castle town. He was tall and thin, with the stature of a pencil. His black hair hung over his mask, which slightly resembled another ancient beast, which was once sealed under the earth of Kakariko. However, that was only folklore, and not many would have heard of the tail. His black cloak matched his boots, which were barely visible. He looked over his comrades. He spotted the short man, and locked eyes with him. The tiny one was quick to look back to North Castle. He turned his gaze to he who was positioned by the drawbridge. Now satisfied with the knowledge that they were in position, he turned to another hidden man.
He was hardly visible, but didn't escape the thin man's eyes. He was standing just behind a popular tavern, and his arms were folded. He had done good to hide his weapon, as the sheath itself wasn't visible under his cloak, which only covered below his waist. His torso was riddled with straps, and compartments that would make anyone un-easy. This man's mask... was only black. A simple dark cover that hid his facial features covered his face, and actually wrapped around his head, and tied up in the back. The large man shifted his gaze once more to another location. However, this time, his vision failed to pick up a trace of any presence. The man raised two fingers to the side of his head.
Boss. Doku is missing.
We have twenty more minutes before the sun completely sets... Give him time.
Boss... If in the scenario that he doesn't show...
Doku is almost always late. He'll be there. If he's not there in fifteen minutes, we'll have no other option, but to abort.
I understand. I'll alert the others of the plan. And Phyrouse?
He's with me, as we planned.
Understood. I'll contact you if we need to change the course of action.
The man cut the telepathic line he had first created, and was now setting up more to contact his allies. After the telepathic message was sent, he received three synchronized replies.
Understood.
Minutes ticked by before Doku finally appeared in his position. The tall man sighed, and created more telepathic links to update his crew. After they had been notified, the plan was signaled to begin. The night sky had finally fallen over Hyrule, and the plan was now to be set into motion. People began to clear out of the streets, which gave the two men on ground level an easier passage. Silently, the group made their way to North Castle.
Those documents belong to us. This mission must be successful.
The boss added in, before they began to close in... One guard dropped, and then two. Without a noise, they began to infiltrate the castle. Their motives, are yet unknown...
OOC: This is the second topic to "??? [The meeting]
They've finally set their plan into action. This is interactive, so feel free to "notice" whats going on. This is big, and will play a part later in my story. Actually, this is where the fork in the road hits. If you choose not to stop, them or just fail trying, they'll receive what they're after, and my story will change. If you succeed, things will definitely be easier for you later on. This is, like I said, the first interactive part of my story (to anyone who wants to join). Have fun kiddies.

As this group made their way through the castle, they walked past a corridor. However, before this corridor, a man stepped out from behind. He was dressed in a cloak and his hood was up, shadowing his face. The middle of the cloak was parted. His shirt was made out of bokoblin hides. Underneath the shirt were gray robes that went down his legs, all the way to his sandals. Around his neck, he wore a strange metallic amulet that had the symbol of a stone on it. He tried to cut off the group, but made no attempt to thwart their attempts.
He spoke in a deep inhuman, almost demonic, voice. "My name is Vilk, and wish to aid you. It is obvious to me that you wish infiltrate the castle. In return of this favor I ask of you, you may pay me in rupees, or pay off your debt by doing missions for my boss, the Nightengale. He leads the organization called the Master of Destruction. So, what do you say? It looks like you need some help."

The group of men stopped at the doorway. There was a silence, before all but the tall man with the mask of the Kakariko beast, and Doku, moved swiftly into the castle. The tall man whispered something to Doku, before he too disappeared into the castle to pursue his comrades. Doku was a medium sized man. A metal mask shielded the top half of his face from view. He wasn't clothed strangely, however, one couldn't recall anyone wearing the same type of outfit. He wore a brown tethered T-shirt which ran down to an odd garb. It was most likely meant to be a full body cloak, but it was folded down from his torso, and only covered the lower part of his body. He was also wearing a pair of loose boots, that were tied tightly to his shins.
"We appreciate your offer. But there is a reason that only a small group our little... organization, or so to speak, is here for this job. We don't pay anyone, and we certainly don't accept help from strangers." Doku frowned, and folded his arms. "Now get out of here. You're slowing us down. And if you decide to tell anyone what you saw here today... you'll die... along with anyone you've been in contact with. Choose your actions wisely. I hope we never have to meet again." With that said, Doku turned, and darted inside. A few sounds were heard from inside... and then nothing but the howling wind of the night, which was setting in deeper and deeper...

