A crowd was gathering near the fountain, murmurs rising like heat in the air. A powerful looking man stood atop a rising made from a wooden box in front of the fountain. His eyes were black as coal, and his hair was orange- a hint of Gerudic descent. His square jaw complemented his broad shoulders, each with a muscular arm extending down to his large formidable hands. His muscular frame gave him an air of leadership, command, and strength. Despite his intimidating aura, two Gerudo women stood in front of him, each armed with a naginata, and each eyeing the crowd carefully.

"Come one, come all!" He screamed out to the crowd. "Tomorrow morning, we will send a clear message to pirates everywhere that their presence will not be tolerated."

The people of North Castle threw their fists in the air, cheering for the man. As you wander closer, you hear that the crowd is really quite pleased with the man.

"Tomorrow morning at noon, a Zora pirate will be executed in Parapa Village Town Square. The more of you that show up, the louder the message will be. Pirates will no longer plague our shore with their diseased money-grubbing hands! Caravans will be leaving for Parapa immediately. I've arranged free rides for all who'd like to attend. We'd appreciate your attendance."

The crowd roared in approval, and some were already cramming into the caravans that lined the courtyard.

As you walk through the courtyard of Hyrule Castle, the cries of a prepubescent boy reach your ears. His voice cracks wildly as he repeatedly calls out to the crowd.

"PIRATE EXECUTION FOILED BY MYSTERY MEN!! HYRULE ABLAZE WITH CONTROVERSY! READ ABOUT IT HERE!"

You turn to see him staring at you, a newspaper in his hand. A classic poor-boy hat on his head, his curly red hair sprang out from all angles. His mailbag was nearing depletion, and as you realize that he has only one copy left, it hits you that everyone around you is walking around with their nose in the paper.

"You know what? Here." The boy states, a firm tone in his voice.
"I've had record sales today. This one's on me, it's seriously worth reading!" He smiled a youthful grin before turning his mailbag upside down. A moth escapes from inside, fluttering away into the crowd. "Well that's it! Time to head home!" With that, he dashed into the crowd of people, bumping into several who weren't watching where they were going.

On the front page, in bold letters, it read:

Folding the paper and tucking it under his arm, Sovelis lit his pipe, pondering the news. So there was some sort of attack. "Parapa... been forever since I was out in the desert. to damn hot and too much sand for my tastes. I'll stick to the forests and fields." The red cloaked mage blew a ring of smoke into the air, leaning against the corner of the nearest shop. He had been out of the loop in the happenings and adventures that unfolded in the lands of Hyrule for quiet sometime. The Tempest had been absorbed in his research and had paid little heed to the outside world until a few days ago. And it showed. The man was significantly paler than he had been before and was sporting a scruffy patch of chin hair, but then again, adventurers tend to get allot of sun, and mingle with the townsfolk. The joys of having a home far away from the bustle of the Castle Town.

"Mysterious men... escaped pirates. This is too good too pass up on. I need to stretch my legs a bit anyways... Time for some good old fashion detective work, followed by a strong dose of blowing up the badguys." he tilted his head a bit, grinning. "That sounded so cliche...."
