Before you are the wide, ornately carved double doors to the North Castle Library. You enter the building and find yourself greeted by a dusty-looking librarian who points inwards, where shelves of well-kept books are stacked up in veritable walls. Here, patrons browse the works of Hyrule's finest writers.

The librarian then taps you on the shoulder, and notes:

"If you'd like to put up an extended backstory, a story about an item relating to you, or a legend of the same idea, or anything along those lines, post it here!"

OOC: sorry to mis use the purpose of this thread but my muse demands and I must answer.

A book entitled “Where My Feet Have Taken Me” by one Sir Archabold Chasto lies on the floor of the library. The inside of the cover bares an ink drawing of the author, a portly man with a handlebar moustache and a monocle. He seems quite jovial in the drawing with smile stretching his face and chest thrown forward to show off metals and ribbons of some unknown military carrier. Flipping through several chapters of stylized prose it seems that the overall theme that is only slightly hidden is that Sir Archabold Chasto is the panicle of human accomplishment. In the north he brought civilization to the barbarians and taught them to read and write. On a desert island on which his boat was beached after a storm he fought and tamed some strange amphibious beast. He then lashed it to his ship and used it as propulsion. He led several armies of natives to victory over some evil dictator and won over dozens of stunning princesses and priestesses.
Amongst the pages of heroics and daring do’s are short essays of the cultures with illustrations of the people architecture and art. One of these sections has been earmarked, but the title obscured by charcoal. Upon closer inspection someone wrote “Home” across it and the smudged it almost beyond recognition. The pages speek of a culture of learned men and women who could fight like lions and whose political maneuverings gave Archabold “quite a headache.” Large temples, monoliths of stone, converted into libraries, coliseums, and courts of law.
One of the pages is pocked by dried water upon the page as though it was left out in the rain. Under these paper puckers are words that speek of a maternal rite of celebration. From the time that it is discovered that a child has been conceived it is a time of celebration. Several stringent laws exist to prevent political movements of any kind against a house that bares a child in the womb. Running fingers over the water marks again, they are not rain drops, but tears.

Summary: The story of the Blaze Blade, how it was made, etc.
In the land of Incinera, there was a great war known as the Elemental War. The mighty dragons of Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth were wreaking havoc upon the lands of Incinera, Gamo, Harshak, and Sinyou (the latter three being smaller countries off the coast of the former). No one could defeat the foul beasts. But then, a young one known as Hazza harnessed the power of the fire dragon, forging it into a curious blade, one of twisted metal. The sword was henceforth known as the Blaze Blade. With this, he cast down the Fire dragon, sealing it inside a shard of crystal, one of 4 parts of an amulet. This was kept in the dungeon forevermore.

Book: A Tale of gods part 1

Mazor the ruler of hell tried to trick the three godesses,
to rule the real world himself.
But the godesses knew Mazor's Ambitions, and sealed him in another dimension.
But before he was banned, he created a evil monster...
He ordered the monster to find away to get out of the dimension.
The name of that monster is .... Ganon.
Evently he found out, but that is a story for a other time.

Title: Virage Eclipse: A Prophecy

Summary: The legends of the Virage Eclipse, what happens, etc.

In the peaceful contenent of Ininera Major; which consists of Incinera, Tenoblen, Gamo, Harshak, Sinyou, Regal, and Baku; 8 dragons of the Elements Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Thunder, Light, and Shadow tortured the lands.

These dragons tortured the lands for many years, and fearing the calamity would never cease, the Gods of Incinera: Parrin, Wingen, and Netha decided to send a valiant knight from each country (two from Incinera)to slay the fell beasts. All dragons were sealed within the 8 shards of the Eclipse, then made into weapons to slay evil forevermore.

But that isn't the whole story. Every year, the Virage Eclipse occurs, causing the dead to show themselves to the Royalty of Incinera. Once, these "mirages" were made visible to everyone by use of the shards of the dragons. The Eclipse Mirages have access to all knowledge, but by bindings set upon them, they can't tell it all.

