RG and Kin wrote:"Yes, you seem to fit the requirements to become yet another Mage." Sage Artorius observed calmly. "Well, go on then, serve your land and all that."
"Yes im a mage whoooooooooohoooooo" Kin yelled in excitement
It is an occurrence that could often be seen in this area . . . a new adventurer celebrating over his promotion to a Mage by Sage Artorius. This Kin is but one of dozens of people who have traveled down this same road to becoming a master of magic, and will undoubtedly not be the last.
It has been a long time since he had traveled down the same path himself . . . and now he is famous (or infamous, depending on who you spoke to) for his magical prowess. 'Things certainly haven't turned out the way I expected them to . . .' the Sheikah thinks as he stands in the shadows of the tree next to Artorius' home, into the light of the evening sun.
Light . . . something that goes against his very nature, it seems. Not only due to the fact that he is a Sheikah, and therefore weak to such a luminous element. And not only due to the fact that he actually finds complete darkness to be rather relaxing compared to the harsh burning that can accompany sunlight. It seems it is even more of his nature to keep secrets, and should any of them come to light . . . he shudders at the thought.
His regrets are many . . . but fortunately he has quite a bit of skill at keeping such things from affecting him and the way he acts around others.
Others . . . so many others have been in his life since the last time he was here. He can't even remember the last time he saw some of the many faces that had been present when he'd originally started adventuring. Where were Arco, Malciore, Denning, and Raven? Julian and Victor, Grenada and Darilan, Dogura and Blank . . . where had they all gone? While he had known that certain people would enter his life and then leave it forever, he had always expected to know why they were leaving and where they'd be going, yet with all of these he has had no trace of any of them for months at least . . .
He had never expected to be the last of that group to remain in Hyrule.
With a solemn sigh it is, then, that he realizes how far into the light he has stepped. He had meant to stay by the tree, yet now he finds himself a foot past the wall and standing to the side of the house. He thinks again of Kin, happily celebrating his new title, and a smirk forms on his lips. His gaze moves sideways, to where Sage Artorius has sat for as long as the Sheikah has been around, at least. Someone who has been here longer than he . . . there aren't many like that left in Hyrule.
"They just don't make Mages like they used to, do they, Sage?" he asks after a few moments. With a rare smile on his lips he moves over and takes a seat next to the elder Scholar, where he had once sat in order to receive the same rank Kin has now achieved. It's been a long time since he has seen or spoken to the man . . .
No reason to wait any longer.
OOC: This is a topic open to anyone and everyone who wants to talk with and/or meet Alpha, and if no one shows up, then by golly I'll just have a fine little chat with Artorius!
Still, if you want to participate, please don't start spamming the topic or taking control of it. No fighting, no quarrels, no dilemmas . . . for once, let's just have a nice friendly chat, like we used to do back when people like Malciore of Noe really were around . . .
Good times, good times. Here's to making some new good times.

Aiden was lost once again, her memory for landmarks was lacking to say the least. Seeing Kin her eyes widened and she hoped the lad would not spot her. Stepping quietly into shadow she closed her bright eyes and counted softly under her breath, unaware that another Sheikah prowled near.
After a few moments she slowly opened her eyes, well she had yet to be spotted. Sneaking carefully back into the light she sighed. Unlike most of her kind, she liked sunlight. The warmth felt good and with light nothing could hide. Basking in the sun for a moment she finally noticed the other Sheikah sitting next to an elder. Her brow crinkled and she met his gaze uncertain, a funny feeling in her stomach.
Swallowing hard she managed a wavering smile and walked towards him, it would be most impolite to turn away now. With a slight bow to the pair she was careful to remember their faces. Why she could so easily remember faces but not landmarks she didn't know.
"My name's Aiden, you seem a bit down." Her voice was soft, still unsure, but full of a curious kindness. He did seem down and she liked it better when people were happy. Maybe she could do something to ease his troubles before setting on her way. It was in her nature to be kind and care, even if it came at a personal cost.

