Her feet stopped from under her. Sabrina breathed in and out heavily. She ran all the way from the restaurant to the space that was once empty hidden mostly by the thick trees but now had a small building being more and more fully constructed each day.

She walked slowly to the doorway, staring intently at the man who was standing in the doorway, glaring heavily at her. On her way, two men brought out a dead body on a stretcher. She tried not to look at the person. Sabrina knew about how harsh the trainings were. Also, construction currently needed people, those people weren't strong enough. The part of the body she saw was crushed.

"Poor guy," she muttered. Sabrina stopped in front of the man, glaring at him while he glared at her. "You called for me while I was enjoying myself. This better be worth my time."

"You're pretty cocky for a girl who has no family," he spat. She hid her flinch. The way the man acted made her think he was one of those men who agreed to joining the horrible organization. "You left our man all by himself. Don't you remember that he's our oldest member and needs protection? His memory is starting to slip, his strength is not what it seems."

She rested one hand on her forehead while waving the other. "I've heard this before. He's fine. And even, it's not like you care."

"You're right, I don't."

Sabrina flinched. She looked over at the man that was going to be burned. A sigh ran through her body. The man had left her to go inside. She was alone outside with the wind blowing at her tight braid and the small crackle of the fire nearby. Someone rested a hand on her shoulder and she jerked her elbow back, jabbing it into the person's gut. She went to flip the person, but saw who it was.

"Richard!" she gasped.

As these event unfolded, Keychain huddled in a hide away nearby. She watched carefully and sadly watched as the person was taken away. He couldn't be that old. Maybe in his early twenties, not that far to twenty five. She tried to keep her body still and the fact that her muscles didn't shake surprised her.

She wondered if the building that was being built, reconstructed or added on, was the place of where the black armored knights lived. She doubted it. The way it looked and how big it was couldn't hold the men that she had seen the night she left her village. It must be there because they figured out where she was.

"Kasei," she whispered, hoping the man had caught up to her and was sitting next to her or near enough to hear her, "Please stay seated, please." Keychain was fearful of these people. They were after her, and she had no clue why. The only crime she did wasn't even considered a crime in Hyrule. Did she possess something they wanted?

Kasei had only been just behind his little freind, and sat down as she talked. On the way here, she told him a few things he did not agree with at all, so, with a frown, he listened to her orders. "So, Let me get this strait." He said, "I can't kill them at all, and I can't show myself to them, right? Am I supposed to use esponiage to get close?" He asked, and then waited for an answer.

OoC: You spelled espionage wrong. :D

IC: "I don't know, Kasei, right now I just plan on seeing what is wrong with Sa---" Keychain cut herself off when the boy, the one that Sabrina shouted as Richard, starting to speak.

"Remind me to never sneak up on you again." Richard rubbed his gut and grinned weakly. He was a thin boy with small muscles and a lanky structure. His hair was untamed. Snarls clumped his hair like he hadn't held a brush in five years. Under his matted hair were a pair of silver eyes.

Sabrina stared at him long enough to realize what was off balance with him. "What did you do with your hair?" she questioned, not even going to comment the slightest on his last words. She reached out and ran her hands through his hair. She barely got past the hair line at his forehead. "I can't believe this! It wasn't this bad when I left. I told you I was going to comb your hair and you go and make it impossible to do so."

He searched her face for something. She was silent as she avoided his eyes and continued to try and control his hair. "There's something bugging you," he said. Sabrina sighed. Richard's eyes became steely. "Come on, you're like my sister, I can tell the difference. What's wrong?"

"I saw her. She is here. I can't believe how correct these...monsters can be," she muttered.

"How---how can she really be here?" he breathed. Sabrina shrugged her shoulders heavily.

"By the way, what happened? Did the kitchen fire go out of control? The building is half charred." Sabrina looked at the building, distracting herself from the boy only a year older than her.

"I don't know right now. I just came back from patrol. Some of the men became edgy earlier while you were gone and sent me out to check things out. Most likely they are too scared themselves," Richard said, snorting with a small amount of laughter.

Well, it seems like they have a lot of kids here. What's more important, they are deffinately looking for Keychain here. He glanced at the girl. If Kairos spoke the truth, she's important. If it is either for good or evil, her purpose will help Hyrule's history. I think coming here was a good idea.

"Keychain." He wispered to her. "Should we get closer, to better see what's going on?" He asked. Despite being a master of darkness, he wasn't all too good with hiding and deciet. He prefered to be more direct during a fight. To him, hiding like this was just shamefull. Still, there were times when espionage was needed most.

OOC: Probably spelled 'Deciet' wrong, too. :P

Keychain frowned. She wasn't all too sure. Just the fact that they spoke of her shook her up. Before Keychain wasn't even welcomed in the place that she was born all because she was so different. And now these people wanted her, but for what? Last time she checked, Keychain herself was clumsy, stuttered, and couldn't seem to get along with people all too well. The good points she had were her running and magic. Her running had saved her from being taken by them the first time.

"I'm not sure that's such---" Keychain stopped herself. The two did seem to continue moving. Even when she could hear them, she didn't think she could see them well most of the time. Sabrina continued to pace while Richard would walk, pause, kick at the ground, and walk a bit more. "Yeah, sure."

She rose to her feet, being careful not to be seen and started to move herself around the dense trees and bushes. She brought her feet down carefully, making the least amount of noise as possible. Distracted at what the two were doing, speaking once again about something, her foot came down on a dry twig and snapped loudly.

"What was that?" Sabrina questioned. Her head swiveled their way and Keychain ducked down lower.

