I just got another idea: I set up the private message inbox like a post office and only make it accessible in major cities and towns. Ypu'd still get alerts that you have new mail while out in the field, but you can only read and send mail while in town.

Hey hey, a la Majora's Mask (also, we could have a postman's hat of sorts that would allow us to check pm's in the field, but I suspect that that would be some very tricky coding ^_^)!

But yeah--why not? Gopher it! I can't see any trouble... if someone wanted to check their mail, they'd just open a new window and get NCC! Tada!

if there was a limit, i would sugest that you have the option to make it bigger. By method, I dunno, quests or paying rupees?
