Eberron was there. Anyone who had seen the event would have agreed with that statement, if they had known that this was his name. One moment there had been a space in the middle of the courtyard. And the next, that space was occupied by a very confused Goron with a rather less confused companion. Whether some would fill in the gaps, and say he had moved with unmatched grace and speed was to be decided by those who saw the occurrence. But it seemed unlikely from looking at the two. The Goron had a clear look of disconcerted worry on his face that would have been in open view, were it not for the enormous wooden hat that rested heavily upon his head, it's rim tilted over his brow and obscuring much of his face. The huge travelling bag that was the Goron's constant companion looked surprisingly clean and undamaged compared to his actual body, which appeared cracked and dirty.
His companion didn't look to be in a much better condition. The Zora's eyes were dull and shrunken, his skin and lips seemed dry and withered. The closer observer would have noticed that despite his emaciated and withered form he held himself in a manner surprisingly strong and resolute for someone deprived of nourishment for such a time. In reality, Fraijn had not looked much healthier then this for some time. The cane held in his hands was casually passed from one to the other, each time it landed his knuckles cracked as he gripped the hard wood with his dry palms. His eyes wandering lazily with a look of disgust, The Zora let out a rough cough and settled with the cane in his left hand supporting himself with it. Turning to Eberron his voice rattled in an angry mutter with a hint of some unknown accent.
"Let's get ye moving. Along wi' ye. Do you see sommin? Sommin interesting?"
But Eberron was far too busy taking in the world around him to answer. He looked at the hustle and bustle of the courtyard around him. It was familiar. That was a good word to describe it. Sound waves reverberated through the air and chaotically smashed against each other, and yet out of the chaos Eberron's ears formed a sense of contentment and safety. It was familiar. And that was good. It had been so long since he had heard anything. Or seen anything for that matter. He felt like his senses had just been shut off for... well, he wasn't sure how long. A long time. Dazed and confused by everything, Eberron just shut his eyes and lay on the floor, a pitiful sight.
Now getting angry, Fraijn scowled. He didn't have time for this. Raising his staff he stamped it into the ground in frustration to empathise his words.
"I. Will. Get. Ye movin. If. It. Kills me!"
After there was no response, Fraijn looked around. He wasn't used to people. They'd interfere. They'd notice. Well, just this once, why not let them. Let's get this over and done with. He'd done enough as it was. Someone else could pick up the pieces.
"Look, ye see anyone else out there? See anyone ye knew?"
Fraijn's voice bellowed out strangely. For such a hoarse noise, it travelled far. Eberron's only response was to take the heavy bag off his shoulders and curl up into a ball with a pitiful groan. It was all too much. This voice wasn't familiar. The sounds were. Why wouldn't it just leave him alone to get his bearings.
"Ye'll get up, and find 'em. I've had enough of ye! Get yerself up. Find another babysitter, they 'aint interested in ye any more! So I'll be rid of ye until they want ye again!"
After waiting for a few seconds the silence lingered on the air, stretching time so that for Fraijn it felt like forever. His patience snapping, Fraijn fell upon the Goron in a rage battering him with his staff until the Goron rolled open with a moan of pain and flailed weakly around to stop the assault. He was clearly in no condition to do much else. Fraijn however, had little to no pity.
"PATHETIC! PATHETIC! WEAK! STUPID! DUMB! BEAST!"
Laying into the helpless Goron, Fraijn only stopped when out of breath. His ribcage visibly rising and falling as he panted, licking his lips with his long tongue. Eberron, if anything, seemed to be in a worse position. Waiting, Frajin continued to breath deeply as he rustled around in the upturned Goron's bag, drawing out a flask of water. Leaning on one foot, he took a single brief swig. He mustn't get too complacent. If he tempted himself with too much, he'd give in to greed and avarice. Like these filthy creatures laid out around him. Only the gods knew why he continued to feel pity and aid them as he did. As he was doing now. Hopefully someone would hear the racket he was making and come take the Goron out of his hands. Whether they knew him or not at this point he no longer cared. He'd kept his part of the bargain. Eberron was in and amongst "civilisation". Someone else could take it from here. And if they didn't come soon... Well he'd just have to make more noise wouldn't he. Letting out a wheezing breath of satisfaction, Fraijn put the flask down and smacked his lips before raising his staff above his head...
OOC: Hello. I'm back. After a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time. Suffice to say, there is nowhere I would rather have been then posting here. I can quite honestly admit to that, I've been very VERY busy with a lot of stuff that I'd rather not go into detail in the middle of this. Either way, at the back of my head I've been considering for a while how to jump back into Eberron's storyline that I had planned out. It's meant some alterations to ideas that I had, but this is the start (as they say) of something beautiful. Okay, maybe that's too much. Make it "nice".
