Hiro returns to the spot he last saw his father... the man he never wants to see again. Last time he was here, he unlocked the power of the Emperor, and smited Remix. The medallions are safe in his pouch under his mail. Suddenly, the armos come to life. They attack Hiro at once. "Oh, shit... damn Armos..." Hiro says, looking for an opening. He sees one, then dashes toward it, and climbs up the face of the rock wall. Knowing his wooden sword won't harm them, Hiro whips out his bow and fires 3 volleys of arrows. They smite 3 of the five. Hiro jumps down, and slashes one with his sword, using the inertia of the jump to empower him. Wow... battling hasn't been this hard since befor I got the Fire Shard... Hiro thinks, killing the last one with a Force Spell. Then, he Great Fairy of the Sands appears to him.
"O great warrior, thank you for rescuing me from the horrible armos. I shall grant you one wish. Choose wisely."
Hiro thinks for a moment. Which one... ask where the Po Rune is? Or for the Fire Shard? No... I remember now. Remix tried wishing for it years ago...
"I have decided! Great fairy, impart to me the knowledge of the whereabouts of the Po Rune!"
"Tis neither here nor there, but in 3 different places. One is in the Mirage Oasis. THat is the one you seek! Farewell, King of Incinera!" The fairy disappears, leaving Hiro with new knowledge.
Neither here nor there? What did she mean? 3 peices? Where is this Mirage Oasis? Hmm... this knowledge comes with a price... longing for more... Hiro decides to go to the Castle Library and search for a book on the Mirage Oasis. He does so.
