"Why are we even bothering?" A familar reddish-haired mage whined.

"Because you need to get off your lazy ass every now and then. Come on, isn't it going to be fun? The Twilight Realm! Always wanted to go there," Mirielle said, beaming widely. "So, my little Seth, where's Arrika and your Tempest?"

"Just ahead," Seth said, grumbling to himself. He didn't like Mirielle at all, but the frantic look on Arrika's face when she'd sent him to find the two mages had convinced him that Sovelis had felt the rift when his sister had gone. At first he'd have done anything to follow after Sela and keep her from leaving, but now... He wasn't too sure anymore. And he hated being so indecisive.


"Erm, I told Seth to meet us here," Arrika said. "He's late as usual. Bet Rhyss tried protesting again. But Mirielle was there, so don't be surprised if Rhyss has a couple bruises."

Sovelis smiled at his female student. "I'm not sure, but I have this bad feeling in my spleen..." he said as he leaned on his staff. His signature cloak flapped around him as a small breeze played across the field. He had everything he would need, all in his satchel. "Arrika. Do you still have the Index? that little micro-library I gave you?" Sovelis asked, waiting for the others to arrive so he could get to the bottom of this problem.

"Yeah," the Sheikah replied, showing him the ordinary looking black bracelet on her left wrist. "Why? Does it know how to get us a rift?"

Seth could see Arrika and Sovelis now, and so could Mirielle. She smiled coyly to herself, which Seth noticed and looked back at her. "Whose lives are you trying to screw up now?" He dared ask.

"Like I'd ever do such a thing," Mirielle said sweetly, smiling with fake innocence and ruffling his green hair. He knocked her hand off impatiently, using all of his self control not to gut her right there.

"Maybe... But it might have something about the Twili in it. The Library of my Order is vast, and that Index knows everything thats in the library." Sovelis said as he looked up. "Arrika. The others are coming. And who's that lady with them?" he asked, looking slightly worried at the emotions he was picking up from her. "See seems...confident...and very demanding."

Great...I ask for a lazy mage, and what do i get? Some woman who's checking me out...this is going to be a very LOONNG trip... he thought as he raised his hood and turned around, looking away from everyone and hiding his face.

"Oh. That's Mirielle. She taught Rhyss everything about magic... I think she's even stronger than Rhyss, but that's the only reason I had Seth get her. She'd come along anyway even if she wasn't invited," Arrika said gloomily. "Too bad her ship didn't sink when she was off sailing. And yeah; she's all of the above. And a complete bit- Hey, Rhyss! Long time no see, eh?" Arrika said, changing the dark expression on her face immediately. "You're late, Seth."

"Shut up," Seth said, clearly not in the mood.

"Doesn't look like you got any taller; skinnier, maybe," Mirielle said drily to Arrika, but winked at the Tempest. Rhyss noticed and sulked, his hand in his pocket and playing with his amulet.

"Hey, kid," Rhyss said, attempting to sound friendly even though he looked even more annoyed than Seth. "So you're the one who organized our little party?" He asked Sovelis. "Hope you know what you're doing. Seth, our chances are...?"

"Don't know."

"What? Are you serious???"

"Do me a favor and pretend I'm just as Blind as the rest of you today, okay?"[/i]

"I consulted the Oracle. Its as blind as Seth." Sovelis said. keeping his hood up. The waves of emotions coming off Mirielle and Rhyss made him slightly nauseous. He looked at Seth from under his hood and sent the boy a message. How the hell can you stand these two? Its like...gah! I can't even think strait with them like this!

Sovelis looked at Mirlelle, a grin on his face. "Hello. I'm Sovelis. Glad to meet you." he said, a false politeness in his voice as he held out his real hand to the woman. "And no Rhyss...I have no idea what to do..."

OoC: What do you want to do? You could do something with the help of Rhyss' lil demon, or we could have Seth try... something. Not sure what, but something. Er.

IC:Seth scowled but remained silent. Welcome to my life. Mirielle's thoughts keep buzzing in and out of head every other second. Some of them make me want to retch, to tell you the truth.

Mirielle shook his hand, an obvious look of triumph lurking behind her eyes. She noticed Arrika's expression as well and raised her eyebrows at that. So the little Sheikah has another crush! Oooh Mirielle, if you were to ruin it the same way you did the last... Now that wouldn't do at all! Let's try something different. The witch-mage though gleefully to herself.

Rhyss looked shocked. "So you drag us both out here when you're winging it completely? Come on, queen of spontanaeity, any bright ideas?" He asked Mirielle.

OoC: I dunno...surprise me!

Ruin me and..Arrika? Is she totally nuts? Their is no way in hell I'd like Mirielle! Man...I can't block her out! Its like she's thinking loudly on PURPOSE!!! Sovelis said to the green-haired thief. He looked up and smiled at Rhyss. "I can't open a portal to the Twilight Realm. I'd need the Twilight Mirror, or a piece of the Triforce. The barrier between light and Twilight is strong. Maybe the ones who opened that doorway found a thin spot in the barrier, or a spot where a door was already made..."

"No," the witch responded, twirling a lock of her grey hair idly. Meanwhile Seth with his eyes closed walked four steps away, hands outstretched as if he were reaching for something.

Seth's eyes shot open. What was that? Who are you? Come out right now! The thief felt something whistle by him, brushing his hair. Whoever was out there had thrown something at him, but missed on purpose. He shut his eyes tightly, searching for the unseen presence. As if a fog had suddenly been lifted, an imp-like creature hovered before him on great bat wings, although it was only half as big as he was.

