Cathy was talking with Soteto. They walked side by side. Soteto cracked a joke, Cathy started laughing. She felt at peace being here in Hyrule. Maybe because there wasn't an annoying, hyper active blonde girl with cat ears and a tail, that always seemed to twitch, always chatting nonsense to her. She kept walking on walking-

"Cathy!"
-and then was tackled to the ground by the certain blonde.

"Oh my God! I missed you so much! Did you miss me?" KiKi got a muffled answer. "I'll take that as a yes! I'm so glad!" KiKi got off of Cathy and started to look around. "Wow, this place is so beautiful! I could run around in fields for hours! OH! Happy 16th Birthday! Do you feel older? Do you feel more energetic? I do! Every year I get more energy!" She took a deep breath in. "Wow! It smells nice here! Not as good as the peppermint smell of Kito Village though!"

"KiKi-"

"I wonder what there is to do here." KiKi tripped and fell to the ground. She started laughing. "Oops!" She got to her feet and stared into space. She snapped her fingers. "You know what, we haven't discoverd who your secret admirer is! We need to find out who he is! We'll look under rocks and everything. You never know, they could be a tiny thing!" She bent down and started looking under a rock.

"KiKi-"

"Oh! Didn't Andakee ask if you and Kerokee would get married one day?" KiKi questioned. Cathy's face turned red. "Maybe he has cleared up his mind and is going to ask you to be his girlfriend. That would be so cute!" KiKi walked back to Cathy. "Say, do you still have that birthmark on your neck?" She peeked at Cathy's neck. "Wow, you do!"

Cathy's fist were balling up. Resist. . . urge. . . to beat KiKi. . . to a pulp.

KiKi's tail was hitting Soteto in the face. Finally put to the edge, Soteto pulled at her tail, reseving a yelp. KiKi turned around to yell at whoever had pulled her tail, but her face turned into a grin.

"Soteto! It's been so long since we last met! I missed you so much!" KiKi hugged Soteto. "Oh! Maybe you might be Cathy's admirer! Oh! Cathy!" She turned back to the zora. She placed her hands on her hips and tried to look serious. "Maybe you should try to smile more! That admirer note could have been fake." She walked over to the scowling girl. "Come on! It takes less muscles to smile then frown!" She tried to put a smile on her face. "Come on! It's easy."

Where is Kayla when you really need her?

"Fishface, who's your friend?"

There it was, the voice of Ryokiden, same as ever, but now looking much different. He had on an open black robe, material more leather than cloth, revealing a red and black suit within. His hair was spiker than before, and longer as well, with a bang on each side of his face. His hair and eyes were still red, and his claws and boots were still connected directly to his skin. To add to these changes, he had black whisker marks on his cheeks, as well as sharp canines in his mouth. Why? Because this was Ryokiden's body, not shared by any other. He came up, grinning as he looked at Cathy.

Cathy stared at Ryk. She stared some more. There was something different about him, but she couldn't put her finger on it. (Yes, she's dense sometimes XD) She racked her brain to see what was different. He looked more like. . . a demon? He definatly wasn't using Worru's body. "Hey! How did you seperate yourself from Worru?"

No sooner could he have answered, since KiKi walked up to him and screamed in his ear, "HI! MY NAME IS KIKI!!!" Cathy stared at KiKi and sighed. "What?"

"I bet you made him deaf," Cathy muttered. She placed one of her hands on her face and shook her head. KiKi tilted her head and thought about that.

"You know, that's happened to people before, and they blame me, but I don't know why," KiKi said.

Ryk slowly turned to look at the strange girl, rubbing the tip of one of his ears, which were obviosuly pierced with two blue earrings in the left. "M'name's Ryk, girlie. I'll take it you're an..." he looked over at Cathy for a moment, "aquaintince of ole' fishface here." he said, before taking a step back and looking over the newcomer.

KiKi's cat ears twitched. Her tail swished back and forthed. "Hm, Ryk? You have a weird name." Cathy snorted in the background. Yep, KiKi was still the same. "Anyways! I'm KiKi Powder, daughter of the greatest magician all time!" Cathy clamped a hand on her shoulder.

"If your dad is the greatest magician, then why is it that all the spells that he use suddenly become illegal?" Cathy questioned.

"He's just- uh- clumsy?" KiKi said, shrugging. KiKi looked around and smiled. "I wanna run around."

Cathy pat her on the back and sighed. "Go knock yourself out." No sooner where those words out, KiKi had turned around and ran off, dust trailing behind her.

Cathy sighed. "My aunt was hoping that she would rub off of me, but I just feel so tired when around her."

