Insutling my grammer, who cares, its just on the internet, no one ever actually makes good grammer, unless HNS or someone like him, but please, stop doing it, its making me mad, if you can't read something I post, then ignore it, my god.

Fierce Deity Link

I was going to start a topic on grammar. Guys, this is a forum, blog, whatever you want to call it! People!!! Grammar is NOT a huge issue! If you can read what this says: "I ain't gots no books no mores!" and you could translate it to "I no longer have books anymore!" than you just read bad grammar and you UNDERSTOOD it! Leave the poor little posters alone guys! :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Thus ends my  >:( about grammar... :P

We know that you're tired of it, but that'hs no excuse for you always being angry about ti. So over what happened yesterday, I'll have to give you a warning Jdog. It's just gotta stop somewhere and we can't tolerate this type of behavior anymore.

Here's a hint: just take your own advice and ignore it if you really care that much.

Or, oh, I don't know...try and improve your grammar? God forbid!

JDog

Well, you don't have to make fun of it everytime I make a post... well, almost everytime, and if I can read my grammer, who cares.

I have a feeling you didn't read the e-mail I sent you.  You know, the e-mail that had "Gamefreak said to take this problem to e-mail" or some form of that in the subject line.  Although, knowing you, if you did read it, you decided you didn't have to listen to me, just like you don't have to listen to anyone else unless it's something you really want to hear.

All right, before I begin, I'm partially declaring that I'm going to be as impartial as possible, so please don't get on my case, everyone, all right? Appreciated. ;)

Firstly, JDog, regarding this quote, no one's making fun of your grammar. I know that there seems to be a fine line between constructive criticism and bullying here, but they're pointing out that there's a problem that needs to be corrected. Actually, I guess it would seem lately that they are bashing on you. And you're obviously getting sick of it because they do it time and time again. Believe me, I'm tired of both cases because they're kindling and fanning the flames for conflict. Here's the thing, though: If you're sick of it, TRY to fix it. Really, the only way they'll stop (it seems so, anyway) is if you DO fix it. Pure and simple.

Secondly, the part where, "...And if I can read my grammar, who cares?" thing, everyone who reads your posts should care. It's more common courtesy than anything else, but I expect that you want people to read your posts, right? If so (just say yes :P ), then people would appreciate it if you wrote in a way that's easiest for them to read it. In other words, all because you can read your own writing doesn't mean that they can, and it's all because you and you alone do know what you wrote; others don't, so they have to read your posts to get your thought across. If it's hard for them to read, then they're more likely to not want to read it. Let me put it this way: As smart as some people may think I am (I'm not trying to sound conceited or anything ??? ), I'd rather read modern literature than Shakespearean sonnets and plays. The latter are hard to read because of all the translation, but the former is better because I don't need to translate. It's just simply reading it, and POOF, I know what the author's saying. The same thing applies here. If people can't easily read your posts, then they're not going to want to read your posts.

Again, I'm not bashing on you here. I'm basically summarizing what people are trying to say to you.

I'll also say (again) that it can also be annoying if someone keeps bringing up that your grammar needs to be polished. That needs to stop, too. Really, from what seemed at first as just suggestions somehow evolved into flaming posts. I don't care if it's truth or myth, but bashing on his grammar is not tolerated. I'm seriously considering giving warnings to the next people who bash on him about his grammar. You can still tell him that he needs to fix it, but comparing his grammar to someone else's in a rude fashion shouldn't slide.

Conversely, if someone else provokes you with those posts, don't spit fire back at them, as that's going to get you more warnings. Just talk to me, another moderator, or Gamefreak; and we'll deal with it for you. Granted, HNS and JQ did provoke you with posts regarding your grammar (and if they do it again, they'll have to be warned; as an instance, JQ saying that you're "not too bright" should be warnable), but don't explode on them as a result. Okay, buddy? :)

well, I'm sorry I exploded, I was just in a bad situation, my parents have been, well, very cranky lately, and yea, I haven't been feeling the greatest lately, so yea, guess I got a little out of controll there, and I'm sorry about that, but yea, heh, I actually took the time to read all of that post magmar, every last word! XD, it took me like 8 minutes haha, yea, I know, I'm a slow reader, but yea, Sorry for exploding like that, I just don't like it when people insult me like that, it makes me really mad, and sometimes when one does it(unless its a really good friend of mine and I know they're kidding) I usually explode worse than swearing, take last year during baseball season for one... I don't think we need to go into details of that...