He called to Doku as he departed, "Turns out that today is my lucky day, I don't need any of you slowing me down either. You people looked skilled, and that you could offer me help. I was assigned to kill Sal Nicholas, one of the king's advisers. He is too close the king, and would never let him out of his sight. We need to eventually convince the king to help us," stated Vilk. "However, since you won't let me help you, I'm going alone." He cast his right hand down in a diagonal right downward thrust. A flash of occurred and he was gone.
Only later would the new state that Sal Nicholas was dead, and many other of the kings workers who were hanging out with Sal Nicholas were dead as well. They had been slayed with a katana, and a mark was written in the room. It looked something like this.....

The shadowmeld became undone, and Kasei appeared not too far away. The rebel flame heard the whole conversation, and was certain that this wasn't good. "Strange things be afoot. I suppose Sosei will want to hear about this, after all, he is the one who led us in the first place." He said, before turning down an alley, and vanishing into the wind, or at least, thats waht it looked like. The shiekah warrior himself appeares not too far behind the group, smiling. "And what are we up to this fine night?" He asked, a sincere smile on his face. He didn't look confident, but he didn't think he'd lose either.
OOC: ZV, if this turnes into a stat fight, can I use my edited stats? (See last post in profile.)

You're supposed to follow. I didn't want his NPC to follow my group and help them beat down Hyrule's forces though. I'll need a group of people to stop them, but nobody seems to interested XD Feel free to follow along Kasei.

OOC: Okay...I'm in Utah...incredibly tired...This may be the only post I'll be able to squeeze out, since I have a habit of posting incredibly long intros Excuse me if it's subpar this time...
IC:Saber was strolling through the square, doing something he had never done before--He was actually looking for Burlo. The rotund drunk had promised to help him with magical resistance, although the mercenary had no idea how the inebriated annoyance would accomplish something like that. Unless, of course, he had a magical malt. I suppose being drunk would dull the pain. Saber reasoned, a bit irritated at Burlo's tardiness. Although I don't think that would actually decrease the magic's effect...Maybe the poor guy's lonely. He thought, and he actually began to pity the drunk.
He bumped into a rather voluptous woman, loaded down with bags contianing all sorts of random items she had gotten from the stalls. He tried to stutter out an apology as he retrieved the fruits of her haggling, which had scattered over the ground after the collision. It wasn't the easiest thing to do with an overweight lady pelting him with the only bag she had kept a grip on and screaming her displeasure. Saber finally managed to replace all the spilled goods, and handed them up to her. When she had finally departed with her day's purchases, still babbling her reprimandations as she trundled home, he collapsed onto his stomach, his head pounding from the barrage. He didn't care that people were staring; It was only when he felt a tap on his shoulder that he moved.
Wonder who that is? Opening his eye a slit, he saw it was getting late, the square was emptying, and the loud chatter was decreasing, making the small fountain's steady roar more evident. Guess Burlo didn't show. Might as well get headed home. Probably have to camp somewhere overnight.. Turning onto his back, he sat up a little and fully opened his eyes. He yelled in shock as two small, bright green spheres blinked back at him from inches away. Scooting backwards in a crabwalk, he finally reprimanded his unexpected visitor none-too-kindly. "BURLO!" He yelled, then quieted down as he realizied he was attracting a few more looks, although the anger was still evident. "I told you to stop startling me like that! A mercenary's life is hazardous enough without having heart attacks every few days!"
The fat drunk gave a wheezing laugh as he disregarded the displeasure in Saber's voice. "Don' be like that, mate! Thought ye'd still be here, jes' wond'rin if ye're gunn do de magic resisticatin' trainin' 'r not." The drunk had straightened up, the top of his tophat fluttering up a bit as he rocked back and forth on his bursting shoes, his childish eyes inquisitive.
