Even though it was a bright and rather warm winter's day, a chill seemed to hang around Sovelis as he stood near the lake's edge. The area around him, for about a few hundred meters, was as cold as cold could be as he stood there, his gaze locked on the frozen part of the lake surface. Light and Darkness are undeniable, but the Dark will lead me to my ultimate goal. Once that is achieved, then I can come back and undo this mistake and make things right... This troubled immortal thought, his head hidden in the hood of his newest cloak. This black cloak hung down, unaffected by the chilly breeze that twirled around the troubled man that wore it.
"I know that you are there. You walked into the radius of my little spell, so I can feel you there Kasei. Go ahead and come out and I won't be forced to do anything.... VIOLENT. " Sovelis spoke loudly as he turned and looked away from the lack, and towards the frozen, dead grasses of Hyrule Field.

"Oh, how terrifying." The rustly voice of the old Kasei replied, as the shiekah appeared from nothing, looking just as he did during the battle with Laxin; old. His gray beard reached past his chest. Well, we don't need an explanation now, he's old, live with it.
Kasei stared across the small gap between Sovelis and himself. His eyes were not kind, or chearfull, like when he was talking to a freind, not even cold and heartless, like when he was staring down an enemy. No, they were cautious, and examining, as if Kasei was trying to find something on Sovelis. He inhaled, and sighed.
The Rebel Flame took a step forward. It was a huge step, because he was now directly beside Sovelis. "Sovelis....," He started, "...have I ever told you about how I met a tempest? One before you?" Kasei asked, looking down at his companion.

"I knew that you have heard of my kind before, but you never told me any details. I figured as much if you knew how to seal my powers away when I first came to this world." Sovelis said, looking up at Kasei from within the shadows of his hood. His eyes glowed from in that darkness, as if a fire was burning within his soul, and was raging to escape its fleshy cage.
"But do tell me one thing first...Why didn't you just kill me when you had the chance? Before I found the secret to my immortality? The Rebirth of the Shadows is a very complex Baukudo, one that took me so long to even understand. If you had just killed me before I learned that from the Demon, then the approaching war would be so much easier for your side to win..." Sovelis looked back down, and turned his back on Kasei, the Servant of the Fierce Deity.

"Hmmm...." Kasei says, looking at Sovelis. "Is that so?" He says, frowning. He grabs into one of the pockets in his robes, and pulls out a cigarette, something not seen on him in a while. He lights it with magic, and starts to smoke.
"Sungtak Del'nario Mephistopheles Koloh, long name, know who it is?" Kasei asked slowly, trying to get it right. "You most likely do. He was a tempest, like you, and he was the one I met before you, in another world." The Rebel Flame said, letting memory come back to him. "I'm not even entirely sure how it happened, but we were fighting viciously. Neither of us seemed to understand what the other was. I, an immortal destined to forever long for death, he was a tempest, one who could trancend worlds and defead foes with great force."
"It was a long battle, one that was finally stopped by reenforcements showing up for both of us, about two days in. We made peace, and talked." Kasei said, as if discusing the weather. "He did not seem like the type who was out for power. He seemed almost calm, wise, understanding. This was back when I was much younger, but he told me things, he told me a great deal of things. Some I understood quickly, others puzzle me even to this day." He finished, looking at Sovelis once more. "I remember Sungtak well, Sovelis. He was one of the many heroic warriors I met during my hundred years of traveling. To answer your question, Sovelis: when you entered Hyrule, I thought you would be much like him. I believed you, too would understand things."
"I think about him, and I compare him to you. Are the tempests really so diverse? Is this why they are all gone?" The Rebel Flame asked the Last Tempest, a small tear in his aged eye.

"High Lord Sungtak...he was the High Lord before me...about three or four Lords before me." Sovelis said, pulling back at his hood and letting it fall to his back. "I never knew him. He was one of the few that died before he could pass on his memories to whoever became High Lord after him, so I would not know of him personally." he remarked as he turned and looked back at Kasei. The skin on his face was more his than demons this time, only a small patch going up the right side of his neck from the seal. But his eyes remained evil, and malicious.
"I am much different than any Tempest before me. I house one of our oldest enemies in my body, chained to my soul...Thus I walk in the shadows more than any other before me. Is that so hard to understand? It was never my choice to want to kill everyone." the Tempest said, raising his real hand up ad pointing at the Old Sheikah. "Oldest of your kind...immortal who wishes for death. Why not allow me to end it here? Why not...submit to me and I shall grant you a quick and merciful death? Or shall the past be repeated? Will you battle me again, and lose to me? I have prepared the battlefield this time. This cold is no normal cold. Your flames cannot be more than a few meters from you before they surrender to the icy grip of my power?"
With a smooth, practiced motion, Sovelis lowered his hand to his waist and grabbed the handle of his sword, and drew it from its sheath. "Decide or I will decide for you."