The old Sage sat on his bench as he stared outwards thoughtfully, memories from years and years ago flowing through his still sharp mind. "Where have they all gone?" He whispered softly, between cracked lips. He had been here in Hyrule for as long as he could remember, helping scholars get on their feet. His work had started in a different location, that was true, but he had been doing the same thing in Mido as he was doing at this lonely house. He had been steadfast for close to three years now, never roving far from the area lest another Scholar needed his assistance. He wondered when he would ever be able to return home to Mido. Had all his time been wasted? The avalanche was still blocking the path, and Gohma still roamed the mountain pass. Had his prized pupils not been trained well enough to take care of either problem? Was he a failure as an instructor? He couldn't even remember the last time he had heard from one of his students. He just taught them what they needed and sent them on their way. Was his work that unappreciated? Or did he simply overestimate the value of his teachings?
Then he heard a voice in the area, and he turned dully to the speaker. "If you want to be Mage, you'll have to invest three--" He stopped midsentence as his aged eyes fell on the speaker. A wide smile grew on his thin lips, and his normally monotonous voice gained a little emotion as he responded to the approaching Sheikah. "Not quite...Alpha." He looked back out at the horizon, watching a flight of birds cross the skyline. "I've heard a lot about you lately. Saw you in the tournament as well. Sure made short work of that mercenary, eh? Did me proud. Did so well, in fact, you seemed to scare off your next opponent." The laugh following his joke was thin, but still had a force behind it. The man's indomitable spirit showed in his countenance as he looked genuinely happy for the first time in a while.
When he heard a woman's voice, he turned his head slowly, dreading another new apprentice as he did not recognize the tone. Thankfully, she didn't seem to be a scholar in the slightest. His smile only grew. "No, my girl, I'm feeling quite fine at the moment. Quite fine indeed. Why don't you have a seat, Aiden? I'm Artorius, the Sage." His bony hand gestured to the little remaining room on the bench--though not very spacious, the Sheikah's slender frame would surely fit.
OOC:Hey, this is RG, thought I'd do a nice bit of RPing instead of my modly duties. Gets rather boring, doncha know.

Alpha's grin grows all the wider as the Hylian begins his normal little speech, only to stop short as he realizes halfway through that he's not talking to those he normally speaks too. The Sheikah couldn't help but laugh at Artorius' words, though they did cause yet another pang to strike him in his heart. That second fight had been scheduled to be against Rose, one of the Twilight Guardians, a member of the guild that he had worked hard to form alongside many of his allies . . . allies which, again, he rarely ever saw these days. Rose Hillmound, Kalex the Zora, Dogura Shadowclaw, Tayro Wind, Blank Fireside, and himself, and he hasn't seen any of the other five in weeks at the least, months for most. He'd hoped to get a chance to speak to Rose during and after the fight, but alas, again fate seemed to hold a decidedly hateful vision for his future.
But Alpha laughs all the same, taking the joke in the spirit with which it had been offered: a show of respect for his own abilities. "Wasn't my plan," he replies with a chuckle of his own, "but a victory's a victory as far as I'm concerned, and last I checked fright works as good as force." He'd have aimed to get some sort of quip off, like Sage had done, but by this point he'd seen the girl approaching them both.
As he has countless times before, he quickly scans the newcomer: obviously female; her figure suggesting her to be somewhere around the ages of 17-19; a calm and serene person with few secrets, judging by the way she seemed so content in the sunlight; yet also somewhat uncertain and lacking at least some confidence based on her uneasy approach and smile towards the Scholars. She seems . . . Sheikah . . . yes, if he focused he could sense her aura, which suggests she drew more heavily on the element of Shadow over Light, though her green eyes made her an oddity in that regard. Well, Shada has blue eyes, rather than the standard Sheikah crimson, so it can't be that odd . . . at least, it's not unheard of.
But he's being rude - a trait he normally doesn't care about having as one of his own, but still, he knows better than to be mean to someone he's never met before. Wait until they're used to him and understand his reasons, then be rude.
Instead, he nods his head to her in friendly greeting. "A pleasure to meet you, Aiden," he says once Sage has finished speaking, and he also scoots over to the edge so as to allow her more room should she choose to accept Artorius' invitation of sitting. "I am Alpha, one of Artorius' students from a while back . . . we were just sitting here, reminiscing, that's all. Nothing sad about those memories, just the fact that we can't relive them." He gives a hearty laugh at this, finding it sincerely humorous - who'd have thought that he could be sentimental?
OOC: Ah, the famed Brizzy - er, Bri. A pleasure to meet you, both in character and out!
And thanks to RG, for agreeing to play along with me in all this.

