Nogare fell into the hole, and instantly fell into slumber, falling face-first. But he could feel the surroundings moving about quickly, and murmurs, and the hard brick he had fallen onto was not there anymore, and instead things were holding onto his legs and arms.
Only minutes seemed to pass before he woke to find a soggy towel on his forehead, and a few people looking down at him. Who were these people? They were of different races, but each was somehow the same...
"He is awake..." One, a Gerudo said plainly. I found that he had been sleeping on a mat, which was quite a bit more comfortable than what he had been sleeping on for most of his life.
Nogare looked around, still feeling the burning in his head, and asked weakly, "'Where am I?" They did not answer, but rather another, a Hylian, brought some food to him.
"Eat. You must have been travelling for a long time before you came upon this place." Nogare ate quickly, having not eaten since they had left the Deku Woods two days ago, but he was still too weak to eat the whole thing. He had been eating, and only know looked at what he had just started to eat. Expecting something horrible, he was relieved to see a small apple, not quite ripe, but not rotten, abnd continued his feast.
When he had finished, he began to tell the Hylian, and all the others, of whaty had happened. "I was going to battle, to a Fort just North of here, and I stayed behind, to b-" He suddenly remembered what had happened. "Bury my friend... he was killed during the battle. I had to, even when the others would not stop for me..." Although he spoke weakly, there was a strongness in his voice.
But he couldn't continue, since the others had already understood. "You are likely weak from the battle; We knowthat fort, athough we know very little of it. It is only a little bit north of here. It is fortunate that you are still alive." Nogare smiled shortly. "If you are hungry later, just tell us, or if you think you have enough strength, come to the table."
Nogare nodded, then said, "...But I still don;t understand who you are. And how much time has passed since I fell asleep?"
A little behind the Hylian was a Deku, who was not nearly as tall as the rest. Seeing it suddenly made Nogare jump, and his face darkened. He said, "All we will say is that we are very lucky to be alive. I will tell no more. As for your nap, it has been three days." He looks over to a clock that is ticking silently above the door. "... And thirty-two minutes.
"
Nogare looked away. How could he have been asleep for that long. He needed to get back to North Castle. There could be danger, and people needing his help. He tried to get up, but the others told him to stay. He hesitated for a moment, but he didn't have the strength anyway. They slowly departed from him, and he waited... We knew that he needed rest. He had to get back soon, though. It won't b long before there is a rumor that he is dead, and will fear him when he returns...

"Not everyone wants a hero." -- Macil Nassos
We never know what legacy we'll leave
Some promises are impossible to keep
It doesn't matter what happens. I'll find the answers I'm looking for.
Keep head down and away. None can know. It's a secret from everybody.
Why can't they see what's right under their noses?!
So am I the answer or am I the master, hmm?