No mortal has ever entered our Realm. Well, there was that one exception years ago...

What are talking about? She just left less than two hours ago!

Are you sure? The imp grinned slyly. Your rules of time don't necessarily have to apply to us....

Where is she?! Open another rift, now!

Who do you think you are to command me, foolish Hylian, favorite of the Goddesses who have shunned my kind? The creature grew angry and hissed.

Meanwhile Rhyss noticed Seth's behavior, and it was stranger than usual. "Got something there, kiddo?"

Sovelis walked over to Seth and put his hand on the boy's shoulder. He closed his eyes and he could see the Twili. Seth, be careful. They aren't bound by the same powers that you and the others are. Let me reason with them. he told the boy as he looked at the imp.

I want you to open the rift. NOW. Or I will use my own evil to do it myself. He said to the Twili angrily, letting some of Sovel's aura surround him and Seth

The imp just grinned, albeit nervously, instead of cowering in fear as it was sure Sovelis had wanted. I would if I could. I'm trapped here... been trapped, for quite a while now... how many Twili years has it been? At least a couple decades...

But you know how, don't you? You just can't do it on your own.

So? Seth pressed.

Oh, don't tell me you're asking me to do it for free? You're not as sharp as I thought. The imp grinned and somersaulted in the air. Someone's soul would do nicely. How about that nice looking girl with the black hair over there?

NO! Sovelis shouted at the Twili. OPEN THE DAMN RIFT NOW, OR I'LL RIP ONE OPEN MYSELF! Power surged within the Tempest as he reached out and tried to grab the imp with his power, to choke it and crush its skull. I am not subjugated to the same laws as the people of this world. I can try to do it myself, and no one will stop me! he roared, mentally and out loud, for everyone to hear. His eyes had skipped the gold-step, and had gone strait to glowing red with furry.

The imp flitted away just in time. Okay, you got me. I can't be your little guide through the rift though. Like I said, I'm trapped, and that's the plain truth for once. Just make sure you don't get lost in there; I'd advise holding hands. If someone breaks the chain... oooo. Wouldn't want to be that loser. Don't look back either. The imp said, the tremor in his voice now obvious.

Meanwhile Seth flinched, Sovelis' hand still on him and Sovel seemingly ready to break loose. Don't run away. Don't run away.

The two mages and Arrika stared at the conversation silent to them. The amulet in Rhyss' pocket started to glow, and as if the sealed being within it had suddenly woken up it darted out of his pocket and towards the imp. Rhyss made a mad grab for it but only tripped, nearly falling face first into the muddy ground.

"Try anything, and I'll make sure that you regret it for the rest of eternity. GOT IT?" Sovelis said outloud, his hand slid off of Seth's shoulder as he turned around and looked at everyone with his glowing eyes. "A Twili will lead us to their Realm. But we must hold each other's hands. Arrika, Seth, hold onto me. Mirielle, you hold on to Arrika, and Rhyss hold onto Seth. Got it?" he said, anger in his voice as power swam in his body.

I'll have too keep this up until we get to the Twilight Realm. That Twili seems afraid of me now... the Tempest told Seth as he grabbed Arrika's hand with his real one. ''Everyone ready?"

The imp only chuckled nervously, spiraling a few feet away. Seth seemed terrified to be in contact with Sovelis anymore, and Mirielle could see it quite plainly. She bent down and whispered something in his ear, a small smile on her face.

The amulet hovered in the air beside the imp, an odd light radiating from it. Rhyss caught up to it and tried to snatch it back by the chain, but no matter how hard he pulled it was if a Goron was holding on to the other end. The imp looked at Rhyss and the amulet curiously, a sign of comprehension on its face. Darius? So this is what has become of you. To be trapped in a mere piece of jewelry... Is that my fate as well? No chance of returning to my homeland, forever branded with the name of Exile... Rhyss blinked, a new voice echoing in his head. Suddenly the imp appeared before him, and he gasped and fell back.

"Is this what you've been talking to? It looks like its power have been surpressed, or it'd be a lot bigger... Can you really find a way to your Realm?"

You can see me as well? If I've sunk that low, I might as well find a way to kill myself and get it over with. Odd, though... the dark haired girl can't see me. And her race was born of shadows just as we were.

"Seth, are you okay?" Arrika said, putting her hand on his shoulder, making him jump. He didn't respond and the Sheikah gave up.

The weakened Twili just grinned. I may not be at the height of my abilities, but what you ask of me is easy enough. The imp swung around in the air, muttering in an unknown language. A large black circle appeared in front of it, black particles floating and emanating from it. There you have it.... The imp stared through it, a longing gaze in its eyes. I can see my old consort whenever I look through.... How I wish I could tell her where I've been all these years... It turned away to stare at Arrika, who peered through the rift, sticking one hand daringly inside. It didn't feel like anything, and the black particles shattered as her hand passed through. Her eyes, so dark. Just as if she were a Twili herself...

"Yea. Let's go," Arrika said, waiting until everyone formed the chain. She was the second one in line, but Mirielle seemed unwilling to go first. Just as Arrika had taken a step through it started to suck them all in. Seth panicked and let go of Sovelis, switching places with Mirielle. Rhyss grabbed his amulet at the last second, forcing it into his pocket. Soon everyone was falling uncontrollably, hurtling through the endless darkness.