"You chicks, always hearing things," commented Richard. He was the farthest from them at the moment, and didn't hear the small noise. "It might have been an animal. Don't become as paranoid as those guys inside. Sheesh."

Sabrina's lips twitched. She felt like shouting something at him, but the doors to the building opened and a man stepped out.

He had to be a middle aged man. His hair was buzzed to the scalp, barely even noticeable. He wasn't a very tall man, and the slight hunch in his back made him seem shorter. Glasses kept sliding down his nose. His face showed how the day took its toll on him, tired and withered. He only gave a small smile at Sabrina and Richard.

"You young ones are talking out here and it's making people panic inside," he said. His voice cracked and a yawn came out of his mouth at the end. Sabrina glanced at him with worry filled expression.

"Mentor, you usually aren't this tired, what's wrong?" she questioned.

"Some red head came and burned most of the building while you were gone. They thought it was the girl---you said her name was Keychain, right, Sabrina?--- However, when the other men explained the person, they ruled it out to be a man. Twenties maybe. It could be her older brother, but there is no evidence of one. Though with that village, you wouldn't know." He sighed. "I've been working too much with this case. I wish they would leave the poor girl alone."

"Isn't she suppose to be a master of magic, though?" Richard distracted them as he tried to do something backwards and landed in a tangle of limps on the ground instead. A small "umf" came from his mouth. Sabrina stared at him with interest.

"What were you trying to do?"

"A back flip."

So, Keychain has a brother, eh? Master of magic? If that's so, then that poses a bit of a problem. It was the truth. Kasei wasn't even supposed to be here at the moment. A general of Hyrule, and one of the Seven Stars. The issues this girl faced were important, yes, but they were none of his concern. This wasn't even a job he could accomplish without showing his true self to Keychain, and he felt quite confident that she would be unable to keep from unveiling his secret from the prying minds of Kasei's enemies. If he did that, though, this whole place could be obliterated in a heartbeat.

For now, though, I have to keep as secretive as possible. "Keychain." He said, " What do you want to do?" He asked her. If he got the chance, and she was away, without being seen, he would do it. A place like this does not deserve to exist.

~
Rimnos had been fruitless in his search. He sent a message to the other Stars in the area, as well as Denkou and Kairos. For now, he had found Jack lurking, and intended to fight the man, but not without backup.

OOC: Yeah, HINT HINT.

Keychain looked at Kasei bug eyed. "Are you crazy?" she hissed. "Nuts in the head? Not sane? Anything of the above. This isn't a good time to be asking such a thing. All I want to do is go inside when they do. Follow around and try to find my brother, Luis." The thought of not having her brother beside her, being fussed over because she injured herself too often, placed her in the feeling of emptiness. She missed everything and anything. Even the stupid little fights Luis and Aqua had.

"Sabrina, your back is bleeding. I think you should go see the cook." The mentor of Sabrina pointed to her back. A small stream of red could be seen through her thick shirt. Sabrina cursed loudly which caused her mentor to lift his eyebrows. "I don't want to hear that kind of language from you, missy. My daughter is about your age and I have no letters about such language."

"You're not allowed around her so how can you know?" retorted Richard. The man stiffened. Tears sprang to his eyes. The teen jumped to his feet. "Sir! I'm terribly sorry, I didn't mean to speak of her so."

"I never even met her," he choked. "I was pulled out of my house just when she was close. The thought of her keeps me sane. The last letter I got had a drawing in it. She looked so beautiful with her hair tied back. That was ten years ago though, she was only five."

"Which cook asks to see my wounds?" Sabrina questioned hastily. It made both Richard and Sabrina sad to see the mentor so. The way he acted gave Sabrina confidence that there were others like him, only forced to work in such a place because they didn't want to get their families involved.

"The new one. Blond hair, looks pretty young. She's a strange one, y'know?" The mentor's thoughts changed, though the sadness still stayed on his face. "She has some deep violet eyes and doesn't do anything by hand anymore. Her food is still good, mind you, but her magic skills do everything else. She spends most of her time looking at the youngsters. Speaks all the time of her children."

Sabrina hesitated before she questioned, "Does she happen to have a brass key tied around her neck with a thick silver chain? Does she finger it a lot, and speak about her daughter who gave her the name after it? The key and the chain, that is."

"Yes about the first part, I'm not sure about the second. She don't like me so much. Always pushes me away. Must think I'm like the rest, the crazy woman. Wouldn't blame her so much, though."

Keychain's body started shake. She felt like crying that moment. First she finds out about herself being an interest, and now how her mother was among them, serving food. Spinning around and saying in a choking way, "I can't stand this no more. Come and get me, will you?" Her feet moved from her quickly and silently as she moved through the forest to some place alone.

That moment the doors swung open behind the mentor, almost hitting. A woman with her tied tightly in a bun stood there. A stern look was plastered on her face. In a fist was a kitchen utensil, and the other rested on her hip. The hair has small strands coming loose, ones that were blond and also brown. She looked young to the face, but her eyes spoke differently. "Sabrina!" she said in a gasping way, "I will not tolerate the way they treat the children here. Especially girls. My daughter may look weak at times but she's got my will power. Now come on over here and I'll take you to the west wing. Only place left there now is my room. Healed it up and everything. Wonders magic can do, huh?"

"Ma'am, I think you should know---" Sabrina could not finish, for she pulled by her arms by Keychain's mother.

"The next time I serve those men, I'll put poison in each and every one of their foods!" she exclaimed. Her voice disappeared once the doors closed.
