What font is that?
It's not a font, it's English in Arabic characters.
Wow, Arabic looks a lot like the Phoenician alphabet.
The Arabic language is a derivative of Phoenecian, or at least extraordinarily influenced by it. It shares many of the same symbols used in Greek and Carthaginian.
Are there any ASCII equivalents for this? Because I'm tempted to write a program to convert it to a font I can actually read efficiently. :P
Women... Dude, I have yet to meet a single woman who has an honest to goodness conscience.
They don't seem to care if they hurt you or why... I've decided to stop dating until college, myself.
It's actually not that far away.
Uhmm......
I could barely understand that...but uhh...

Mabye it's because you have terrible taste in people, Mr. Sexist?
I, for one, know that some people in my school have been dating each other for years and are perfectly happy together.
Hint: Don't try to date someone just because they're popular or because you think they're hot. You'll most likely only make a fool out of yourself, and probably cause some other damage. How about dating a girl you actually like as a person?
Where the hell did that come from?
I assumed that if he believed all women were evil just because he never met one that was nice to him, it's either because he's naive to telling if somebody is like that, or it's something about him.
Plus, if you call all women evil, that typically means your a sexist, right?
You've never been in a relationship, have you?
Mah boi, 50's celluloid has shaped your life, hasn't it?
I have, actually. I ended it because I didn't really like her all that much.

Ooo, did I just touch the wrong nerve on you, Whocares? I love how quick you are to explode on someone because you disagree with them.
I didn't say all women were evil.
Oh, and just so you know: I've never dated a popular girl. Oh, and FYI, Last girl I dated I was best friends with for two years, so you can shove all the crap you just spewed at me right back up your butt.

Remmeber when I said I thought it was cool how Tetsuo from Akira killed his girls? Yeah, that... remember what you said? :P
He said that he thought every woman he met was selfish and heartless. I fail to see how you can justify such misogyny.
It's not misogyny, it's cynicism. Once you've had your heart broken as many times as ZV, you stop trusting the fairer sex.

Cynicism towards women
IS misogyny.
Cynicism is distrust, misogyny is violence.
I guess you're right JQ.
I'm more cynical towards women actually staying true to one person because of my experience in dating.
I'm sorry if I offended anyone, and it can be said that men are just as bad as girls.
But here's the thing: When a man is going to hurt a woman, it's extremely obvious.
When women get hurt, it's normally because they dumped the boy that cared about them in order to date a complete douche bag.
The guy that my last ex dumped me for?
He lives in a filthy house on the bad side of town, and always smells like garbage.
He wheres a Mohawk that he never puts up, so it just hangs on the side of his head.
He told her and I quote: "You will never be more important to me than my pot. So stop asking me to quit for you."
This guy has no aspirations or goals in life, and plans to commit suicide if he hasn't died by age 20.
He has fits of blind rage over dumb reasons, and he doesn't bother with school (he's home schooled).
She was my best female friend. We'd been through seemingly everything together before we decided to date each other. I trusted her with my heart and she crushed it. This is one of the reasons I have trouble trusting women. The woman I trusted the most threw me away for the guy I described above. Want to know why? Because he was an ex that she dated for a month, and she was feeling like she screwed him over. THAT is why she cut ties with me, and THAT is why I stopped talking to her. I hope this was enough for you people to understand why I do in fact have problems trusting.
And today's Darwin award goes to...

Don't be.
I knew very well going into the relationship that by dating your best friend, you risk losing them.
I just never thought she'd leave me, let alone for someone like him.
edit: But these things make a man stronger, both mentally and emotionally. I think these experiences only make me wiser and stronger. In the long run, it's all good. A year from now, I'll care even less than I do now, and she'll be stuck in his mess. I hope to find my true love next year in college :)
By then, this will all be a memory and nothing more. I know that by God taking her away from me, he has something better in store for me, and I just can't wait to see what it is.

edit: Going to bed. Night guys, much love.
Wait what
First, I'd just like to say it's not a good idea to put "going to bed" and "love" in the same sentence.
Sorry, I didn't have any idea and just assumed you were going through typical dating routines. (Still, you were hiding out a lot...)
Plus, if you feel get romantic feelings toward a friend and you think that they're nice enough to risk losing the friendship over, then go for it. If they dump you afterwords, then mabye they weren't as good of a friend as you first thought.

Overgeneralization; love is a LOT more complicated than that.
Of course, I knew typing that message that you would probably be the first to thrash me.
Well, let's put it this way: Would you rather get the damn thing over with, or would you like to go through years of torturing yourself for hiding your true feelings?

this is true.
However, I think that sometimes you don't like people when you first date or meet them, but you realize that you like them over time. I'm not trying to justify dating someone you hate at all, just saying what I feel about it.

Incorrect; love isn't complicated, whiny, immature people who want to be in love and force it make things complicated.
Why do you say that Shika?

Incorrect; love isn't complicated...
It certainly isn't simple.
Also, love really is blind.
Quote from: Pyrgusfinn on September 21, 2009, 10:10:24 PM
Why do you say that Shika?
Because I've seen several healthy relationships where, even if life is complicated and the relationship gets hard to keep, the love part is fine. It's when the love isn't really there but they say it is, or they aren't faithful, that things get complicated.
I have to agree with HNS. Love isn't something easy, and you really will do just about anything for someone when you are in love. Things are different; sometimes you do things you would never do otherwise, just to see them smile.
If love were easy, everyone would have it.
@Shika
but getting to that point of comfort with someone takes work. It isn't something that just happens.
