Ok those kids had way too much time on their hands to make a movie out of it, however it was pretty entertaining especially with the male "fairy" reviving him.

And yes I believe everyone here knows about the Zelda "movie" which looks absolutely pathetic...so far it makes the Super Mario Bros. movie look like an Oscar winner.

I know it is but I have seen high school kids make better quality films and I am not kidding. I do love Link's hair in it though as it reminds me of the mid 80s. But the movie is complete crap and that is why there has never been a real movie made about LoZ. It is too hard and well video games do not make good movies, see Super Mario Bros, Resident Evil, and Final Fantasy.

Now an animated or CG movie for Zelda might be good, like FFVII: Advent Children, but I doubt anyone would do that as Advent Children was a straight-to-DVD anyways.

If Mario, the top gaming franchise in the world, could not work...nothing will.

Well, OOT was the most successful game of all time.

The movie is never going to come out, they've already realized it won't work years ago, BEFORE they even THOUGHT a movie might happen. Whydo people even THINK the movie will happen?

Well, it will still be terrible. Video Games were NEVER made to be a movie. It's just impossible for them to collide with good results. Plus, the graphics are terrible.

No, I mean Zelda. Although Zelda might be better in cartoon form rather than live action, it still won't score more than 2 stars.

For some reason, the third YouTube one made me have fits of laughter and awe at the same time.

It looks nice, but corny, and it's really good for an ameteur, but... no. Zelda would make a very terrible live action movie. Maybe a decent CGI film, but... I don't know.

I'd like to see a movie version of Majora's Mask, it's short enough of a game to not be three hours long.

Why do people repeatedly say Zelda can't be made into a good live-action film? If I'm not mistaken, people said the same thing about TLotR. And now that Nintendo have their own studio they will be directly involved.

Now, tell me what would look awkward. The Moblins? A good director would make them look real enough. The Stalfoses? Never seen PotC? :-* Link's tunic? Actually, one of the few things the makers of the fan film Hero of Time are doing right is his tunic. The monsters? Even movies from the 60's/70's can do good monsters.

Maybe the fact that there's not really enough material to work with? Unless you want the whole movie to be him working his way through dungeons and fighting monsters. No thank you.

There is enough material to work from. TWW and TP have given him a personality, for one. Lore and legends are not a problem. The culture of the Hylia is established. Ganon will be after the Triforce, of course. And Princess Zelda hopes a hero will come (she should definitely NOT be kidnapped, though ???). There are also landmarks that are used again and again, like the Lost Woods, Death Mountain and Lake Hylia. Geography won't be a problem.