OOC: 'Ello gove'nors, lady, don't mind if I join this nice chat. Note to Brizzy, never got the chance to welcome you, so, yeah... welcome to HA2. I was going to join your topic before ... (how to put this nicely)... Kin killed it. And note to all, it is nice to see a topic where we can finally talk.
IC: Meanwhile, a group that was already making its way over to the others kept on approaching. Two men might have been made out by their appearance. It was the scribe and word-mancer Orpheous and his apprentice, Simon. The other man was a stranger that was accompanying the two. He looked like a beggar or a man who had parted from his caravan. Orph probably found him around the crossroads and decided to lead him into town to get him feed and give him a bit of money. Beggars around here were nothing like the drunk bums he was used to. If you gave them money, they would spend it on booze. However, these beggars, they actually would spend the little money they got on substance. Orpheous decided it would be the least he could do to help.
Then, Simon noticed the others. "Sir Artorius," he stated gleefully, running up to hug the national icon. "I met you once, when Orpheous was here becoming a legal mage (if that never happened, we'll assume it did). I was and still am astounded by your intelligence, you are like a role-model to me." He blatantly ignored Alpha and the beautiful Aiden (Simon typically doesn't do this to a woman of Aiden's caliber, but now we have an exception).
Orpheous came over next, restraining Simon from pestering the sage. "Hello, Sir Artorius," he stated, waving. Then gesturing toward Alpha, "And you as well Sir Alpha." Finally, he turned his whole body to face Aiden. His hand was still on Simon's shoulder, restraining him from bothering the sage. "And who do we have here?"
The other man interjected softly, and mainly to Artorius as so not to interrupt Orpheous, "Sir, we have traveled along way, and at least I am greatly tired. May I, and they if they wish, please sit down for a bit?"
Orpheous's and Simon's clothes were similar to their everyday drab, cloaks, sandals, and watches. The stranger might have appeared vaguely familiar, but it would be hard to put a finger on it. He wore a hood shadowing some of his face, which made it even more difficult to recognize him if someone amongst them had met him before. Assuming someone might ask about it, he then softly added, "My eyes are especially weak to the fierce sun, so I am sorry for not taking of my hood."

{{Ooc: Famed?! Me? HA.
As for the topic killer.. yeah.. that was bad.
It's nice to meet all of you as well. I have heard bits and pieces about most of you..}}
Aiden relaxed as neither men seemed hostile or overly uptight. Her eyes looked to the seat they had made for her and she slid in nicely. In such close proximity the two might smell the soft lilac that seemed to be a part of her. "I am glad to hear that none of you are in a foul temper, it has a way of clouding up a perfectly nice day." Licking her lips she couldn't help but examine her seat partners intensely. Mages, she had yet to meet true mages. Sure she'd heard many stories of the powers, their seclusion, and sometimes their down right strangeness, but she'd never met one.
Already questions were forming in her head and just as she were about to start spitting out questions, and maybe making a fool of herself, another group arrived. When she was ignored Aiden thought little of it. In her home women and children were meant to be seen and not heard. As the question of sitting came forth Aiden leapt easily to her strong and capable legs. She could stand if it meant someone in more need had the seat.
The other person, the one not ignoring her, talked to her as she rose. "Oh, me? My name's Aiden and I'm just a bard." Among mages she felt a little less proud of herself, but really she loved her choice and loved helping people. Normally she would be more than proud. Even though, she'd almost become a cleric. Her voice would have worked well in either option, calming and soft to sooth the injured, but the musical side won over. It was in her soul, her very being.