Kasei smiled, his cigarette bursting into flames in front of him, the ashes falling to the ground. "Young boy, you are old, that is true, but I am even older, and far wiser. Tell me, tempest; do you honestly believe that fire is the only thing in my bag of tricks?" Kasei asked, the area around him suddenly growing dark.
"Within you, I know, is Sovel, the demon who destroys worlds. Within me, however, is the blood of the shiekahn race, warriors bred to control darkness. I am also, as much as I hate it, the grandson of Jormund Gobi, who taught me quite a few tricks before he died."
The area was now as black as a starless night. It was one of Kasei's magic tricks. "In addition to that, my streangth is immense, I have learned and mastered over a hundred martial arts styles. I know basic alchemy, and have learned various techniques of different kinds of magic from all over. I have mastered many of them. My knowledge is borderline infinite. And I can tell you now, boy, you will not be the one to kill me, it is not your right." Kasei says, as an enormous, pitch-black scythe appears in his hands.
"To not have killed you back then, that is a mistake I shall rectify...NOW!" He roared, flying at his tempest enemy, scythe ready to kill.

"I can see you coming from a mile away...don't you know that already, my old friend?" Sovelis retorted, moving himself a dozen yards away from the spot he was standing. "If your going to kill me...you will have to do more than destroy this body...to reduce it into nothing but small, sub-atomic particles so small that I could never regenerate. You must destroy my next body as well. I have a new new made so that if this old one is to damaged to return to, I can go to it instead. At the cost of more corruption of my soul though. Isn't immortality worth it though?"
Sovelis began to float a few inches from the ground, and then drift backwards, over the ice of the lake. " I transcend human experience. I have the memories of men who rival you in age, Servant of the Warrior God of Hyurle. I have Absolute control over myself only because I allowed the darkness in. If I had continued to fight it, I'd have been unable to unseal my powers...and my Immortality." he yelled, pointing his sword at Kasei.
"Did you know that the Tempest Blade is a shapeshifting sword? The shape of a katana is its base shape, its untapped potential. It can morph into whatever shape someone who has mastered it wants it too. Kalangeral 'Brother''...It is a fine weapon. And now it is time for me to liberate its true form to you. You've seen me wield it as a demon. Its shape monstrous and imperfect. But as myself...its power can be unlocked. Now, Kalangeral... Lets show this foolish old man the power of a youthful demon.
The Tempest Blade slowly began to glow with a terrible, white light. As it did, it elongated, and grew to half a foot wide. The light went away, and the sword was now as long as Sovelis was tall, and looked like a sword fit to be wielded by a god. "Now...Old Sheikah...come at me if you want too..."
OoC: I'll Deviate the sword later tomorrow.

The blade of Kasei's scythe landed firmly in the ground, and Kasei turned to face Sovelis. "Boy, you speak so much, but say so little...." He says, appearing behind Sovelis, he swings his blade at the tempests skull, knowing it won't work.
"It really, however, does not matter what you do. If I kill you, I need only capture your soul, and devour it. You will become a part of me when I kill you this time." The Rebel Flame said. "Sovelis....I once thought I knew what your porpose was. I thought you could be a great help to Hyrule. Now I see that is incorrect. Your porpose is to become part of me, like so many other warriors before you, who dared stand against the Seven Stars."
"And even if you beat me now; you are not going to be able to kill me. I am by no means the strongest of the Seven Stars, others will come for you, servant of darkness." He said, raising his hand. From the darkness appeared the Garo, servants of Kasei, they drew their blades, and jumped for Sovelis...
OOC: Just do some cool god-mod moves on these small fry, Sovelis..

Seth gasped, his voice trailing off from his chattering to Arrika. The Sheikah became alarmed, knowing he had Seen something.
"Seth, what is it? What did you See?"
"Sovelis and Kasei..."
"Where?!" Arrika demanded. Don't tell me they're off trying to kill each other again...
Seth just pointed numbly, Arrika taking off through the snow. "Aren't you coming too?!"
"And get caught in the cross-fire? I don't think so," he replied, turning the opposite direction and wrapping his cloak tighter around him.
Arrika arrived just in time to see Kasei attack. "Sovelis! No! What are you two doing?!"