Saber gave a heavy sigh as he stood, dusting off his pants, straightening his tunic, and brushing his hair aside. "Fine. I guess we can still do the training, even though you're not even close to being on time." He said as he looked to the side and sniffed. The scent of alcohol off the bum was even worse than usual--He must have spent the time at a pub, no doubt loading up even more. "So where do you want to--Hold on." He broke off his query as he saw a peculiar sight. It may have just been a trick of the light, as the sun descended over the hills, but he could have sworn he saw a guard vanish. Looking more closely, he saw another one do the same--except now he could tell he had fallen limply. "Burlo, we'll have to do this later." He said as he started to jog towards the castle, his speed increasing steadily. Hearing Burlo's protests, he called over his shoulder, "Something's not right! I'm sorry, but I have to check this out!"
Burlo removed his hat momentarily and scratched the mess of tangled hair on top of his head, before replacing it and starting after his 'friend' at a determined, breakneck waddle. "I ain't lettin' me mate do a suicide mission wit'out me!" He said to himself, although he could see Saber's back growing smaller quickly--There was no way he would catch up to him like this. With a smirk, he reached into his cloak while still running and pulled out a small, splintered staff. He waved it as sparks flew from it, and in a second he was there no longer.
Saber glanced over his shoulder; he had thought he had heard Burlo say something, but when he looked, the drunk was no longer there, but he could swear there was a ball of light. Disregarding it as a drunk's longing for a pub, he hurried ahead. In his time looking away, the group had snuck in, and he saw the faint retreating cloaks. The confirmation that something was wrong only fueled him, and he stopped only momentarily to check the guards as he reached the Castle--They were definitely dead. He drew his saber and held it to his face, bowing his head and closing his eyes in a moment of silence for the murdered guards, then continued on his way, holding his blade out behind him as he sped down the corridor, gaining on the group, although it was probably because they had been stopped by another man.
He lowered his body to become more streamlined and increase his velocity, valiantly reaching into the depths of his strength, pushing himself to the limit in order to reach the infiltrators. He shielded his eyes at a bright flash of light, and once his sight had returned to him, he saw that the group had disappeared behind a door. He grit his teeth as he slipped through the doorway, contorting his body so as not to lose momentum, and finally reached the group.
He went into a slide, throwing his feet forward, skidding past them, and then put his foot down, skipping up to his feet and whirling to face the infiltrators, his saber slashing viciously towards them to stop their progress as he set himself into a defensive stance, his legs out to the side and his knees bent into a semi-crouch, his left hand unbuckling the sheath from his belt and then reaching across so that the hard case was protecting his stomach, his saber pulling back from his strike as he pulled the hilt upwards, pointing the blade down from it's high position, the curving tip pointed meaningfully at the chest of whoever happened to be in the lead. A smile spread across Saber's face as his inner child whooped-- That was the sweetest entry EVER!!! I am SO cool! However, he forced himself to maintain a serious outlook--These men had already killed, doubtless they wouldn't care if they had to remove one more pest with a sword. However, he couldn't help but to build on his bravado.
"Evening, gentlemen." He said in an even, in-control voice, glaring confidence into their eyes. "Taking a stroll on this fine night? Can't blame you; However, I must let you know that this place is off limits." He saw Kasei was behind them--He hadn't recognized the Rebel Flame in his mad dash. I don't know if he's with these guys or against them. He thought as he gave the warrior a glance of acknowledgement before resuming his confident gaze towards the infiltrators. I may have bitten off more than I can chew this time...
OOC: Okay. carpal-tunnel inducing, ten-paragraph intro completed. They really need to change the rupee system to give you more for huge posts--I really can't believe I'm getting the same amount of experience for this as Sovelis got for his
"Long time no see Dogura." Sovelis said as he thrust his sword.