Ryk grinned, before turning to the still taller Zora. "So, the cat says you have a secret admirerer? Heh, can't think of any reason someone'd like you. I mean, sure, you're strong, a good friend, and able to punch a lifelike clone of me straight into the forest, but you don't have any good qualities otherwise." he said, clawed hands behind his head.

Cathy pulled out her sword, but Soteto stopped her from chopping up Ryk. "You know, you haven't gotten to know her very well. She actually has a cute laugh." Soteto pinched her cheek. "And she looks so adorable when she blushes." Cathy slapped away his hand.

Cathy sighed. "I think you guys should just drop it about the admirer. I got the note when I was 10 and haven't heard anything from then. It was just a joke thing. No one really liked me in school, and they still don't." KiKi came back into view and tackled Cathy to the ground again.

"Aw, but we all love you!" KiKi exclaimed.

"God, you're heavy," Cathy muttered. "And have you ever heard of personal space? It's something that I have, and you really shouldn't be getting in my bubble."

"I don't see no bubble," KiKi said stupidly.

"What fishface means is th-WHAT THE HELL!?" Ryk yelled, grabbing his throat quickly. That familiar demonic tone to his voice was gone, replaced with that of his normal, slightly strange-accented voice. His breath quickened for a moment, but he soon calmed down. "I'm alright...I'm alright." he mumbled, now looking back at the group. "Fishface meant that you need to stay about two or three feet away from her." he said, though he sounded irritated still.

"Just because someone cannot physically manifest a bright blue bubble, that doesn't mean that they don't have one, Kiki." Sovelis said from several feet away. "You seem to be dragging allot of your friends into this world Cathy." he said, looking at the zora girl on the ground. "And if I was a zora, I'd think you were cute."

Sovelis held his hand forward and let a little spell come forth from hiding. Suddenly, a bright blue sphere of magical energy swirled around the Tempest. "Thats my bubble. Its allot harder to pop that Cathy's is."

Ryk made something that sounded like a forced chuckle when he turned to Sovelis, the now, for the most part, un-demon demon forcing himself to grin. "She isn't...cute, Sovvy. No way in all the hells I've been through could she be considered cute." he said, making sure not to look at Cathy, but before he had finished, he mumbled some words under his breath.

"Well, if you like the dangerous type, then I'm the best girl," Cathy said. "WILL YOU GET OFF OF ME?" She looked up at the blonde girl. KiKi just smiled.

"Nope."

Cathy sighed. She banged her head on the ground. Someone started fiddling with her long elf ears, but she didn't look up.

"You know, I remember when that one puppy came up and started drooling on your ears because they were so long. They look a little longer now," KiKi said.

"KiKi."

"Yeah?"

"Shut. . . Up. . ."

Ryk stood there for a moment, one claw under his chin as he looked as though he was thinking something through. His experession brightened, snapping his fingers as he did a quick "I got it!", and held out one of his claws. above the palm of his hand, an orb of blue energy was created, floating around his hand. "Hey, cat girl, wanna' play with this?" he asked.

KiKi scowled. "Just because I have cat ears and a tail doesn't mean that you can use a stupid orb just to-"

"Go ahead," Cathy mumbled.

"Gimme that!" KiKi shouted, jumping off of Cathy.

Soteto looked at Cathy with a wide smile. "Now I understand why you use to carry around a ball of yarn."

"Comes in handy with cat girl around," Cathy said.

Ryk grinned, making sure to throw the ball very, very, very far away from the small group. He walked over, still grinning, as he stretched out his arm to put his hand on Cathy's shoulder. "You must be so lucky to still have family. Mine are all dead, and in another dimension's spirit realm." he said.

Cathy frowned at Ryk. "My mom is dead, my dad is dead, and my older brother had his life taken from him by a shift shaper and then the shape shifter came after me and almost killed me. My aunt hates me because of my personality, and my uncle is rarely around. I grew up mostly by myself. Boohoo about your family." Cathy rubbed her head and frowned. She let out a sigh. "Well, my life isn't that bad. Kayla had to watch most of her friends get killed. A big spider thing came and attacked her. It killed one of her closest friends. And people wonder why she's so afraid of spiders." Cathy sighed again and thought about the group. Kerokee's mom had divorced his dad. Lee didn't have his memory. Kyle had no parents besides his step mom. Alex lived in the orphange all of his life. Aero never talked about his life. Soteto didn't have a dad. Kayla went from family to family her whole life. Sarah saw her parents get killed. KiKi worked ever since her mother was crushed to death. Basicly, Ashley was the only one who didn't experience anything bad. "We have all had our own problems."
