So, I witnessed a crash today...

Yes. I did. It wasn't pretty, either.

I was walking home from school as I always do, and one of the first things I have to do is cross a street to a gas station. This makes it easier so I don't have to cross the street later. Anyway, me and this other guy were waiting for the cars to stop, and finally, after approximately one minute, one car stopped to let us cross. Behind him was a beige car and a blue pickup. As me and the other guy were crossing the road, I hear a sudden SLAM. I look at the cars, and behind the pickup is a large cloud of debris. I yell something profane -I forget what-, but the other guy laughs and continues on his marry way. I'm somewhat offended, because I know what had happened. There is a patch of grass in front of the Gas station, so I stand there, and watch as the cars involved-the beige car, blue pickup, and now a red car-pull into a theater next to the gas station. The red car's front is flattened, the blue pickup has a messed-up bumper and shattered rear window, and the beige car suffered only a dented rear. The driver's door of the red car opens, and -this may sound like a little dark humor, sorry- it looks like opening scene for a Dracula movie, you know, with the smoke filling the doorway of an empty room. From the smoke, the driver climbs out, and one will notice the air bags went off. He appears to be okay, walking upright, not rubbing anything in pain. The other drivers are in the same shape. After several minutes, I finally decide to walk over to the drivers involved to see if they are okay. Again, they are fine. I ask what happened, and the driver of the red car says "Bad brakes. They were bad before, but..."
So, the clean-up guys arrive, followed by the police, and after the drivers report what happened, one of the officers walks up to me and says "Hey! How ya doin?" *sigh* Such enthusiasm. That's what makes our lives enjoyable.
Anyway, after I'm asked all these questions, tell him what I saw, and all that, I am given a form to fill out, because I was now a witness. This whole procedure takes about one hour. School ended at 2:50. I got home at 4:09. *sigh*

We made salt in Chemistry class. Still, I can't top yours.

I got into a car crash after I let a couple kids cross the road...

But truthfully, I did some volunteer work at a Mayoral candidate's office today.  And after that, I had my weekly church youth group to help lead.

I just went to the library today.  Got a couple of books; one is mythology, the other is Celtic faerie tales.  I'm hoping they can help with my writing in some way.

I had a long day today, but one of my highlights was weeping to a few Kingdom Hearts cutscenes that I probably shouldn't have watched until I had already recuperated enough to watch them again.



Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.