A tale of Gods part 2

After Mazor was sealed, peace returned to the world.
Ganon Mazor's loyal minion fled to Hyrule to escapefor the godess tried,he still tried to find out how to break the seal.
He created a army of monsters to attack villages in Hyrule, to gain information.
But soon he found out that the Godess left a piece of their power on the world.
The triforce of courage in the forest of lost times in South Hyrule
The triforce of wisdom onder neath the sea of Bioncar ( west of the hyrulia sea )
The triforce of power in the temple of gods in Calatica

Baruda the god of death, used its dark gifts to help Ganon and they decleared war agianst the world itself. This was called War of the the lost traingles.
Ganons army attacked Calatica and he stole the triforce of power.
The king of Hyrule prayed for the gods help and the three gods appeared to the world. The gods created a army of angels and even the other traingles to counter attack Baruda. And the succeeded, Mazor was also banished to the void, but Ganon fled agian with the triforce of power. The gods now ruled the nether world to and turned hell to heaven. For the triforce sake they placed the other triforce to another location unkown by people only by the royal family. Some of the people that obeyed Baruda they fled to Angola and they formed a aliance the Baruda Aliance.
and they al want to free Mazor and Baruda so they could rule the world forever...

Beginning
In the distant island of Baku, there was a young lad named Windigus. He aspired to be a warrior, and traverse the Incineran Sea as a pirate or mercenary. He thought his dream would finally come true when he finally made his raft.
"Yay! Now, I can be a pirate! Or a mercenary... Well, now I need some items..." said Windigus. His two best friends walked by.
"Hey, Windy! You finally got that raft together! That's great!" exclaimed Eruka. Eruka was Windigus' best friend. He secretly admired her more than a friend, but he could never admit to it. Rego, his other friend, suspected something, and teased Windigus to no end about it. But he always shut up when Eruka was around, because he respected Windigus.
"Well, I want to go with you. Both of us. We can help," said Rego.
"Great! I need you to find a sack full of meat, and a lot of salt. Also, find a bunch of coconuts so we can make some Pengo Juice. Oh yeah, and a couple fishnets. I doubt we can fit enough on that to feed us the entire trip!" instructed Windigus.
Needless to say, the three carried out their errands, eager to embark on a great quest. And when they got all they needed, they stowed it away in the cave to the south. They were to embark the next day.

The next day, Windigus awoke ready for a fresh day. He had everything he needed, and he was to set sail today. He met Eruka outside.
"Hey, Eruka."
"Hi, Windy."
"Where's Rego?" Windigus asked.
"He's not here yet." answered Eruka. They waited for a while, chatting about this and that. It took so long that tey had to sit down. Windigus and Eruka sat on the log, facing the sea.
"Windy..."
"Yes?"
"What do you think it's gonna be like?" asked Eruka, holding her charm. It was a star with wings within a circle.
"Well, Gerran said that the sea is the most beautiful thing in the world. It stretches for miles, without a single breach." Eruka dropped her necklace. Her and Windigus both bent to pick it up, and their hands touched. They looked up. Their eyes met, and Eruka's face turned red. They quickly withdrew. Rego arrived.
"Hey, guys. Sorry, I slept in, lil' Pete didn't wake me." he said. Lil' Pete was Rego's chicken. He always crows when its time to awaken.
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" exclaimed Windigus. They travelled to their cave and got their food. They went back around to their raft and loaded it up. They were on their way.

Wind of Fate
Windigus, Eruka, and Rego were on the raft. They had a system set up: Windigus would watch the sea, Eruka would cook the food (which was very hard considering they were on a raft) and Rego would navigate. That night, at dinner, Eruka made sure everyone ate ALL their food. It was disgusting; Eruka never cooked. After dinner, they dumped the scraps overboard. While Windigus watched the ocean, Eruka sat beside him.

"You were right. It is beautiful." she said.

"Yes. I wonder what's gonna happen to us. Will we be pirates? Or mercenaries? Will we even survive the sea?" replied Windigus.

"So many questions... Will we figure them all out? We will have more questions in the future. I can feel it."

"What are you two talking about? We need all the help we can get! There's a storm!" exclaimed Rego. He was right. Windigus wasn't paying attention because of Eruka. Would he ever convey his feelings for her? That was another question. But not soon answered. The storm was approaching fast, and they were in a dingy raft. They would be destroyed!

"Man the sails! We're gonna sail around it!" yelled Windigus. Rego unfurled the sails and turned them in the direction away from the storm. But he was too late. The storm hit hard. They were thrown around, and Eruka fell overboard. "Eruka!" Windigus screamed. He held out his hand for her, and she grasped it. The raft gave a sudden lurch, and they were seperated. The last thing he heard was Eruka's screaming before he fainted.
