Dragonball Z fans?

Since we're in the habit of starting topics for animes, I guess I'll open one for my old favorite.  Are there any other fans here?

Meh, I don't really like it.
I guess I haven't really given it a chance but me and my two guy friends always argue about which is better, they say DBZ, I say Naruto.
From what they have said about it, it doesn't sound too good, it's all kami hami ha, look at my shiny hair grow and destroy half the world.

Yeah, I might get that today actually! Naruto is (in my opinion) better than Dragon Ball Z. Dragon Ball Z was my favorite anime for a long time, and has a spot in heart becuase it's what inspired me to draw manga. I always watched shows like Cow and Chicken when i was little. Dragon Ball Z came on one day, and i was amazed. Never had i seen such detail, and persision. I had never seen such an awesome show, and I watched it until it ended a few years ago. It was great, and my favorite character was Vegeta. Vegeta rocked! When hope seems lost, he shows up, and dominates. Goku is stronger than Vegeta. But if Vegeta was givin a good shot, he could floor Goku, and most likely anyone else. You know whats wierd? In almost every anime I watch, i like the bad guys? Vegeta, Gaara, Kimimaro, Kaiba, Slade, the list goes on! :P

Baddies tend to be the "anti-social, all-knowing, cool, "I don't need nobody's help" lone wolfs or dark lords of evil". Apparently, people like that.

First of all, I prefer the manga over the anime and I absolutely hate DBZ and DBGT, though I love the Spice Boys and Ginyu Force. However, I am a big fan of DB. It has something to do with the heroes and baddies just getting ridiculous strong and only that. There is only one baddie that is original (Guldo). All the others are evolutions of eachother that somewhere along the road get very pathetic. Same for the good guys btw.

i used to watch it all the time cause i was a BIG fan but i don't watch it any more cause i hardly watch telly now i'm mostly on the computer .

I have to agree with that unfortunately. I keep watching my friends (who are girls) and the girl I like constantly go out with people who treat them like crap and then they are sad. the next day they go out with some other as....jerk. Yet nobody appreciates the people who are there for them and help them through the times when people treat them like crap. Sorry I wrote all this, this just gets to me. A lot.

anyways, to stay on topic, I used to watch DBZ all the time when I was a kid. Now I still watch it now and then, and play the games, which are awesome. The only thing I don't like is that it has gotten too predictable.
