The rebel flame stood in his front yard. The day was bright, the birds were singing and the wind was blowing nicely. Spring.
He had come outside for a reason; to think hard and long about his past, his mistakes, his achievments. His failures. He looked at them all. Then he thought of the present, of the various things that have transpired. Cell sky, hakiems, Sovelis were all evil, but then, there were other things, like Alpha, Orpheous, Dogura and Kayla who could easily match these threats. I wonder, is my job over? Should I just leave here? Kasei thought, then remembered Aria, his last true relative. If he left, she would be alone. no she wouldn't. He thought, she has Drom, and Sovelis...and Worru.
Woru. The shiekah/gerudo. He should've been the king of parapa. He was young, but he had an interesting something about him that made Kasei tingle. SOmething was good about that boy. The shiekah looked up, into the sky. He smiled. Aria pushed open the gate at the fence. She had returned fro ma trip to Rauru. Her arms were holding groceries. "Just take them inside. I might cook dinner later." Kasei said.
"No, I think I will make supper." Aria said, looking sick of the prospect that Kasei wanted to cook. SHe went inside, and left Kasei to his thoughts.

"Ryk, I don't need any help. I'm just out for a walk, alright?"
"If you were, kid, than why are you so close to the Deku Woods? You live in the town, remember?"
Worru sighed, Ryk's new human form now sporting a smug smirk. "Alright, I'll leave you alone. But if you come back dead, I'll kill you." the demon said, walking back to town, and soon enough out of sight. Worru turned back, and headed on to the house near the woods, simply because something told him to be. After a few more steps, he was at the house, now looking at the man who was standing there, and his expression brightened, holding up his left hand, which was bandaged around a certain mark, and waving at his friend.

Kasei heard a familiar voice. Worru, the man he was just thinking about. "Come, join me." The rebel flame requested. When Worru finally came over, he saw his elder shiekah was not looking too happy, more like solemn. "Worru, do you know what it is I desire most?" Kasei asked the gerudo prince, but didn't wait for a reply.
"A hundred years ago, when the gods of Hyrule took me into their service, they offered me anything I desired in exchange for my servitude. I guessed that it was a test. I was right. I requested from them one thing, and one thing alone."
He paused for a moment. "Immortality. I wanted to transcend the ages, forever guarding this kingdom and the people within it. Have you ever heard of the triforce, Worru?"
Again, he didn't wait. "The complete triforce grants whoever touches it one wish, although it may come in unexpected ways."
"For instance, when Ganon, the evil king, touched it in the light realm, he wished to be ruler of the world. His wish was granted, the entire world became as evil as his heart. He ruled the world, all right, one filled with the same chaos as himself." The shiekah said with bitterness.
"My wish was also granted much like that. I expected to be ageless, simply being immortal with no cost."
"Oh, how I was wrong. The gods granted me a gift, one unlike any other. With it, I could take the souls of my fallen enemies, adding their existence to my own life span. I was horrified by the fact that I continued to live, through the utter destruction of another's existence."
"Obviously, I still used this gift, which is why I am here today. I was warned, should I not perform the spell, after a while, I would die."
"I have been thinking, now, Worru. There are many warriors and adventurers in this current age, many could even rival Link. Your generation has obviously exceeded my own in power, because even though I know many secrets, my strength does not rival that of some young adventurers around."
Another pause. "I cannot tell you how, but I can predict; the future of this world lies in your generation, Worru, not mine. I have seen many friends die. I have even seen the end of an entire country. I have viewed many peoples wishes become reality. Now, I shall tell you my one true wish."
"I truly wish to die." Kasei looked over at Worru, tears forming in his eyes. "My friend, you will obviously grow stronger, and surpass me. Promise me that you shall not die before me. Promise me, Worru, that when my time comes, that you shall be able to end my sad existence." The rebel flame finished. He turned away. "Come inside, I think Aria is going to make us some dinner."

Worru stood there for a moment, thinking over the older Sheikah's words. But, his simply thinking was not for long, as his bandage glowed its familiar green, and his eyes changed color, from a violent red, to a calming blue, and then, ending on the same green as his Empty Courage did.
In his mind, an image began to play: A man, of around twenty, was clutching his green cloak at the place where his heart would be at, looking peaceful and happy, like a new father. But, his words were far from what one would think he would say. "Am I...Am I going to die?", he began sighing with his last sentence, "Yes...I am going to finally die...Are you...happy now, sister?" His last words made the person's eyes, who Worru was looking out of, blur for a moment, but returned to normal when the man fell, and the vision ended.
Worru shook his head, right hand clutching the left one, still bandaged. "What...what was that about?..." he mumbled, before following Kasei inside, trying to think about what just happened.

Aria had a nice broth boiling. In the oven was a large chicken. She was easily better than kasei in cooking. Kasei led Worru to a closet on the other side of the house. In it was a nice weapon; Kasei's scythe. "It looks like dinner won't be ready for an hour at least. Hows about you come and practice with me, eh?" The rebel flame asked Worru, then picked up the heavy weapon and turned, going to the door that lead to the backyard, Aria eying him cautiously.
When he was clearly outside, Aria turned to Worru. "Don't get killed now, ya hear?!" She demanded.

