my guess is that he gets power gloves or bracelets because in the E3 2006 trailer it shows him picking up a really big boss.

You use the magnet boots to beat a boss in Wii version. You equip them then grab a chain on the guys legs and pull it. Then you slash his head  :D

I'm I the only person to have noticed this?  The boss in the Wii version is going to be in the Cube version also.  The only difference between the two versions is slight graphical updates and the Wii version uses a faerie as a pointer for the Wii-mote.