OOC: ignored Alpha and the beautiful Aiden (Simon typically doesn't do this to women of Aiden's caliber, but now we have an exception).
Alpha is a woman of Aiden's caliber? Hmm, how many secret identities does he have?
Groan, Saber. Just . . . groan.
Oh, lighten up, Alpha
Anyways, I want to bring Burlo into this really bad, but...Something tells me it would be a bad idea.
And how does it feel to be famous, Bri? I believe I've told you a bit about both Alpha and Orpheous. You'll learn yourself over time though.
IC: Sabertache ran his fingers over the hilt of the wolfshead dagger as he wandered the plains. It had been left in his posession when a certain inn had come under attack. During that battle, he had been disarmed and stunned by Lerick. Dogura Shadowclaw, Saber's closest ally, tossed him the dagger to use as a replacement for the mercenary's saber. When the building collapsed under the flames, the party was seperated by all the confusion. Dogura was never seen by the mercenary again--at least, until they entered the tunnel to fight Gohma. However, the dagger had slipped Saber's mind then--and after the events in the tunnel, Dogura disappeared from everyone for good. Darkin was gone as well, and Alex was rarely spotted. All that remained of the samurai was the short weapon slowly rotating in the pale hands of the Tantari mercenary extraordinaire. I've never really learned to use it...Saber thought to himself as his feet carried him aimlessly, hopefully traveling in the general direction of Castle Town like he had planned. Perhaps I should...Fighting with two weapons is a useful talent in this country...
Saber was snapped out of his memories as a light voice reached his ears. He raised his eyes from the dagger, slipping it through his belt on the opposite side of his saber's sheath. Bard? Aiden? No doubt that sounded familiar. In fact, didn't he hear those words recently? Albeit in a different tone. He was shocked to find himself quite close to the castle--in fact, he was at Artorius' hut, not far from the drawbridge. There was Aiden, he had been expecting that. There was also Simon and Orpheous, men that the mercenary was fairly well acquainted with. Orpheous parallelled him in strategical thinking for certain. The Sage, unsurprisingly, was also at his house, seated next to another mage--Alpha? Quickly, Saber's head dropped again. This was the Sheikah who had completely decimated Saber in the Grand Tournament. He was the favorite to win for sure (OOC: Speaking of which, we should get that going again. Where are KP and Tayro?) and the mercenary wasn't worth the accomplished mage's time. With his eyes still lowered, he spoke instead to Orpheous.
"How has Silna been doing lately? The People's Front getting along well?"

OOC: I'm going to take a gander and assume this takes place before the war...
And you know what I meant with the caliber comment, but I'll edit it anyways.
IC: "Nice to meet you as well Ms. Aiden," stated Orpheous with care. He was getting tired of watching out for newcomers, as the job could get tiring, but she looked like she could hold her own. Simon, finally acknowledging her, nods as to agree with Orpheous's statement.
Then, before Orpheous could add anything else, Saber showed up out of the blue. After Saber addressed him and asked his questions, Orpheous replied, "Silna is doing fine, the mental scars left on her from the Cell Sky incident are beginning to fade.
OOC: Saber, I assume you don't mind if Orpheous never found it was you who kidnapped Silna. She would have known, but she probably could have told Orpheous because she assumed that you were worthy of forgiveness. She also knew he would probably kill you if he found out...
IC: Then she had to watch me recuperate (reference to StS, if that hasn't occurred yet, assume something else about the recuperation). However, she is doing much better now. I wouldn't call us star crossed lovers, but I would say that the romantic side to our relationship is very deep and unique (don't take that the wrong way, I just mean to say they are probably soul mates). She is currently taking some time off to do dig deep into the mystery of the 'Sinister Five'."
Then shifting to the other question, he responded, "The PFH is doing well. We recently built a base at North Castle, you can come by and visit some time if you wish." Then he awaited a returning comment from anybody in general. He had already asked Artorius if he could be seated, and, thus far, he had been given no response.

