Can't say I wasn't expecting this, but...

Well, I found a copy of Enemy Zero on eBay a few weeks ago. It looked nothing like any copy I had ever seen before, so I decided to bid on it; if I won, I'd have an oddball Saturn game for my collection. I almost forgot about the auction entirely, but I got there with about three minutes left to bid on it. Well, I won, and it came in the mail today, and I discovered why I've never seen a copy like it before: It's a bootleg. A counterfeit. A knockoff. I can't say I wasn't expecting this, though; it came from Malaysia, and it was cheap (about seven bucks with shipping). While it is a playable copy of the game, that's all it is: a copy.

The moral of the story? If you see a copy of a game you like that looks nothing like any copy you've ever seen before, the item location is an Asian county other than Japan, and it's cheap, it's probably gonna be a bootleg. Oh, well, I've never seen a bootleg Saturn game before, so it makes a nice addition to my collection anyways.

Thus ends my tale of pointlessness. Just thought I'd share that with you all.
What, you expect me to say something witty?

Well, something for me to remember. Thanks for the warning!
....
Although I never do go on ebay...

I hate eBay-people just like, never send my stuff/never pay me. ;__;

Though I'm not sure about the Nightcrawler figure I bought a few weeks back-I sent payment, and he said he got it, and I... still don't have it. -facepalm-

Of course, the only time I ever get mail is when I spent $10-20 on shipping. /: Which, of course, is when I buy from a major company.

The post office hates me.

Pale Dim

It doesn't hate you, it just rips you off.

No, no, they hate me.

I think one of these days, I will find all of my mail hidden in a secret "hide from Fisk" cubby hole.

Pale Dim

That would explain the Truck labeled "Fisk Mail" I saw heading east last night.

You've just been unfortunate enough to encounter mainly bad sellers. If you don't get your item, you should contact the seller; they'll help you work it out/issue a refund, and if they don't, that's when you file a dispute with eBay. And if people never pay you, you can file a non-paying bidder dispute. Trust me, eBay can be a wonderful commodity, even if it has its kinks now and then. Don't give up.
