The crowd was still amped up over the fight between Orpheous and Worru when Tarlen began to introduce the next fighters. "Ladies and Gentlemen, next up is a clash of two powerful mages! We do, of course, remember the chlid mage Tayro from his last fight against the Nomad Blank! This magical prodigy isn't someone you want to mess with, even though he ended up winning by default! However, hsi opponent just so happens to be the Tempest, Sovelis! He is renowned as one of, if not the strongest Mage in Hyrule! This is going to be a match you'll never forget between two mages who didn't get to fully beat their last opponents!" Tarlen started flapping harder--he was getting tired, and it was taking more effort to stay in the air. Still, how else am I to get a bird's-eye view? He snickered. I'm so witty.

"Whenever you're ready to begin!" He called down to the mages below.

OOC: Tayro goes first.

OoC; Tayro goes first... but I post first!!! Ha! 10 points to me... And I'm assuming that this is WAY before the war, so Sovelis is still a good guy... I guess.

The roar of the crowd was deafening to Sovelis as he stepped out onto the pavilion. He had been disappointed greatly with the first round of the tournament because he had not gotten a chance to fight the one he had been assigned to fight: Someone claiming to be a descendant of the Hero. Ahhh... that would have been a grand fight if he truly was of the Hero's line. I doubt he was, but you can't ever be too sure. the Tempest thought as he pulled off his signature red cloak. He had forgone his usual black robes, pants and tunic for this day and had instead put on his more brightly colored clothes. The red of these robes was complemented by the gold thread-work that adorned the cuffs, the collar, the hem and the bottom of his clothes. "They say the clothes make the man, and I must say that I feel dressed for the occasion today!" he murmured as he waved at the crowd of spectators that had packed the stadium to see the fights.

"I'd like to thank you all for coming out here today to see this battle, and in return for your support, I'll make sure to give you all a terrific fight!" Sovelis exclaimed, raising his voice so that the crowd could hear him. But this could get out of hand with two mages battling each other... I had better erect a shield around the arena to protect these people. without a second thought, Sovelis put his hands together and mumbled a short incantation.

Sho'peng Do Naru Donatsu

Instantly, four more of him appeared and ran to the corners of the arena and all spoke the same incantation at the same time Donatsu She'loke Naru no Donayotu

Now, a large blue shield had sprung up, raising well above the height of the arena, and closing like a giant soap bubble. A shield to contain the magical attacks of the two mages and keep the crowd safe. "Now we won't have to worry about anyone gettign hurt besides ourselves."

OoC: is that alright RG?

OoC: Erm..... Just how long does Dream Illusionist have to post? Cause I don't mind waiting longer. I DO NOT WANT 2 WINS FROM FORFEITS.

OOC: We haven't seen him on AIM either...I suppose what I could do is start the next fight, and if he doesn't show up by the time that last fight is over, you'll win.

OOC: Technically, Tayro has until tomorrow night at ~6:00 EST to post. But if you're willing to wait, Sovelis, we can extend the deadline to what RG suggested.

OoC: Yes. Please. I'd rather have a fight and loose than go on to the third round without fighting a single opponent.

OOC: Alright, we finally found out why Tayro's been gone. He's horribly sick, the whole 104 degree temperature, nausea, all that jazz. I'm sure you'll be willing to wait for him to heal, right?

OoC: Of coarse! I'm not some heartless killing machine! (or am I? o_O )

OOC: Tayro, get better soon!

OOC: Alright, sorry Tayro, but we can't wait another month. We have to get this stuff worked out. I declare Sovelis the winner of this match.
