The forest was the same as always, little creatures scampering or flapping about while people traveled through the worn paths on their ways to and fro. Everyone was careful to get out of the forest proper and into safety before it got dark, as all manners of monsters wandered Hyrule once the sun had set.
Safety wasn't as much of an issue as the midday sun hung over the forest canopy, though, as the young boy Worru walked between the trees. He was deep in thought, mentally berating himself at letting his skills get to the point that they had fallen. A sword hadn't been held in his hand for months, and he hadn't tried to enter a cave since the Queen Gohma incident had concluded.
The boy was nervous now, even in the calm forest, glancing around whenever a noise was made, either by him or anything else in the forest. He was as alert as anything, but with his lack of activity recently, he wouldn't be able to handle anything that dangerous.
Spotting a tall tree nearby, its roots curling around some old stone, the boy sat down. He was deep into self-deprecating territory now, leaning back against the tree trunk. Even if he was younger, he wouldn't be any good at fighting or handling a tense situation. Right now, something could sneak up on him and just -CRACK-

Sunlight trickled down from above, peeking through the forest canopy. Worru only looked back up through the hole he had fallen through, the old stone apparently having been the weakened roof of whatever building this had once been. He hadn't been knocked out, he had only been laying down as he inwardly put himself down.
How could he have ignored such an obvious structural problem? Why did he not try to get up, to survey his surroundings outside of the large door at the far end of the cavern? Why did he not try to ju-
Worru stood up, brushing dirt and dust out of his hair as he sighed, trying to stop the self-deprecating thoughts from keeping him on the ground. He looked up, and after one attempt, realized that his jumping abilities weren't going to get him out from the cavern he had fallen into. In fact, the best thing he could do was...
"Hey! Hello!? Anyone out there!?"
He simply just asked for help. Hopefully someone would come by and try to help him back up.
OOC: trying to give worru an actual plot this time around. from current outlook, this could become a regular temple, with stat-based fighting and puzzles, but i'm leaving that up to whoever wants to help me out here.
i'm just as rusty as worru is, mind you, so apologies in advance for a possible slowness in posting