OOC: You young people post too quickly
and I suppose this is pre StS, considering I said the pass was still blocked. So Saber, may want to edit that.
IC: "Certainly, certainly, have a..." The Sage began, then looked at the bench in surprise. It was full. His mouth opened slightly at the realization. For the first time in years, he had company, company enough to where there wasn't enough room. As Aiden began to rise off the seat, he glared at the girl and pointed at the narrow space. "No, you sit!" He said hoarsely, before his face creased into a gentle smile again. "You're the only one who can fit there anyhow, and you gentlemen wouldn't make an old Sage like me move, would you?" He looked over the assembling crowd fondly. He didn't recognize them all, which wasn't surprising--the brown-haired youth in back seemed to be a grunt, and the girl already declared herself both new and a bard.
"The ground is soft--it is late spring yet, after all." The wise man proclaimed. "I'm sure the grass would make a fine seat." As he waited for them to get comfortable, he went ahead to answer the compliment given him earlier. "Thank you for the flattery," He began, a proud twinkle in his eye, "Yet I believe I am not so intelligent as you make me out to be. Wise, perhaps. Yet there are still many things I find myself unable to answer. Why does the sun cross the sky? What makes the wind?" He shook his head, saddening a little. "Where do all the good men go, and where are all the Goddesses?'
OOC: Extra TP* to anyone who gets that reference
IC: Looking from Simon to Saber, he noted the mercenary's disposition. Who is that man? After thinking a few seconds, his eyes widened with surprise. "Why, Alpha, there's the boy you beat in the tournament!" Obviously, the mercenary's pride was one of Artorius' top concerns.

Alpha's gaze rises up slightly as a few choice presences begin making themselves known in the general area surrounding Artorius' abode. He chuckles to himself as his heightened senses begin picking them up, slowly closing in on the bench where he sits one after the other. 'Yet another oddity about Hyrule . . .' he thinks. 'Whenever something happens, everyone seems to show up all at once.' How many times has that happened to him? Certainly during his many missions to locate Master Zaris; and whenever someone knew enters Hyrule too. In fact, the Sheikah has recently been making a point to not greet a new adventurer when they wander into North Castle - then at least there's one less person crowding them. He certainly would have hated it if such a thing had happened to him, but he had never made a grand entrance into the city; rather, he'd just quietly slipped in, as if an everyday passerby coming to visit the castle, and begun mingling with those who others identified to him as adventurers.
Then he had ended up teaming up alongside Malciore of Noe for a great many fights against that crazy Umbra guy . . . 'Wonder whatever happened to those two . . . maybe they're still fighting to this day, in some other country or something.'
It's about then that the first three come into view. The Sheikah squints his red eyes, trying to see if they're anyone he recognizes . . . but he fails to match any of the faces with names. He does, however, recognize one to be that Scribe from way back in the Tantari Cafe (OOC: you know, Orph, Alpha and Orpheous haven't really been in a topic together since then, 'cept for StS. So I suppose this ought to serve as their introduction too). Ah, more memories . . .
Memories cut short as he hears what the Scribe as just said. His eyes immediately narrow as his eyes transform from their friendly, reminiscent state into one which is feral and outraged. He manages to contain any anger he's feeling though, merely making his voice quiet and commanding as he waits for Aiden to speak, and then gives his own reply to Orpheous' greeting:
"Don't. Call. Me. Sir."
That said, though, he once again resumes his friendly state of mind, acting almost oblivious to what he's just said himself. He rises to his own two feet as Artorius forces Aiden back down, saying kindly, "I hope you have no objection to my standing, Sage; it ought to give enough room for someone else." While he's speaking he hears a new voice, but doesn't bother to look to see who it is until the elderly man identifies him. "Oh, hello Saber," the Sheikah says as he turns partially around, grinning at the boy.
"So," he says, addressing the group as a whole, "what brings all of you out here today?"