Worru only sighed, stretching out his arms as he smilied back at the Sheikah girl. "Don't worry. If his cooking didn't, I'm sure fighting him won't be much worse." he said with a grin, walking out, even though he knew this would hurt. Once he had gone outside, he grabbed his sword's hilt, smiling still at Kasei. "So, what's to practice?"

Kasei strided to the other side of the yard, then turned to face Worru. "Long-ranged combat." He said, then threw his scythe. It spun through the air at Worru, but the young shiekah dodged, and the blade landed hard into the ground. The rebel flame was not detered. He wasted no time in pulling out his bow and arrows. "We will move on when these excersizez are over." He said, and started to fire.

Worru sighed. Seems as if Aria was right about not dieing out here. He let go of his sword, making sure that his legs were ready to move, and fast. "Alright, Kasei. Let's get started." he said, smiling, but still making sure he was ready. Kasei was not one to mess around with, unless he was in that mood.

The arrows Kasei fired were on the most part dodged, but one managed to stick itself in Worru's shirt, just in the angle that it missed the skin. The rebel flame crossed the yard with his speed, and grabbed his scythe. He threw it with great streangth. It cleaved through a tree on its path to Worru. Once more it missed. Barely. Kasei picked bombs out of their bag, and threw them.

Worru tried hard as he could to not panic, running around to dodge the bombs, and very thankful that the large scythe missed him, considering that the fact that the handle alone could knock him out, and the blade would cause him a LOT of pain.

"Your going to have to fight back, eventually." Kasei said. The rebel flame crossed the yard once again, but did not grab the scythe and throw it, he grabbed it and swung at Worru. He barely missed, cutting Worru's clothes. He embedded the blade into the ground. The shiekah began his assault, throwing punches and kicks. His style seemed to incorporate many fighting styles. Blow after blow made it past Worru's defenses. Aria could be seen in the window.

Worru gritted his teeth, his arm once more glowing green, the triforce on it charging at its highest power, at the moment, at least. He began to return Kasei's attack, albeit slower, considering Worru's speed.

The rebel flame grinned. Worru was begining to fight back. Of course, Kasei easilly blocked all frontal assaults, then parried the final one, striking Worru in the back. "You can't take everyone down through sheer force. You need a strategy. I have already found your weakness, Worru." Kasei said, then vanished. A heavy blow hit Worru in the gut as Kasei appeared, his foot in his opponent's stomach. Not dangerous enough to kill, but strong enough to hurt. A lot.

Worru gritted his teeth further, eyes darting around to find Kasei as soon as he could. Ask him to make a strategy? It was stupid. He was in the middle of a battle, with around three years of being saved by a demon, and some ten of the best years of his life. Strategy was not his strong point.

A few more hits, and Kasei stopped. "I think that's enough." He said, the walked to the center of the yard. "Come, I want to show you something." An orb appeared in his hand. Its soft glow illuminated most of the surroundings, before the world fell into darkness.
The light of the small ball was all that could be seen other than Kasei and Worru himself. "I am sure you know the story of the world's creation? As it is told, the goddesses descended upon the chaos that was Hyrule. Din, with her strong flaming arms, cultivated the land and created the red earth. Nayru poured her wisdom onto the earth to give the spirit of law to the world. Farore's rich soul created all life forms who would uphold the law.
"This was the creation of the world and its races. Seeing that their job was done, the goddesses returned to the heavens, leaving behind the sacred Triforce, as well as other relics, like the Book of Mudora, which transcends time.
"However, there were more than just the three deities. There were at least two more. The first was my master, the fierce deity, the god of war. The second....was Armaggedon.
"At the beginning of time, Armaggedon and the Fierce Deity argued with the goddesses over the fate of the Triforce. In the end, Armaggedon went to slumber eternally, destined only to awaken at the end of time. My master decided to keep an eye on Hyrule, seeing its citizens too greedy.
"He was right. A long time ago, in the original kingdom, the evil demon thief Ganondorf entered the sacred realm, and grabbed the Triforce. It was for that reason; greed, that the Goddesses placed a spell on the relic, so the entire Triforce couldn't be claimed by a person who doesn't have a balance of Courage, Wisdom and Power within their heart. This is what split the Triforce when Ganondorf claimed it."
All this while, pictures of these events could be seen.
"The imprisoning war, Ganon's first conquest, set the future in motion, as well as marked the first use of the master sword. Ganon was vanquished after he held Hyrule in his grasp for seven years, and things were set right.
"Not too long after this, Ganon escaped the sacred realm, and the world was flooded. Ganon once more attempted to take the Triforce, but was stopped at the last minuet. Peace set down once more.
"New Hyrule was discovered after this, and with the original master sword lost, a new one was forged just in time to stop Ganon from manipulating the Triforce to take over the world.
"Lastly, Ganon had returned many years ago, and set once more in motion the events that would end him. He used his power to summon many monsters to his side, and he began a new assault. He ended many people's happiness, and their lives. He was once more stopped by link.
"The lesson I am trying to tell you Worru, is that the Triforce does not distinguish between those who are good or evil, why should it? It is impossible to say that everyone who uses darkness is evil, the same goes for the belief that all who use light are good. It is not the nature of the element chosen, merely the way it is used. The Triforce was left by the gods as a source of hope, Worru, but it was used time and time again for evil."
The darkness ended. "Let's go inside, dinner should get ready." The orb in Kasei's hand vanished, and the rebel flame went into the house.