The Garo seemed to be frozen in mid-air as Sovelis looked at them from behind his clouded eyes. So slow...its like they are stopped in time. Or is it because I am outside of it?
In a flash, he was upon them with his magnificent sword. Less than a nanosecond had passed, this was the extent of his powers. A Flash-Step was the penacle of Tempest swordsplay. The near instantaneous attack was like nothing that could be duplicated by mere mortals. First, he cut them a thousand times each. That move in its own way wound have killed then as soon as the Flash-Step was over, but he didn't stop there because he knew that he needed to make an example of these pitiful Garo.
Now...here is where they TRULY die... he thought as he held his hands to each of them, standing between the Garo. The Void energy swam through Sovelis' veins and into his hands. The dark power arced out and into the air, simultaneously obliterating the Garo in the span of a second.
As soon as he stepped into normal time, Sovelis heard her voice. "Arrika..." he whispered, loosing his focus and stepping down onto the ice from where he had been floating. "W-what are you doing here? If your here, hen Seth must have Seen this...WHY DID YOU COME?"

Kasei was emotionless as his Garo were killed quickly, he didn't expect anything less of Sovelis. Then, an unneeded interuption appeared: Arrika, one of Sovelis' apprentices. Kasei smiled as Sovelis decided to get sidetracked. "You shouldn't worry about why they are here, my freind." The Rebel Flame said, as tendrils of darkness came out of nothing, and began latching around Sovelis. "With this, my freind, you will soffocate and die. I will then devour your spirit, ending you indefinately!"

"Shadows? don't you realize by now that I am one with my own inner darkness?" Sovelis laughed, his eyes shining maniacally. "Do you REALLY think that you can kill me with these weak shadows of yours?" the tempest said as he accelerated himself again, surrounding himself with the power of the Void like a second-skin. "The Void is the home of the darkest shadows known to exist in all of the worlds...let me show you its powers, Kasei!!!"
Sovelis broke free from the Tendrils with a quick motion of his hand, snapping the shadows with his own willpower. Sovelis kept his distance from his former friend and floated out over the surface of the lake even further, out to the deep water that wasn't frozen yet for he was unwilling to drag Arrika into this struggle for dominance that he was unsure who would win. "Follow me Kasei, if you dare to tread out here on the water." he yelled, returning his sword to its smaller form to keep his defensive abilities to their max.

"Sovelis! Stop it!" Arrika yelled. "What do you think you're doing? Are you trying to get yourself killed?! What if either of you accidentally drag the rest of Hyrule into flames and reduce it to rubble with your pointless fighting?!" The Sheikah realized that she could easily be hurt and edged away from the half frozen lake, watching both of them with wide eyes but knowing she would be unable to stop either of them. The thought of running away and hiding with Seth crossed her mind but she felt as if she were rooted to her spot in the snow.

"You, girl, should stay out of our fight." Kasei snapped ar Arrika. "As for you," He said, turning to Sovelis, "What can you gain from running out there? If you think you are safe from my flames out there, you are horribly mistaken. I can make my flames as cold as ice, or as hot as the sun. Your little summer breeze here will have no effect on my abilities." He said, putting a foot forward, and punching the air.
An enourmous river of fire spouted from Kasei's fist. And indeed, it was certainly hot; the grass it passed over was reduced to nothing instantly, the ground beneath it turned black. The huge wave of flames spread out, over the lake, as it sped towards it's goal of destruction; Sovelis.
OOC: Ya know, you guys are probably thinking; 'oh, he's going back to his old ways, with the immortality and stuff'. WRONG. The stuff Kasei said earllier was mostly boasts, he's not as great as he says he is. As for this little fireworks display here, Sovelis: get hit by it, get burned, and then get angry and retaliate!

Dammit! My Fire-reduction spell didn't work!?! This is bad news for me! the Tempest thought as Kasei's flames roared towards him at such a sped as to render linear thought impossible. He managed to raise his blade up and deflect a small portion of the attack, but it was useless to try and block such a large amount of fire at one time without using something to counter it with. The flames hit Sovelis with enough force to rip almost any normal person apart and incinerate them at the same time.
Sovelis felt himself being thrown back from the blast, and skidding across the surface of the lake that was still liquid. He skipped several times before he forced himself to a stop, and froze the water he was floating above so that he would have something to stand on. "Dammit...I didn't know that he'd be strong enough to bypass such a High Level suppression spell so quickly. I've underestimated him..." he mumbled out loud, looking at the shore where Kasei stood, his fist still pointing at Sovelis like a threat.
"I was hoping to save this for a more desperate time...but if he beats me, he might be able to finish me for good this time...Unless open the first Limit." Sovelis cut the palm of his right hand, and let the blood run down the length of his blade. "Na'hal sho Otokis. Kimank shali Mok'al Liados" His words rang out in the air, filled with the power that the Incantation held as it worked its way into Sovelis. "Now...lets see what you cn do to me now that my power is tripled!!!" he shouted as energy began to spark off of him, cracking in the air like lightning as the Tempest stood there. Small waves began to form and move out from where Sovelis stood on the ice, making the smooth lake surface rough and jagged.