Aiden looked to the elder and was in no way about to offend the man. Slipping back into her spot she stopped mid-sit, but Alpha made it clear she would sit with a gentle but firm touch. Looking a little confused and left out she lingered in her own mind for a moment her gaze watching the Sheikah. He fascinated her. She thought of home and how nice everyone here was, even if the culture seemed a bit strange. Alpha didn’t even seem to be that bad, although maybe a little different, but so was she. Already she could feel herself warming up to him and the old man.
Then another man entered the scene… Her eyes locked on Saber, and she let out a thrilled squeak. Lunging from her sitting position she bounded to the man, a grin on her face, “SaaAaaberrrr!” She extended his name, each sound a note, drawing it out. Stopping only a few inches from him she ducked down to get into his face, for his head was bent. Reaching out a hand she conked him on the forehead. Her eyes danced and her nose crinkled with her excited grin, finally someone she knew! “Why so glum chum?”
Her gaze shifted from Saber to Alpha and instinctively she knew something had happened between the two. Beat in a tournament… her heart raced. Shame and humiliation, her face turned red. If she were to ever lose something as such her family would be dishonored as well as displeased. Straightening she faced Alpha head on, her gaze narrowed with a new uncertainty of the Sheikah. No fear showed in her bright gaze even if there should have been, only a cold confusion.
Saber was her friend and if there was bad blood between the two... Her hand went nervously to her dagger. She wasn’t accustomed to a fighting instinct and knew mages were strong and cunning, but something wasn’t right here. Her stance shifted, her feet planted firmly, but relaxed enough to dodge any unfriendly attack, she would not leave Saber alone. Still nothing was proven yet, maybe there would not be a rematch here and now, so she attempted to remain civil and friendly, “I was a tad lost when I found you.” Her tone was soft and self teasing, she got lost a lot.
On the inside she was having a sort of inner war, both men had seemed nice and kind when she had met them alone, but now… swallowing hard she did not move from her position between the two.

OOC: Ha...Saber and Alpha, mortal enemies...? Hmm...Maybe once he kills off Yassen, we can do something with that?
Nah, it's nothing as bad as that, Bri. It's simply...Well, I had the most pathetic match in the tournament. First round, never touched Alpha. Only attacked once before I was dead, even though the fight lasted several rounds. It was...Embarrasing. Although, RG hadn't taken my Exceptional Endurance into account, so I'm still holding on to that excuse, Alpha.
IC: "I see..." Saber replied to the wordmancer (OOC: Interesting word, by the way) without having really listened. He honestly knew next to nothing about the PFH, simply that it was something Orpheous was involved with, and therefore a good conversation starter. He considered leaving when he was suddenly mentioned yet again, this time by Artorius. "Yes, that would be me." He replied lightly, trying to prevent the shame from showing. His body remained in the same position as he waited for Alpha's gloating. Out of the top of his eyes, through the thin hairs hanging down and defractillating (OOC: Yes, I'm making that word up. I spent a whole minute trying to think of the word I wanted to use, but couldn't come to a conclusion. So sue me.) his field of vision, he saw the Mage simply flash a grin at him, with a nonchalant acknowledgement of the mercenary's existence. Well, I suppose that went better than usual. He raised his head and was about to respond to the Sheikah's query when he was seperated from the inquirer by another Sheikah, his head being thrown back roughly as she gave her usual greeting.
Blinking up into the sky for a few seconds, he lowered his gaze onto the back of Alpha's head, choosing not to reply to the peppy Bard. "I just happened to be wandering by. Trying to figure out what to do with the dagger." He stated these words simply, placing them before the group as facts, and his right forefinger traced the hilt of the weapon in question thoughtfully.