I'ma go to sleep now...

Leth hurried along the streets of castle town to his house. Glancing up at the sky, he shivered. The atmosphere was upsetting him. Extremely. He paused. Something was not right. He was needed somewhere, to do something. He sighed. Rushing into the house, he summoned Karuna and Drommlin from the table. "Somethings afoot." He said. "I don't know what, but I intend to find out. Come on." The two followed behind without a word." Leth glanced up at the sky once again, but this time he seemed to look past the sky. Din, Farore, Nayru... lend me your aid. He thought. Hopefully his connection to the deities through his warrior form would be enough to acquire their help. It worked! He got a vague feeling from the direction of the castle. He hurried through the streets, following this tendril of a vibe. When he felt he was getting close, he side tracked so he wouldn't be directly upon it and could approach it from a safe point. Looking ahead, he saw Kasei and Saber in front of a group of four strangers. Approaching them, he saw the dead guards, and connected them to the strangers. Looking directly at them, the feeling pulsed once, then faded away into nothing. Leth eyed them. "Hello, hello, hello. What's all this, then?" He asks.

Everything seemed to happen at once. The man who had been set as the leader of this small group, the tall, skinny man, stood just before Saber's blade. At that same moment, two men had appeared around them. The group hid beneath their cloaks, barely viewable in the dim light of the torches that lit the room. The tall man's voice was deep, but smooth and clear.
"This was none of your business... But you all just made it your business."
His mask covered his face, however, the presence of a sinister smile was felt around the room. "Tremor... You should be enough to handle these fools... After you've taken care of the bodies, you'll be too far behind to catch up, and operate as planned. Instead, wait down here, and don't let anyone pass you. We'll come back and pick you up on the way back to base..." The fact that the tall man had used his comrade's name so freely, showed that he was confident that nobody would leave this room alive. A small figure, the smallest of the group appeared behind Saber in a quick movement, and held his arms in a locked position. The rest of the group breezed past, and continued further into the castle. The tallest man put two fingers to his head, just as he had before, and telepathically made a connection.
Boss... We ran into a little bit of trouble. Tremor is dealing with them at the moment. Jaykin informed me that they didn't seem to have powerful auras... However, one of them worried him.
What do you mean... "Worried him"?
He says that one of them... didn't have any kind of unusual aura. however, this particular person seems confident. He's either a extremely skilled, or extremely stupid.
I understand. And Tremor will be able to operate as planned? How long will he be?
Well... You know Tremor. He likes to take his time. So thats a negative. We'll proceed without him. I'll be able to fill his position.
Then we proceed as planned. This must be a success! Failure is not an option!
I understand. I'll contact you before we proceed to step two.
I put you in charge for a reason Crowe. Don't let me down. Phyrouse and I will be waiting.
Affirmative. Crowe, out.
The tall man dropped his arm to his side, and lead the group up a long flight of stairs, before they came to a long narrow hallway. Crowe stopped, and stared for a moment. Guards and knights stood before them. "We've received reports of you! This is the end of the line for you!" They each held their weapons to their direction. Spears, javelins, swords, and crossbows were aimed in their direction. A single man from the group stepped forward. Doku stood before the guards... as a smile crept across the visible part of his face...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --
The small cloaked man, released his hold on the mercenary, and stood before them, and the hallway that his group had just disappeared from. The hallway was long, and had a few windows on the left side, where the wall of the castle ran along the outside. A few pictures hung on the walls where torches didn't blaze. A few corridors extended from the hallway. The small man sneered. "Did you think it was smart to follow us in here? I'm sorry, but you've seen and heard too much. I have no choice but to take your life." He tossed off his black cloak, the torch-light revealing him. He wore a jerkin, which ran under the many straps that ran across his form. A shiny buckle could be seen gleaming in the light provided.
"You die now! All three of you!"
OOC: This battle will be strictly RP! If people want to join like I hope they do, they may emerge into the castle, and aid Saber, Leth, and Kasei. Have fun trying to overcome Tremor!

Kasei stared at the new opponent, his face emotionless as he drew his scimitar in his right hand and prepared fire magic. This one seems different from normal enemies, I could need my real power. The rebel flame thought, as he appeared behind Tremor, and swung his blade. Emiedietly after his attack, he vanished, and appeared a short distance away, fire in his left hand and his scimitar in the other. Time to see how I match up against people of this land.

OoC: My NPC's are here too; they go with Leth wherever he goes. That would be Drom, Karuna, and Polari.
IC: Leth drew his twin daggers and twirled them expertly. "Let's see what you're made of." He says with a hint of humor. He glanced back. "Karuna, you take Drommlin and see if you can follow the others. Polari, Kasei, Saber and I will hold 'Tremor' off. Leth Looked back at their enemy, and charged him with his daggers raised high for the blow. Polari jumped off of Leth's shoulder and landed with incredible expertise, and cast THUNDER on Tremor, being sure to envelope Leth in a bubble of safety before hand, just in case.

OOC: Leth, you can't just have your NPCs come out of nowhere like that...Besides, ZV said he only wants one NPC at most. Please respect his wishes.
Alright, I'm ready to post. Here we go then.
IC: Well. That was slightly less cool. Saber thought gloomily as he suddenly found himself in submission, his arms locked by this Tremor person. He glared at the rest of the group as they passed by, and suddenly felt the pressure on his arms release. He stumbled forward a bit, resisting the urge to rub the sore spots where he had been held. He looked up into the eyes of his enemy, who had maneuvered in front of him and apparently was attempting to flash him. Thankfully, he was clothed beneath the cloak, and the mercenary decided not to waste the opportunity while Tremor was preoccupied with arming himself.
He rose his blade, preparing to use the Relic maneuver on the short man, when suddenly Kasei came out of nowhere, hacking at the enemy who was but a foot away. Saber leaned backwards to avoid the blade; Too far, in fact. He nearly fell flat on his back, but thrust his sheath out behind him, catching himself and backflipping once the sword had passed safely over him. He decided that now was a good time to go for the banter, as he composed himself for another strike. He put on his best cocky smile and answered Tremor's previous statement. "Oh, you're right about one thing. You don't have a choice. Unfortunately, I don't think your only option is one you're going to enjoy!" He said, snickering as he charged on the last word. He raised his blade to strike again when he felt a sudden jolt--The Minish's Thunder spell had used the Saber as a conductor, and though the wrapping on the hilt insulated the electricity somewhat, it still wasn't a very pleasant sensation to be feeling.
Saber tried to drop the charged blade, but the voltage had caused him to lose control of his muscles, and he couldn't remove even one finger from the hilt. So he ended up just standing there for a few seconds as the charge ran up and down the blade, his hair starting to stand on end and his muscles twitching. Finally, the voltage decreased to a safer level, although he still felt a bit of a buzz of electricity. He decided to release the pain in the form of anger, yelling at his allies, "Damn it! Watch what you're doing!" With a vicious snarl, he finally brought the blade up for a third time as he darted forward, and stabbed downaward towards the chest of Tremor.
