Chapter 2: The Start Of the Dark Forest

   Before Link went to the Dark forest he stopped at his home to pick up a few of his things. And he said goodbye to his mom. He opened the door to his house, man I have a lot of work to do to get to the Dark Forest, he thought. In the first few minutes of the trip were quite boring but he found a few things to make it more exciting.
   He stopped and saw something that sort of startled him, and he drew his sword, but it was just a cat, so he continued. Then he saw an evil looking creature. And he knew what it was, a Re-Dead. He fought bravely but their were to many of them. He fought and fought and then he saw one of the Hyrulian guards.
   "Hey you, help me." He yelled from a distance.
   Then man saw him, and drew his sword and came for the assistance and together they beat the Re-Dead's.
   "Thanks for the assistance, can you help through my journey to the Dark Forest?" Asked Link.
   "THE DARK FOREST, why are you going their, there'll be more Re-Deads there, then we just did." Said the guard.
   "Im going there to get to Ganondorf's tower. To save Princess Zelda." Responded Link.
   "Then I guess I could help you through the Dark Forest." Said the guard. "Names John by the way, what's your name."
   "My name's Link." Link said.
   "Well, nice to meet you Link." Said John.
   Link liked his new friend and didn't want him to go. They started toward the Dark Forest. It was about five minutes later when more of the Re-Deads showed up and started taking Links stuff. Link said "Stop that." Link pulled out his shield and sword, and the guard did the same. They started fighting them.
   Link was starting to get annoyed. Some of the Re-Deads were taking there Rupees and throwing them all around. Link stopped that in a hart beat. In seconds flat they were all gone. Link lost so much Rupees, he was almost poor. "Dumb Re-Deads." He said.
   "Link, did you lose anything." Asked John.
   "Yes they took my Rupees. I only have six now. I started out with 30." Link replied.
   They started looking for the Rupees. Link already found about ten of them, and John found the rest. "Here you go." John said handing him the Rupees.
   "How much food do we have." Link said.
   "Just enough for us to last a few hours, there's a town a few minutes away, we'll stop their." Said the guard. They made it to the town, it was the town of Johan. Johan was a little bit smaller than Hyrule.
   "Look a store." Said Link.
   "Yeah, lets stop there and get some things." Said John.
   Link and John started to the store when all of a sudden Re-Deads appeared. "They never stop following us do they?" Link asked.
   They fought it and beat it. " Ganondorf has already taken over Johan." Said the Guard.    "That means he's close to Hyrule." Said Link. "We've got to stop him, before every body was gets destroyed and ruled by Ganondorf." He finished.
   Link was worried, he might not ever see his mom or family or friends again. He thought for awhile.
   "Link we can't just stand here and think, we got to get to the store and get some things and then we got to get out of here."
   "OOH, ok, lets go." Said Link. They started walking toward the store, they made it.
   "Hello, may I help you." Asked the clerk.
   "Yes, do you have traveling supplies, like food and water." Link asked. The clerk showed them were they could get it and they picked it up. "I see Ganondorf has already taken over Johan."
   "Yes, the Re-Deads come in and take a lot of the things I own without paying, and destroy the town, the mayor is already quite angry with it. He went to Hyrule for assistance." Finished the Clerk.
   "Hyrule, that's were we're from." Said Link. "We're going to stop Ganondorf from this, I got a message from Princess Zelda here self." He finished.
   "Hyrule, I"ll send a message to the Mayor quickly and you two can go to the small tunnel and destroy the "Ruler" of Johan. Ganondorf has one of his high generals guarding the place. He lives in the deepest part of the cave." He finished.
   "Alright, he should be easy." Link said. "Bye."
   Link and John stepped out of the store and started for the cave, and on the way there they walked into the mayor. "Hi, are you the Mayor?" Asked Link.
   "Why yes I am. Are you Link and John The Guard of Hyrule?" Asked the Mayor.
   "Yes, did you get the message from the Clerk?" Asked Link.
   "Yes I did, and the "King" is right through this cave. All you need to do is find the code to open the door, it shouldn't be to hard it's a 3 number code, and the first number is a 4." Said the Mayor. "Just giving you a few tips."