Kuro stretched and yawned. He hasn't done much today except his normal aimless walk through Hyrule. He did things like that when he had nothing to do, and today was no different. He wondered about, looking for something to do. Anything for that matter. Well, almost anything. And he amazingly found something to do.
He approached the group of people. He recognized some, and had no clue as to the identity of the others. Alpha particularly. Upon closer inspection, he noticed Saber and, unsurprisingly, Aiden. He saw Sage Artorius. They had never met, but Kuro had heard a little about him. Sitting next to the Sage was someone he didn't recognize. He approached the man and flashed a quick greeting. "Hey," he said. "My name's Kuro. What's your's?" Kuro didn't know what else to say. He new he needed a new way of greeting, but he couldn't think of another. Oh well, he thought. Whatever works, I guess.
Kuro heard the Sage's comment about goddesses and good men and said, "Those could make good words to a song."

OOC: Actually, Worru coined the word, Saber. It was a temporary narrative title given to Orpheous for him to use in supplementation to his name, just as I used Inkweaver. However, since Inkweaver has been copy righted, just like most of Orpheous's life, or the life I didn't make up, I think wordmancer is a good title.
IC: Responding to Alpha biting his his head off, Orpheous simply backed away a bit, and decided he wouldn't make that mistake again. Then, the mage calmed down, and Orpheous realized he just avoided being massacred.
Then, he noticed another newcomer. People nowadays, if they saw a crowd, they had to come and investigate. Someday, somebody was going to get seriously hurt doing just that, but Orpheous decided that it was simply intelligent nature to be curious. The newcomer introduced himself as Kuro, the boy from the courtyard. Orpheous gazed over at him and stated, "We were never properly introduced, my name is Orpheous. You do know my apprentice, Simon, though, do you not?"

Morning sun.
Kasei D Gobi sprang up in bed to the nice smell of eggs and bacon with toast. He knew that orange juice was already out. The shiekah got out of bed silently, and moved to his closet, sorting through his vast collection of red vests. How dull these clothes were. Even after wearing them for so long, Kasei still wonders why he keeps them. Today, he was going to do something different. He grabbed a silver shirt from the top shelf and a brown pair of pants from his drawer. After placing the garments on, the man grabbed a pair of socks and some gray sandals. He glanced around the room, at all his pictures. Smiling, he made sure to grab his sword as he went out the door.
He made his way through the cluttered hallway and down the rickety stairs, then moved through the living room to the kitchen, were breakfast was already being set on the table by Aria, who was dressed in some one-piece dress. Kasei took his place at the table and began chowing down on his plate. He nor the rest of the seven stars had any jobs to perform today. Hyrule was at piece for now. Today, Kasei just wanted some peace.
"Aria," He addressed his grandoughter, "Why don't you go find someone to play with today? I'm gonna be outside for a while." The Shiekah asked. Aria simply looked at him before giving an emotionless nod. "I might as well go find Cathy or someone. . ." She said.
"Good girl." Kasei commented as he finished his plate. He got up and headed for the door. "Expect me back around sunset!" He called. As he closed the door, Aria gave a slight grin. " . . . . Party time . . . "
Kasei decided to head north using the dirt road. Now was a time he could reminice about his past. How he and his wife used to take roads like this all the time so long ago, holding hands and telling stories, laughing and smiling. Even after, he could remember how he and so many freinds had walked together. Minato and Getsuei, Touken, that vampire Touma, and Reed, as well as many others. Kasei knew for a fact that many of his old freinds from his travels were dead. Still, he couldn't help but wonder just how many were still alive today. How many were still fighting.
It was none of his buisness, anyway. He cleared the memories from his head.
As Kasei traveled northwards, he happened across a cottage he had seen so many countless times before; that of old Artorius, one of the sages of Hyrule. Kasei smiled, and decided it was high-time to make a detour in that direction; west.
As the Rebel Flame approached, he noticed that an unusual ammount of people were assembled. He recognized a few; Orpheous, Saber, Alpha, Artorius himself, but didn't recall the others who were there. He sped up slightly, interested in what was happening. "Hello to you all today!" He called when he thought he was within earshot: five feet from Orph's ear.
OOC: Try to find the references I made in this post.
